Cool, that's what I had in mind. In that case, I'm happy to approve your char and their GEAR. As I said earlier to Caliban, I'll PM you, Aristo and Caliban prior to introducting your characters just so everyone's starting on the same page. It won't be for a little bit yet; got to square this scene away and set up things for the next one so you can all be introduced in a sensible way. Good to have you aboard though, and looking forward to getting you involved.

You kids and your 40K. When I played it, it was 2nd edition; we rolled fistfuls of tiny D6's, had cardboard blast markers, the minis were made of honest-to-god LEAD, and cost under £10.00 for metal single minis!

And it still had a sense of humour!

It still does, considering how many Warhammer 40k memes are on my phone.

It still does, considering how many Warhammer 40k memes are on my phone.

Ah, but those are all fan-created things. The actual source material used to be a lot more tongue-in-cheek about the GRIMDARK and used to have loads of in-jokes and references to things, rather than being so po-faced and bloody miserable all the time. It's one of the things that put me off of 40K and GW in general. That and their utterly ludicrous price-hikes over the last twenty-odd years.

Stupid question, but you want our new characters posted here, correct?


Not a stupid question at all! If you could please post your character in the characters tab. If you need to make any changes, just edit the initial post with them, that way we avoid having too many repeated posts of the same thing :)

Yes yes, but Dota proves that fan-made stuff can be downright awesome. Honestly I love the RTS Warhammer games, just so much fun when the big fights happen.
