AGENT OF CHAOS! Okay, please let me know if this is too op or just doesn't sit well with anyone or if you've got any suggestions (love those!) but I was thinking of a vampire (or vampire like creature: inspired by some animals that camouflage themselves to look similar to their prey/predator) that feeds on other vampires (and perhaps the occasional other creature to create a sort of specialized omnivore). I'd like to play this character (at least in part). Since hunting and feeding from vampires can be very risky, especially on your own, she constantly tried to put the vampires and werewolves against each other. That way, the two sides are too busy blaming each other to notice that it might not have been a werewolf that killed/disappeared one of their number. She's still a little vague in my mind but I'd really like to develop her and this seems like a good place to do it considering the about of awesome I'm seeing everywhere.

okay i brainstormed a few ideas for what the city would be like, feel free to disregard or whatever if you want to:

Great idea @ayzrules for creating a city key, so to speak. That erases the issue of sorta mapping out the city scape and where everyone's character could turn up.

Also, since we're on the topic of the city and social structure, there should naturally be dividers based on class since there are always slums and middle class housing facilities/neighborhoods along with the general High Class housing. Also different lycan and vampire outposts/packs/covens. This can be done in game as well with a bit of external plotting so I guess nothing needs to be set in stone. Still worth thinking about.

@Xilaw I was curious if, like Order 1886, Lycans sort of exist on societies fringes. Are they still considered the most targeted enemy, quarantined in asylums? Or can they sort of pass as humans? Are they too feral? Or would you prefer we vote on the lore behind the creatures ourselves to make it more palatable for everyone involved? Should the lore surrounding both creature be adopted from a different universe all together like the one seen in Undrworld since that was pretty cool?

I think both Vampires and Lycans should be incorporated into the society and it will be difficult to detect them to a naked eye. Perhaps this brings a sort of a detective-like feel to the RP as well, in a way. Perhaps we should devise some sort of a Hunter Code to determine how half-breeds are dealt with, for example, if they are considered dangerous they are quarantined, if they kill a human they are put to death, if they kill among each others, etc.

Have no problem with voting on the creatures' appearances and capabilities. I personally vote for a physically stronger classic Lycan (like the one in Menick's profile picture) and a faster vampire. Also would like to see the two living in separate areas as a way of avoiding each others, for example, the cities are the vampires' domain while villages and outskirts are predominantly werewolf territory.

PS: I love the input so far, especially the Hourglass City. As far as Mina's creature goes, I'm personally okay with it as long as it's weaker than the pure-blood creatures. Maybe a unique case of a breeding between a vampire and a human, in which case you'd be stronger than average human but weaker than average vampire. Would you be okay with this?

We still need to define vampire abilities: jumping high, incredible speed, walking on walls, fast regeneration, sharp vision, hearing and smell, etc. I personally don't want them to be too strong so any suggestions are welcome.

That's what I was kind of aiming for. It would explain why she needs to have the smoke and mirrors to cover her feeding habits. I was also thinking she would be a bit unstable mentally at times as a side effect of her species/breeding.

Hourglass City sounds awesome! For the slums and poorer housing, we could base it off London and have them near the water/docks? While richer people live nearer the center of the city. The middle class can be sort of a buffer between the über rich and the slums.

I like the idea of werewolves be sort of a tank class. They could be a bit more dangerous just because they tend to seek out packs and are just plain hard to take down but considered slightly less of a threat just because they tend to stay in the more rural areas. While vampires might be more of a problem just because they tend to be very suave and likable, making friends in high places easily?

I like the idea either way of werewolves being the powerhouses physically and vampires being the speed demons.

Just thought at some point it could be nice to use your talent for visual representation of what we've come up with so far, specifically the town and such. I understand if drawing such things are not your area of expertise.

By the way, I'm kind of working on a sort of a "Hunter's guide" where I basically give description, history and some tips for the creatures. I think they should be defined before we start the roleplay. I'd like to share it with anyone who's interested in contributing. I've put a history section for some lore but I've had a bit of a writer's blockade and I'm not quite satisfied with how it turned out.
I could post it here but I don't want my lazy writing to deter anyone from the RP

Thank you. Anything you'd like to add is welcome. I encourage anyone who's motivated to do a similar thing with werewolves, or even some other mythical creature they'd like to see in the RP. Keep in mind that everything other than vampires and werewolves is thought to be extinct.
