@RangingWolf also if you were part of the unit that first came through the gate you'd be on a different continent wouldn't you ? it was the red gate that sent an army unit through and we're all at the green gate.

True. For rp purposes my character was taken hostage by bandits and moved. It was somewhat explained in the history. My bad for not making it clearer

My character is currently based on a buddy you get later in the game. So minor spoilers.

I've added something that will hopefully push the story forward a bit. I'd preferably like to keep everyone on the earth side of the gate as the military discovers it. So try to get your character to a position away from the gate somehow...

This RP looks somewhat interesting, with a lot of room for creativity in the character department; though I can't say for sure that I'd join since I'm being very picky with RPs at the moment, primarily so they don't become too distracting. In fact, I only want one. Of course, that is assuming this isn't a case of 'the RP is actually full and we just couldn't change the status'. :V

I will ask a question, though; in the 'race' section of the CS, when you say 'keep it relatable', what exactly does that mean? Surely anything can be relatable if written well enough, right?

from my understanding dont have something not from either universe. ie something along the lines of a superhero or something extremely op. The rp takes place in both a fantasy world and the real world.

@mizushinzui Yeah, that kind of thing. Your character could be near the gate, but i'd rather they remain undiscovered. If you bring in the government you lose lots of the fun you can have with just exploring earth/otherworld, rather than as a VIP/hostile. It's kinda weird to explain but i'd just like to push the story in that direction.
Although i'm open to any ideas.

I'd basically just say, something which realistically does not stray from being 'humanoid'. Like Wolf said. Elves, dwarfs, wizards and orcs ect. They work, but things like gods or dragons are too different from humans to be able to relate to them.

Just work round that? idk? someone you think will fit in.
