@Urbanliner I must say, Power Negation can be a bit OP. Can you give me some examples of things his ability could negate? Like, I get since he cant deactivate his power then he wouldn't be able to receive the benefits of a power like healing.

But, what kind of offensive powers can he negate?

Kassandra Keigwan

Kassy stands about 5'9, with dark, cool brown skin. Her hair is frost white and thick, worn in a short style. Her eyes are wide-set and bright orange. Her body is heavily curved; she weighs about 200 pounds. A decent amount of this is muscle gained by frequent swimming, but she does have a good amount of feminine softness.

Even though she's taller than some of the boys, Kassy's style is very flowing and feminine. She loves earthy colors and flowing fabrics, and probably owns about two pairs of pants. Everything else is loose, long skirts, flowery tops, and jewelry. She also has a fondness for sandals.

For such a sturdy young woman, Kassy is very withdrawn. She steps quietly, speaks quietly, and has a sort of shyness to her. Due to her heavily isolated upbringing, she's still getting used to the idea that people don't already know (and dislike) who she is. Those who don't mind waiting for her to come out of hiding will find her a good-hearted, trustworthy friend, one who can hear a secret and never let it pass her own lips.

Personality: On the outside, Kassy is very meek and quiet. There is a certain level of fear to her interactions, behavior that stems from years of being a social pariah due to her aunt's notions. Truthfully, she is a gentle soul, but the meekness is more protection than reality. At the core of her lies steel. She hates to see anything she considers 'bullying' and will stand up for people when they're hurt. While she may take it from bullies personally, without botherinig to be upset, she will jump to the defense of others. She loves to make others happy, but is slowly learning that she doesn't have to sacfrifice herself to do that.

Kassy rarely loses her cool, but when she does, it seems to unbottle deep pain that has been festering for years. Kassy is well-read and her tongue is sharp, and although she hates herself afterward, she knows how to insult with razor-barbed insults and burning sarcasm. It's something she learned to do, so that others realized that she wouldn't buckle easily.

History: Kassy's mother was a world-renowned medium, one who could speak to the 'other side'. Her parents traveled the world with little Kassy in tow, going from one place to another to further her mother's work. Some people believed whole-heartedly, while others were quite skeptical. They got attention wherever they went, but not all of it was positive attention. Kassy in particular felt quite alienated- she was born with her white hair, and odd-colored eyes. In some places, people were sure that her mother had consorted with some 'unholy force' to concieve such a child.

When Kassy was eight, Kassy's mother died during a showing, in the middle of contacting a spirit. Her father was distraught, and after months of grieving decided he couldn't care for his child anymore. He put her under the care of her mother's sister, Kassy's aunt Krista. He promised to return for her when he felt better.

Kassy hasn't seen her father since.

Her aunt Kristy hated her sister Kaia for what she was, and thought her sister nothing more than attention-seeking fraud. As a result of this hatred, she treated her niece like dirt: ruining her confidence at every turn, making sure no one in town would see her as normal, missing no opportunity to call her a freak, or wrong, or devil-child. The town took up the rumors, and Kassy grew up lonely and an acceptable target for bullies. Her abilities started early, when she was about eleven. She was being chased by bullies after school, and in her panic, hid in an alley. She was so afraid of being caught and harmed that her powers kicked into an adrenaline fueled overdrive. Once she realized that she'd made herself literally invisible, she started hone her skills more and more.

Kassy escaped to the Academy as soon as she was able to, and tries not to look back on the memories.

Current Classification: Starborn (Candidate for Orion?)

Special Ability: Kassy has the ability to create illusions, tricking all 5 senses. All 5 in theory, anyway- so far she's got a real weakness as far as scent and taste illusions go. (So far she can make people taste and smell lemons, if she really concentrates.)

Her strongest ability is definitely visual illusions, but sound is right behind. One of the more 'fun' tricks that she does is to create tactile illusions. A light tap to someone's shoulder, an itch, a bite, freezing cold, burning acid... She can do it all, to simply scare an enemy into thinking they're injured. She can also send happier sensations, though she's likely very shy about who she'd send illusory hugs to.

Imperfection:
Kassy's illusions fail against technology. Cameras and microphones cannot be tricked, as they don't have minds that can be warped and fooled by her methods.

Kassy's ability can be blocked or diminished by people who have extremely strong mental wills. Soldiers are usually trained against brainwashing techniques, and are prepped to keep themselves sane. Martial artists of a high level know how to clear all distraction. Kassy is not at a level where she can overcome that kind of mental conditioning.

If she uses an illusion against someone who lacks that sense (a false image against someone who is blind) it will fail.

@Mistress Dizzy Everything looks good. Feel free to move her into the character section. Just make sure you don't abuse the illusion casting. I've seen it used as a COMPLETELY OVERPOWERED ability in several animes.
