I might want to make a character for this.

Name: Alison 'Alice' Simon

Age: 16

Codename: Magnum

Powers: Bone weaponry: Alice has the ability to manipulate and harden her own bones to create weapons out of her body. This can be as simple as creating a blade that juts out of her wrist for stabbing people to more complicated weaponry like forcing small shards of bone out of her fingertips like a pistol. With her powers, she can make her body into a weapon but it comes at a cost. Morphing her bones is painful, and while she has a super-human like tolerance for pain, using her ability for too long can render her unconscious. She finds using her ability as a ranged weapon to be more manageable in the long term, so often likes to shape her hands like pistols and fire bone bullets from her finger tips.

Regeneration: Alice's main ability takes a great toll on her body, enough to kill the average human. Luckily she also gained very minor regenerative properties. This ability is strong enough that any point on her body where she had forced her own sharpened bone through her skin would heal over a couple of seconds after she had retracted the weapon, but not strong enough that if she was shot or stabbed that she would be able to heal the wound instantly, but should she survive the wound she would recover faster than most. It also leaves pretty nasty scars, meaning her arms especially are covered in a lot of rather grizzly looking scars.

Appearance:
In addition to this, she has a lot of scars, especially around her wrists, from where she has made her own bone burst through her skin.

Costume:
The jacket is a simple white coat which she wears over a plain black tank top. She also wears plain white trousers adorned with a decorative holster and fake ray-gun. and white boots.

School clubs or achievements: Alice has the worst attendance of any student at the school and is remarkably good at finding inventive ways to skip class. She doesn't believe in school activities or anything like that and can often be found smoking on the bleachers. The only thing she's ever been good at is maths, but she doesn't pay attention in the few classes she does attend, so her innate skills are all she really has.

Brief bio: Alice had a pretty sweet life. Her parents were wealthy although divorced, meaning as she grew up Alice was spoiled rotten by both of them as they tried to win her favor with presents and gifts. As a young child, Alice got everything she could ever want. But, as she grew older, she realized she needed more and more. She started to lash out, craving whatever attention she could get from her parents. She shaved her own hair, died it bright colours and took up smoking, just to spite them. It never worked, her parents were always to busy with work or arguing to pay her any heed, so she just melted into the background, learning to be invisible and learning to hate everything. She hated the world she lived in, she hated her family and she hated herself.

Phaser and magnum are both accepted.

I'm going out of town later this afternoon and won't be able to get online until I come back late Friday. If this game hasn't filled up by then I will create a character and jump in.

Name: Walter Chuck Jones
Age: 14
Codename: Toon Master

Powers: Cartoon Constructs: This ability allows him to create solid cartoon objects and beings which he can use in many different ways. These constructs can have the physical qualities and abilities of whacky cartoon characters, and they also have personalities like cartoon characters and can speak.

Despite their versatility his constructs do have a limited time for how long they can be maintained and will start to deteriorate, or will shatter if too much force is put against them. Also the bigger his constructs are, the more energy he uses up to make them and keep them strong. The strength of his constructs are determined by how positive his emotional state is, if he is too negative then his powers will weaken.

Brief bio: Walter Chuck Jones never really saw himself as special, but that never got him down. He was always willing to try and look on the bright side of things. He loved watching cartoons throughout all of his childhood, and tried to use the feeling he got from watching the shows to make others feel happy. But things weren't always that good for Walt, he was bullied at school on a few occasions and was many times thought of as the joke of the school, but he still didn't let it get him down.

Little did he know in his blood he carried a mutated gene that had laid dormant for generations, but now it was active inside of him and one day when he had just turned fourteen, he discovered his great powers. His new found powers were the ability to create cartoon constructs and have them do whacky things. He saw this as his chance to become a hero and do some good for the people, and so he named himself Toon Master.

He is now seeking to fight against the villains who threaten the innocent, and when Walt gets into fighting crime, wackiness is sure to follow. he still attends school, but he has a trouble keeping up with school and hopes that he doesn't fail all of his test because of his hero work.

Meh, not sure how I feel about this power to be honest. I picture the mist having a physical change to the body and mind, and I'm not sure how this would work in that regard.

