I think he's asking less if it's allowed, and more if the site population would be accepting of it, because you know...spoilers since I can only assume Shade's probably of a mind to jump into a New Trilogy piece instead of some of the older films.

At least I assume so, since that's the only way the question makes sense. There's plenty of other existing Star Wars RPs up on the site as is.

@JDolanIt could be placed between Episode 6 and 7, seeing as there's a lot of freedom for that unvisited time period.

The thing most here, but far from all, have trouble getting comfortable with is RPs using canon characters. There’s certainly few people who have problems with those merely sharing the setting but not using canon characters. RPers who can play a Canon character truly right are rare finds. Unfortunately, so far as we have observed, most of those who do try, fail. Many of the ones that might do it right, won't.

There will be quite a few RPs set around episode VII the coming weeks. The challenge is doing it right. If you don't, it'll die. If you do, it can live for years.

We suggest narrowing the scope, as SW is too vast an universe to cover in any one RP.

@Shade you could ask a mod to move the thread, if you feel like.

To be completely frank I love the series, but I am not sure whether an RP could do the universe justice. I may embark upon an RP. Then again, I may just look for an existing one that suits me.

Always looking for more players in our Star Wars RP. We think that there are a few other long-lived ones running too. Joining one could inspire your own concept too. A great Star Wars RP needs a spark to become what it deserves.
