"I say palace, our other fishy friend is gonna need help!" King yells, already trying to line up a shot on the dragon guard. "Damn, this wind is making aimin a little hard....try to get a little close, so I can get a better shot..." King says, growling a bit as he struggles to get a bead on the enemy.

@supertinyking"Yeah I'd rather not get torn to shreds, those guys are from the Dragon Guard and if I get seen by them Im toast." Albert flies towards the palace flying between clouds to help cover their advance.

Seeing as Gorda was now silent, Mithias finished his portal casting. This one was new and special, for it opened not into a new dimension, but into another location within his current one. He took one last look at Gorda. "Do whatever you want Gorda. This world's protector died long ago." Exactly what that meant, the vampire didn't elaborate.

Mithias walked stealthy down the long hall. This was a sky scraper style office building in Tokyo, the Yamada corporation. He hadn't had to pass security, hadn't had to knock out any cameras downstairs, didn't even climb any stairs in fact, and yet he was here, stalking his prey.

He recognized the voice in the corner office suite in front of him. The lights were dim, because why would a vampire CEO need anything more than a computer screen? The red-eyed bloodsucker, Adam was on the phone, leaning back in his desk chair, facing the window. He couldn't see the door where Mithias had walked in. In truth, it wasn't fair at all. Adam had no warning, no defense. He was completely relaxed as he negotiated with his underling on the other line. Suddenly he had a sword sticking out his chest.

In shock, the 2 thousand year old child-vampire dropped the phone and gasped, looking down, he saw the sword and fear struck him. Then he smelled the blood... only the blood was not his own. Mithias' swords also bore the blood of Adam's human consort... former human consort.

Oldbloods were strong and uncannily resilient, and of course, Adam did not immediately die. He shot up, withdrawing his corpse from the blade and faced Mithias. "Accursed hellspawn! I will burn you piece by piece! I...! Mithias??" Adam stopped, his wound closing as he began to laugh and laugh, but oh he was so incredibly angry. He grimaced. "You're immune to my charms, Mithias. How did you get in here? How did you?... Are you really going to kill me?"

A brief struggle followed, and like an assassin, Mithias showed no mercy. Adam was already wounded, unarmed, and caught off guard. Mithias took off an arm and impaled Adam to a beautiful wooden meeting table. Mithias looked into Adam's fetching eyes. "I'm sorry., but I cheated." Then he cut off the vampire's head.

Darkwing Duck teleports into crazy world using high technology.

In the chaos realm, at the sight of a great battle, a portal opened. It seems whatever being Asura had spoke to..listened, and rent open a gateway out of this hellish place. Rick, who was heavily damaged, rushes into this portal, blood trailing behind him.

Darkwing Duck had no idea what the hell what was going on, he decided to roam around the place looking villains.

However, what may be most worrying, is he's eating something, a large hunk of a monster he'd killed near by, his weapon still dripping with its purple blood. Of course, a grizzly sight for someone like Darkwing duck, but for a place like the chaos realm, this may be common place.

"These bozos act like Dominion thugs. That, pisses me off. Normally, I'm a nice fella, but summoning meteors? That's a bit past the bloody line....Drop me off on a roof, and I'll handle things with the dragon guard. You two, go and...do something. I am not sure." King says, before thinking. "Ya know what, I'll drop myself off. See you later guys!" He says, before leaping off of the dragon, and landing safely, the dwarf being made of sturdy enough stuff a fall like that would do little more than make him soar. He lands on the wall of the palace, using his weapon to control the direction of his fall.

"Good, your reserves sound up to par." This world could fend for itself. This must, at least in part, be how it was able to survive outside the boundaries of the Empire of Man. However, even a billion men wouldn't stop the armies of chaos, if they were to take route. It was important that the leaders of this world were informed of the threat of Chaos, and took the necessary precautions. "Take action immediately, I expect to-"

Ironically, it was about then that they were attacked. A mysterious woman appeared, with the intention to mock the group. However, Valentus' skills had been trained in almost a thousand years of constant warfare. The moment she appeared his gun swung around, and it was only due to her rapid movement that she was able to avoid turning into a red mist. Round after round was fired from the gun, each tearing through walls of steel and stone as if they were mere butter. The explosive charge ripped large holes in the ships as the Terminator aimed for the elimination of the target with no care for anything around her, each bullet placed with expert aim.

