@Scarifar: Front doors are locked. ^^; You can still try them, but they're locked.

There's some stuff to investigate on the skeleton though, if you so choose.

Considering that this dungeon is one that many adventurers have gone to (and may or may not have returned), why would the front doors be locked? It's not like anyone's going to spend the time and effort to lock them. If there was a self-locking mechanism, though, then that's a different story.

The door's always been locked, anyone who wanted to see the first few floors didn't use the front door, especially after they learn about exactly what it does to people who try to pick the lock.

There's another way in that's much less complicated.

Any hints as to what that might actually be?

Well, it's a crumbling, ruined tower.

The structure's not stable, some things may have fallen away.

Well, Vita, this is your dungeon, which means you have pretty much all the details about it. If you don't tell us these details, that requires the players to come up with their own, which you said you were "looking forward to seeing what people come up with". If you just say someone's method is wrong and that there is another method that's right that you won't tell us, how are we supposed to come up with something that makes sense that allows us to both have fun and and fits with your version of the dungeon?

... You misunderstood what I said. ^^;

I'm in charge of this dungeon, yes. I'm in charge of all the details, but people still need to look for an alternate entrance first.

But once we're done with this dungeon, the next dungeon will not be GMed by me. As I said in the first post, anyone can submit a dungeon for approval just like they would a character. If that dungeon is approved, they take over as GM for the duration of that dungeon.

I believe the idea is that, as a dungeon crawl, if you want details on something, the character investigates (preferably with a 10' pole) and the GM then fills them in, since things are already prepared. Traps would suck if they required players to add them in, since they lose the surprise factor.

... wait, are we investigating a dungeon without a 10' pole? D:

I'm afraid I won't be able to participate in this RP anymore. An upcoming week-long vacation, plus the numerous unusual GMing decisions made here have sapped my determination to continue. I hope you don't feel any hard feelings about my leaving, and I look forward to RPing with you again!

I think I'm gonna throw in the towel too. There's not exactly many people left. I'm probably one of the last ones to go, if not the last.

I think I have at most two players left now and I can't really do much like this anymore... I'm not really sure why people felt the need to leave. I started at the dungeon like I was asked to, I guess I'm just kind of confused.
