So quick question then. If I just went with a Superboy clone, you'd be OK with that, even though its considerbly more powerful?

Are you talking about Zerofighter's character?

Just in general tbh. SS/Invuln/Leaping vs SS/Regen/Teleport. Anyone else miss City of Heroes?

But yeah, in general.

I would still say in general the character is too powerful compared to the rest of our powers.

ah, ok, so you understand that invuln is about equal to regen in powerset terms.

Though do you guys have any 'bruiser' fighters like Superboy? Because if he or Deadpool-esque are too strong, you can't even stand up to Bane very well tbh.

Anyone ever play City of Heroes? If not, Valiance Online should be close to the feel of CoH. CoH was a very fun game.

That would probably be Cora. I kind of played on a lot of superboy's traits to make her, and strength is her primary characteristic.

I did once, but I'm not all that much of an online player to be quite honest.

Yeah but they aren't on the front lines.

GL with the B list villains like Bane is all I'm saying without a tank/bruiser. Anyway, hope you all have fun.

It was a fun game. Still got the build for my scrapper. Oh well, thats why you never get published by NCsoft.

From my count we actually have quite the few "bruiser" type characters. There is Red a.k.a. Primal Boy, Cora a.k.a. Exile, Alexandrovich a.k.a. Plutonium, and maybe Louisa a.k.a. Tisiphone and Lex a.k.a. Brainiac but that depends on how they are played. I think the problem with the whole OPness of the character was that there was nothing that could really stop do to her borderline immortality from her regeneration, just inconvenience her for a time being. Like you said her powers are like a water downed Deadpool, but you have to keep in mind that Deadpool is the type of character that is amazing to read but hard to play with seeing as he is never on a equal playing field as those around him... anywho that was my thought of the day... I'll just go sit in the corner now

@RainDash I just had a random idea of Seamus conjuring a demon for a spell and accidently summons Cora by mistake... okay back to my corner.

@Saarebas Well actually that is a great idea. She can't leave the base, and if we needed her then that's how we could get her form point A to point B.

Well to be fair Regeneration is better than Invulnerability from a story standpoint as it is easier to counter and can lead to some very dark torture scenes and the like. But ya know, people don't think about that sorta thing so w/e.

Just gonna throw this here.

3. If an argument rises try to solve it quickly or take it into the PM's

6. Either my word or a Co-GM word is finale so please don't argue.

Not saying your arguing, but still this has gone on farther than it should.

The question remaining would be cleanup. I mean I can just imagine some poor guard just walking into a room and discovering this huge pentagram or whatever.

"Goddamn it larry we said no summoning demons in the base!"

@Archmage MC Oh with out a doubt it is more interesting, seeing a guy get turned into Swiss cheese from a hail of gun fire then watching what's left of his body mend its self back together is so much more awesome than just watching some bullet proof guy walk through a cloud of bullets. But I don't think that isn't really what the deal is, it is Light doesn't seem like anything can really stop her sort of breaking her down to her atoms which is kind of hard to do.

@gamer5910 Oh don't worry boss no one is arguing, everyone here are just some comic fans talking over the superpowers we wished we had.

@RainDash Larry: "I swear boss it wasn't me... I did the one in the bathroom."

Thought it would be great if the place had a lab/workshop. Since i wanted my character to feel at home and she doesn't sleep, was thinking that she could hang out there upgrading/ maintaining tech stuffs.

I mean it's more that between missions she has to stay in the cave where they watch her. She's not totally forbidden from leaving, but freely wandering the nearby town is definitely out.

Eh, Light herself, I gave her that "tie her up to give her lots of trouble" weakness. Basically Robin or Batman come in and its GG for her once they throw their boas at her. xD. I just dunno how to make it a weakness logically besides "just because". I'd think it would be to a missing or weak muscle group in her anatomy, but I don't know which ones it would be that aren't as needed for other basic things, such as locomotion. Everyone is hung up on trying to kill her, when you can do far worse BECAUSE she can't be killed very easily.

Did you play City of Heroes or no?

Your a fan of the Joker. Know a place to read The Killing Joke?