An enemy ship appeared above and opened fire on the transports. Those within were rapidly killed. However the ship's weaponry was never aimed at the terminator, nor the forces on the ground. Clearly this meant they wanted to take a living prisoner, although Valentus wasn't sure whether it was the Colonel or the girl it was after. There was no time to discuss loyalties, no time to think things through. This was the time for action. He stood in front of the Colonel, shielding him, and fired his Storm Bolter at the ship above, tearing it's engines apart with uncanny precision.

"Witch girl! Here's your chance to prove your worth. Fight by my side, and you will be judged an ally. Flee or turn against us, and you will be destroyed." With those simple words, he prepared to face any threat that might emerge from the ship, even as it began crashing down from the sky. In addition to the strange magical woman any number of enemies might appear. And he was prepared to take them all to Hell personally.

Both Kaito and Saito were facing the full wrath of Yamato no Orochi head-on. Tornadoes swooped down from above like fists, punches with the force of a cruise missile smashing into the immense heads, pushing them backwards, attempting to drill into them. Buffeting gales did little to the immense beast, and even the concentrated power of a tornado seemed to do little to truly harm it. And yet the buffeting blows were interspersed with beams of lightning, arcs of plasma that tore apart the creature's scales and cooked it's flesh. Immense beams struck down, accompanying the ball lightning that was Kaito. And yet they were like the bites of some insect to Yamato no Orochi, like using a needle to try and slay a lion. Regardless of the outcome, this would be a long fight.

However, as King landed on the Palace Wall, he had forgotten to take account of a third member. Yamato no Orochi had not yet reached the land, and the Herald had simply been waiting. Even as he landed on a rooftop, the Herald shot towards him. It's fingers tore into the walls of the palace, rapidly propelling him upwards towards the roof. He appeared over the edge as a blur of movements, lithe and graceful as a snake, and yet with not a single movement wasted. It was a sight equally terrifying and beautiful, martial knowledge taken to the absolute, the strength of body and mind represented by the perfect warrior.

The Herald stood facing King, and yet made no move to attack. For a moment, an odd peace of sorts developed, as both of the combatants looked one another over. King had his weapon by his side, and the Herald had not even drawn his katana. He stood completely still, not even seeming to breathe in that second of silence. Then, slowly, he raised one hand. He held up three fingers, waiting a moment to ensure that King had understood the signal. Then he stood still, as if waiting. Giving King the first attack, allowing him to run away, or perhaps simply waiting for the right moment to pounce.

Meanwhile, a completely different scene played out. Even as Albert circled the great palace at the centre of Aegis, a storm of tiny white paper figures slammed into him. A swarm of paper planes, imbued with minor spirit. Their edges were magically enhanced to be a sharp as blades, and the effect was very much like being in a drying machine with a knife collection. Cuts appeared across his body, even as Eclipse attempted to ward off the assault. And yet Eclipse could sense the true origin of the attack. These tiny paper creatures were merely golems, created to function as a weapon from afar.

Kiyoki stood outside the gates of the palace, having completed his preparations. The rain bent around him, a strange child hovering above his head and averting the water. A minor spirit of rain, bound to serve as a magical umbrella. Kiyoki smiled, knowing he had been seen, and displaying his confidence even as he guided the swarm of paper blades with his left hand. He held what appeared to be a charm or fetish of some kind, a focal point for his control over the Shikigami. If he was not stopped in some way, the blades would tear both Albert and those who rode him to bloody shreds.

@thewizardguyBlarg looks at the guy with the fetish in his hand and jumps straight towards him, landing neatly in front of him even from such a height Blarg seemed unaffected the fall. Blarg looks at the man, then rips off one of his arm spikes and stabs at the man with it using it like a knife of sorts.

In response to his words and the gunfire, White Rabbit nodded. She had brought along a duffel bag full of weaponry with her to ensure she was capable of switching what she needed quickly and efficiently, and decided to wear fairly basic body armor, capable of taking limited small arms fire.

"The battle may be starting now, but it'll be finished in our favor soon enough." For someone with a completely alien perception and set of morals, she had the experience to act like humanoids fairly well. In situations like these, she understood that what they called "encouraging words" were important to fight hard. To that end, she had responded in a way to try and get the mens fighting spirit up. This was, after all, an important mission for their cause.

