To answer both your questions, yes. Though in the case of the ghostly solders, only War-Mages can summon them; Your War-Mages have to pick if they want to create ghost (Professional Units) or Corpse (Conscription) solders. They honestly just march with the army and act like any other unit you have, so if you order them to be the vanguard, they are the vanguard.

Yep, BrigtOps pretty much hit the nail on the head. The only thing is that the Magi and War-Magi who are doing the conjuring have to be in the same province as those that they have raised from the dead. So if you send all the undead into a province, your Magi/War-Magi have to go with them.

Though the Pualirian Empire more than anyone else should now be aware of the threat the darkness threatened it was suspected they would attack outwards rather than ask for aid.

Maybe, through there are other factors at play that will decide relations; At the very least their not naturally inclined to kill each other live Necromancers/Divine Worshipers are.

Just took a look at your post @Mardox, and if you're wanting to use your whole navy for that move then you still have five ships you can fill if you want even more troops, as by my maths you've only filled 55 Ships
