Just to clarify before I post, both Cole and Desmond have reached the apartment complex correct?@FortunesFaded

Yes. I edited my original post to reflect Cole's entrance. Cole is right outside your door, while Desmond and Scout are just downstairs, near where Hunter killed that first walker with a shotgun.

@CandiBarr Lol. Easily recognizable I know but pictures of him as Mad Max has always been one of my favorites, even before I knew it was him and what movie it was from.

@FortunesFaded Wait there's more people? Whoops, I'm sorry! If I would have known I would have put that in my post. Ugh, maybe we should put like, location indicators like below our name so it makes it easier? Like this:

Cole Anderson

Apartment Complex near Wilmington, mid-day

Just a suggestion, if not, oh well. I just like to contribute positively.

Also, I'm gonna say there's like, maybe 4 or 5 zombies left at the apartment complex? Three on the steps (well, toppled over each other as they fall down the steps) and two walking in? One for each person! (If you don't count the couple Cole already killed). Does that sound fair? I just figured it'd be a good excuse to get everybody together and make a little action.

Going to be getting back into character for another post.

Ironic-note, one time I RPed a guy in a remote cabin trying to furiously contact the outside-world with morse-code on a hand-made radio while surrounded by vaguely-intelligent zombies upon which headshots did nothing.

Oh, and he was missing a hand, he then had both his legs shattered when he fell from his rescue-chopper... and right into the midst of a couple-thousand crippled crawlers.

Who's laughing now?

@Desire There were, but they arrived after! Don;t worry, you did nothing wrong. I started typing my post before you posted, but posted it after you, so they arrived after Cole entered the building and I just had to edit that in a bit to fit with it all fluidly.

@Foster Was that your character from Northwards? I seem to recall him breaking his legs..

Also, points for the Red v. Blue link.

Anthony "Leo" Strayker

45

C.I.A Analyst

American / Italian

Washington, D.C.

Leo is what you might consider a hard nosed individual who also at the same time has a heart of gold even in the current times. He is an old world styled person who believes that respect begets respect and disrespect begets getting punched the hell in the face. He is the kind of man who would charge head first into a burning building to rescue a child and at the same time a person who would scold you for leaving a child to burn to death while you ran. Even though he was born in America Leo had full blooded Italian parents so he definitely has that Italian fire in him and he is not afraid to say what has to be said or do what has to be done. He considers himself a loner in a lot of ways given his background, but he can get a long with anyone who affords him the respect he feels he has earned. He can either be a great ally and a dedicated friend or a nightmare considering how you treat him, and more then not if his past has not made this clear, he is not afraid to get his hands dirty.

Disclaimer: Figured I would use the other spot seeming I would leave it vacant anyways to tell you that this character is what you might consider a bit in the mode of being powerful. However this is not my intention for him and I wanted to ensure you that just because he worked for the C.I.A does not mean he has magical knowledge of what caused the disease or even how it started. He is not a super hero nor do I intend to play him as one he is a normal man in a hellish world trying to survive. I only mention any of this because people get iffy about characters like this so I just wanted to put your mind at ease. I just like complex characters mind a lot more then physical. Anyways hope you enjoyed the read.

You're right down the road from the apartment building where about five of the characters are.

@Neo Anderson Accepted. You don't need to list food/water under belongings though, as they aren't permanent.

So never mind about the 4-5 zombies, it seems there is a bit more than I had originally anticipated! And hunter pushed Cole (bully). It seems like the chaos has begun.

So this is a new thing, mainly because the recent event IC reminded me of it, but generally (in the future, that is) try to keep the number of zombies you introduce in a scene to five or less. Just for the sake of realism, when it comes time to killing all of them.

Alright, I just wanted a reason for Hunter to be stuck in a situation of fear basically unarmed to his first thought.

@Remipa Awesome You're fine! You had a valid reason for it. Just run it by Pirouette or I in the future, please! (You didn't break any rules, this is just something I forgot to say originally).

@FortunesFaded Yeah I was a little unsure about your zombie ruling. I mean, realistically, a number above four or five is substantial, considering conditions. (Unless you carry an assault rifle I suppose. Or a shotgun. Or some other assault weapon of that nature.) but anyways, I was debating on whether this was real life related or walking dead related. Because in walking dead they kill dozens of zombies like they're made out of paper, and only a huge swarm really dampers them, unless they sneak up on them. You know?

But thanks for the clarity!

Haha, yeah, that's a valid point. I'm trying to walk a fine line between realism and TWD here. Either extreme kinda kills the mood of a good zombie roleplay. Too unrealistic, and there is no cause for alarm amongst the characters (zombies no longer even become antagonists, just minor inconveniences). And too realistic, and all creativity is stifled. All the characters are sitting in a safehouse covered in bubble wrap.