However, it seemed that their ship had come under anti aircraft fire. But that made little sense- they hadn't been expecting the enemy to have something so large and bulky as anti aircraft guns already set up. Either their intelligence was wrong, or something had changed about this missions parameters. Regardless, the fire had to stop. If it damaged the dropship to much, the Clone Soldiers and Lucien may go down with the drop ship, possibly causing causalities. But if they jumped ship, they could be picked apart by that same AA gun as they fell. There was also the possibility that the ship would land just fine, but one for three for a good ending wasn't exactly acceptable odds for her.

"We may go down like this. I'll try and take down or distract whatever is hitting this ship. Once you get out, I'll cover your advance." While she was focused toward ranged warfare or hand to hand, Lucien was focused toward using his strength to often times literally crush his opponent. Their ability set was actually very compatible. To that end, she would try and make sure he got close enough to tear his enemies in two, without taking a bullet in the process for his troubles.

She activated her Timepiece, and used it to telport to a place she had already memorized on the way here, a hill overlooking this quaint little garden. She took a simple heavy machine gun out of her duffel back, activated her void shields, and started a stream of armor piercing fire on to the "AA piece" that was firing on their ship. After a better look, that AA piece turned out to be a man in what seemed like ship grade power armor. There was that "changed mission parameter". Fun fun.

A Psyker seemed very similar to a sorcerer, so it makes sense that he confused her for one. Some spells did call upon the powers of the Dark Gods, but they had no real way to influence you by that alone. They don't really care about having humans worship them, if anything, they preferred it if all humans feared them more, and would accept being slaves to them.

While learning about Psykers was interesting, the far more interesting thing was his answer regarding the Dark Gods and the Warp. The Warp came from Chaos, and while the Gods come from the Warp, and stay there, they were created by the sins of mankind. That was very different than the world Lina came from. Chaos always existed, and for a long time there was only Chaos, until all life came from her, including the Dark Gods. Other beings, including higher powers, demons, and humans came as well, but none could compare to the individual power of the Dark Gods.

" I see, but don't worry, I'm not under the influence of anything. Using a spell isn't enough for the Dark Gods to be influence the caster, but there are people who do want to work with them. Soon after of course, they realize that trying to work with them will only result in your death. Each one controls their own worlds. The one who once controlled mine was split into several shards, two of which I have destroyed, and I do plan on destroying the rest. The other was complete, and was far more powerful than anything I've ever encountered. Thankfully, I managed to destroy him, and hopefully, in turn, save the people from the world he was in control of. I don't know much about the other two other than their names, but I don't think they directly intervene with their worlds much. Anyway, I think our Dark Gods might reflect each other slightly. Both are immensely powerful and evil, have beings who serve under them that are powerful, then below them, and so on. "

Of course, Lina didn't think they shared a parallel world. Nobody could ever be as powerful as Lina was, while being as beautiful. It could only happen once, never again would such a combination exist.

Sadly, it didn't seem like they would have time to continue their conversation. People seemed to be dying. Pity.

A lady in what appeared to be priestess clothing was the one behind all the damage, and claimed to be there in order to assist Lina. She really didn't need it, her threat wasn't a bluff. It was within her power to annihilate the Colonel and his men with ease.

Things however, got even worse when a strange man appeared from no where and asked if he should start shooting, as well as the behemoth asking Lina to assist him, or she would be considered an enemy. Which probably meant he would hunt her down. Fantastic.

" Alright, I can end this conflict quickly! I need to get some distance, so cover me while I back up a bit! Just have to not die, and make sure I don't, for a minute or two! "

She probably didn't need that much cover, but you can never be sure. Hopefully they could keep the others occupied, and give Lina enough time to get far enough a way so she could channel her spell in safety.

"Raywing!"

The wind shield created by Raywing kicked up a dirt storm , making it nearly impossible to see Lina. She then flew as fast as she could to a decently far away area. As long as she had where she wanted in sight, she was sure it would be fine. Raywing should block out the bullets from most enemy fire, so there was little to worry about.

Lina was also extremely confident in her ability to end the conflict really quickly, she just hoped she didn't have to pay for property damage.
