Devon rolled over in her bed, still half asleep and wondering why her room looked different. After another few seconds of staring at the ceiling, however, a few memories from the day before came back and it all started to make sense. "Right. Camp. Summer of fun and all that. Got it." Rolling over once more to face the other side of the room. "Ivy, you up yet? What time is it?"

David was up early as usual, using trees as weights and generally just having fun with nature . . . in a sense. With a satisfied huff, he tossed the large oak in his hand to the side.

"Hm, I wondered if it's time for breakfast yet?" he wondered, stretching down. He began his walk towards the cabins, looking forward to washing off the sweat he had built up.

Katsumi woke up and headed toward the building every one would be eating breakfast in early to help cook. He was an excellent cook at home and thought he would treat every one to his cooking or at least to a real cup of coffee!

"It is early. I think the breakfast bell goes off at eight if I remember right?"Ivy answered. She rubbed her eyes as she rolled out of bed. She didnt have a clock so she couldnt tell her roommate the actual time. She knew Kyle was up. He had probably been up before the bell. "What do you think they will serve for breakfast? I hope it's pancakes with lots and lots of syrup."

Katsumi was preparing anything anyone might want and may even be going over board.. again. But after nearly letting "Mr. Hyde" get lose he was determined to make it up to people. He had learned while working at the Café at home that the most important thing was to make sure That everyone is satisfied. There was no such thing as doing to little! Thus he had prepared Many things including Eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, Pancakes with an assortment of syrups, and cinnamon rolls. He looked at everything and thought "I Definitely Overdid It!" Then he sighed and began to finish before people would start walking in.

"That early, huh?" Devon gave a yawn, pushing the covers off and swinging both feet over the side of the bed to stand up. "Not the worst time, I guess. And yeah, pancakes sound awesome right about now. I wonder if they'll actually have stuff like that at a camp...I guess it's not that strange if they do. There are camps that do that."

After stretching out a bit, the young dragon made its way over to the dresser to pick out some clothes. Something simple like a plain blue T-shirt and grey shorts that went to the knees. There was a moment of consideration for yesterday's hoodie and cap before they were added as well. It may have been summer, but it could still be cold in the morning for all they knew. "Hey, Ivy, d'ya think your brother might want to eat with us or something? Didn't get much chance to talk with him yesterday."

Her brother meant well and she loved him to pieces but he tended to be boring. He was very serious. She knew he thought he had to be because he was responsible for her.

"An accident? That's a little harsh. You don't look like much of a troublemaker to me." Devon frowned a bit while pulling the T-shirt on. "I've only seen you use your ability maybe twice now, but you seem like you have better control over it than most humans your age that I've seen have over their own limbs, if that's what he's thinking about." With the shirt on and the shorts joining them, the teen ran a brush through their hair quickly before putting on the cap. "Maybe he just needs some proof that you can handle yourself. I bet if he sees how well you can manage things at camp, he'll probably relax a bit. I know some family members who are a little like that myself."

Of course, what Devon never mentioned was that she was still trying to figure out how to prove her capabilities to them. It was hard to do as one of the youngest in the family.

Ivy laughed. "I doubt that. Kyle is a worrier. I think it is because he is responsible for me and has been for awhile. He knows I am not as serious as he is. I like to play with power. He wouldnt dream of doing so. But I guess that could change." She didnt think it was likely. Kyle had had to grow up too fast. He took his responsibility as her guardian very seriously. Sometimes too seriously.

"Hmm...is that so...?" Devon deflated a bit at the thought of being unable to convince the boy to lighten up, but bounced back quickly enough. "Maybe he just needs help relaxing, then! If he can have some fun without running into any trouble for a while, maybe he'll lighten up a bit and see there's nothing to fear. Besides, there are elders here, they can take care of things for a bit. And there's nothing wrong with letting loose once in a while!"

Finishing preparations for the day, the excited teen started out the door. "Come on! Let's go drag your brother into some fun today!"

Ivy laughed at that idea. She couldnt imagine. Kyle having fun. He was more relaxed here. Maybe because there were adults to help him keep an eye on her. She followed her friend out of the cabin. She bounced around Devon as they walked. She would occasionally get distracted by a flower or something and wondered off. But she always came back.

The blue-eyed teen chuckled a bit while watching their cabinmate. She seemed so excited about everything. "Hey, don't forget that we came out here to get breakfast eventually," Devon teased, giving a lighthearted grin so the Ivy would be able to tell that it was a joke.

Upon reaching the dining hall, the young dragon inhaled deeply, enjoying the scent of food even before entering. "Oh wow! You might have been right about those pancakes after all. We'd better get some before everyone else gets here and takes them all."

Jak had just gotten to the camp when he heard a bell. He decided that it was most likely a breakfast bell, so he headed to where the councillors told him the cafeteria was. He smelled pancakes. Jak loved pancakes. He walked into the cafeteria and began looking for a place to sit.

Kyle looked around as he entered the lunch room. He frowned when he didnt see Ivy. Where was his sister? He wanted to check in with her. He liked knowing where she was and what she was doing. Ivy wasnt a bad kid but she tended to get into trouble. Since she was his responsiblity he wanted to know where she was and what she was upto.

David entered the dining hall, eager and ready to devour a ton of poor unsuspecting bbreakfast foods. He'd just come back from the showers and was generally feeling b pretty good.

Upon entering he caught sight of Devon and Kyle, two facts he was a bit more familiar with than most v others at the camp. He grinned and waved at the two.
