As far as an origin goes, I am currently living in Birmingham, AL, a medium-sized city that holds a university specializing in medicine and hospital tech, with the second biggest major being probably engineering. The city itself holds several hospitals and plenty of doctors, along with the med tech engineers, something that could be interesting in regard to the 'digital virus' idea.

Another question... Are digimon in the real world going to be sized as in the movie? In other words, does Greymon = Godzilla?

I don't have a particular lack of art supplies for any reason other than that I rarely use them (engineer major). @Cynthx As long as you are good with ok quality images, I can find some color sticks somewhere. If you would really like to see intricate illustrations, however, I may require assistance.

@Cynthx I was asking more if it's multiple back-and-forth trips or once they're Digital they don't go back. I'm okay with whatever setting, as I live in a sleepy middle-of-nowhere in the northeast U.S. with a significant percent elderly population. I just need to know if we're using local-only or international Digidestined, and if it's Japan, Europe, North America, etc.

@Sheeny @Windicator How about something different then Tokyo. We could base it off of one of our hometowns :p My hometown is Loveland Ohio, a rather small place compared to Tokyo. Perks of using a place like that would make Digimon a bigger thing towards passerby. If you wish to keep your location details classified i understand, for those brave enough to share it be appreciated, could make for interesting RP


Well, I live in a small rural city in Ontario, Canada, which is about one hour south of the small town hunting and farming community I grew up in. Both places are pretty small. My hometown has less than 2000 people, and the "city" I live in has 40,000. I guess this would be a similar situation in a place like Loveland, Digimon would be all over the news, etc. It would be a huge deal. So small towns like that could give an interesting effect to human/digimon interacting.
Which would be a cool idea, like, the digidestined don't get a break. The townspeople and digidestined get into conflict. Etc.

Tomorrow is definitely the day i post the thread, since it seems that Sleepy Town in the Middle of Nowhere in the Northeast of the US is winning.
Guess that leaves a lot to the imagination with a town that vague but that's fine with me. I know who the main main bad guy for the RP is, and question for @tobiax We'd really like it if you can confirm your human and Digimon.
To answer your question, yes it's fictionalized sorta, especially with a place like this, it might end up being 100% fiction rip

Wow. So, like, no one voted for their own? Or did someone. I didn't. Anyway, let me see all the Digimon that are here and I'll get things started. Technically already that Mushroommon in potentia, as the RP in which they're being played doesn't guarantee what form you get, and it's based on care.
How do you feel about Gizamon>Cyclomon>WaruSeadramon>Gaiomon?

I believe we were full the last I heard with (maybe) support roles available to interested parties.

and while it hasn't been claimed yet the RP has rather tried to get away from the "meta" lines by letting you make your own with the existing digimon (that would preferably make sense) as far as that actually goes.

It is not up to me though.

On your line, i'm impressed that someone actually wants to use the Gizamon line, i encourage the use of this line greatly, but if you could confirm the Fresh and InTraining forms, it will be perfect. Hope i'm not an idiot but have you made a Human yet?

By the looks of it, my concerns of having too tight a schedule at the beginning have proven to have been pointless by the virtue of me getting on holidays on Saturday.

@Cynthx I voted for Canada. Anyway, Bukamon for In-Training, probably Pichimon/Pitchmon for Baby. Unless I go Botamon>Pagumon. May make more sense to go with Botamon -> Pagumon, only because of Gaiomon. Yeah, I thought something aquatic would help the group, and when I saw WaruSeadramon was connected to two of my favorite Digimon, I slapped Gizamon on and ran with it. Still thinking of a human character. But I have an idea for personalities, or two ideas.