Sure, I say make it up too so that way she can use it more than just once before the bad stuff happen, but it keeps her to one type and makes it something she can't just spam the crap out of. So I'm down with it.

Bio could use a bit more but you don't have too if you don't want too, I feel like I get the gist of her.

Name: Samuel “Sammy” Crichton

Age: 15

Codename: Samson

Powers: Hair Manipulation - Sammy has complete control over his hair. He can move it like a limb, being able to wrap it into shapes or pick up things with it. His hair is super strong and could pickup a full sized adult and throw them or block a punch or weak swing of a bat, but can not block things like blades or a bullet. Sammy can rapidly grow hair to get a longer reach but he only does it to a certain limit as he has to cut after using it to get it back to its original length. He also can change his hair to any colour or shade possible, this takes about a minute on average to do, but can take longer when he has more hair. Currently he has most control over the hair on his head but is practising with other hair such as facial or arm.

Appearance: Sammy is a tanned individual who stands a bit tall for his age at 5’10”. His build is average for his height as he gets a decent amount of exercise. He has eyes that are a deep brown but are hidden behind his hair. Speaking of his hair it’s dark brown, almost black, and goes just past his shoulders. Other than that the most noticeable feature is his face where you can see his Native American heritage.

When it comes to clothes Sammy wears a variety. He wears the common darker colours associated with Metal, but will also wear bright pop culture related shirts and sweaters. But other than pop logos, Sammy doesn’t care about brand name. He can be seen wearing regularly cheap sneakers and well worn hoodies and doesn’t care.

Costume: The most notable thing about Sammy’s costume is the skull mask. Not meant to frighten, but as a nod to Sammy’s love of Metal. The bottom layer of his clothes are grey jogging attire. This is then covered in black pads on his legs, knees, and elbows as well as a combat vest of the same colour. He also wears gloves and boots of a similar black. Also while not apart of his costume, he usually turns his hair white while on patrol.

School clubs or achievements: Decent grades, a member of the school’s anime and comic clubs, member of a Metal band with fellow students.

Brief bio: Samuel Crichton was born in Chicago to a Seth, a corporate training designer, and Riley, a Sunday school teacher. When Sammy was young his Father wasn’t around much as his job meant he had to travel around the country training newcomers to his company. So Sammy was left with his Mother who made sure he had a good Christian upbringing. This was undermined by his Grandfather, also named Samuel, who was Native American and told Sammy about other religions and said he should make up his own mind. So Sammy expanded his horizons, getting into comics and anime, and eventually Heavy Metal. His newfound love of Metal led him to start taking guitar lessons. Shortly after this Sammy’s father got a promotion meaning he wouldn’t have to travel. The catch? His new job was in Central City. So the Crichton’s packed up and moved to the new city. Less than a year later Sammy started high school and found others with the same interest. Eventually Sammy joined a Metal band made up of students, Sammy being the youngest. Sammy loved being in the band but felt inferior to the other guitarist who was quite a bit more skilled than Sammy. So Sammy figured he had to get some better training. As such he jumped at the opportunity when he heard former Central City local, now underground Metal legend, Richard Ashton was going to be at a party at a local warehouse. He never did meet Richard at the party, but instead now learnt that he could control his already long hair, and could even make it longer. After he was approached by Apollo, Sammy remembered the tale of Samson whose power came from his hair. Seemed like an appropriate name for him.

Okay with Samson and will o wasp accepted were up to 8 people now with those two, rubberbando, elementa, the fool, hanged man, phaser, and magnum. I'm thinking ill call it there. Since I was wanting a decent but not too big group for the story.

So since I think were good there, one thing is I'm debating when to start it timeline wise. Day after when they discover their powers, week after when all the shit hits the fan, or something like a start next morning and timeskip to week later. I already know how were starting it too. As Apollo and his special costume designing friend will get them together in school post classes.

Hm. We could start the morning after, but we're all already familiar with each other's characters' abilities, and we all know how our characters got them. Though it's always fun to write a morning after scene...

Starting the week after when all the shit hits the fan, I think will give us more momentum.
