In Depth Appearance:Dominic is made of ice. Born and raised in the colds of Minnesota, he is built strongly at about 6’1 and about 210lb of nearly all muscle. He has chocolate brown hair and hazel eyes. Dom is not overly muscular however, with a somewhat stocky build. Quite often, Dom will grow a thick beard and let his hair grow out wildly when travelling, he only shaves it off if his boss tells him too so he looks relatively clean when serving drinks at the bar. His clothing style is very basic, often dressed simply in jeans and a buttoned down or plain t-shirt. He wears brown boots most of the time and always has his brown leather watch on his left wrist. He wears black thick rimmed glasses to read.

He does not waste his words on idle chit chat but instead only speaking when he has something worthwhile to say. He is eloquent and rarely uses foul language. Although it’s easy to speak to Dom, it’s extremely difficult getting anything personal from him. He is more than happy to help any of his friends with an issue and it is true that more often than not he is the one they turn to for help but when he is the one in need, he shoulders the burden alone and withdraws from everyone around him. A lot of the time, it is like Dom is detached from the world, like a wise sage you go to for advice as he is perceptive of your wants and your needs but yet is an enigma to himself. Dominic is happy to lead a quiet life, staying away from parties and just chilling on his balcony with a beer or watching the game with a pizza. When life gets too much for him, Dom simply grabs his snowboard, hikes into a mountain and stays there for weeks at a time with no word to family or friend. Solitude is his oldest friend. A self admitted neat freak, everything in Dom's apartment has a place and he will know if someone has moved anything and there will be hell to pay if you have.[.hr]D E F I N I N G M Y P A S T
History:Dominic Mason was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Raised in the countryside on a farm; Dom’s early life was very simple. His life was a routine of early mornings, feed the animals, milk the cows, tend to what needed tended to, head into town to sell what they could and then back home in time for supper. It was a quiet life many would crave, Dom from a very early age, always felt like he was destined for more. This relatively tough early life instilled in him the drive and determination many of his generation lack. This isolated upbringing also stunted Dom’s inter-personal growth. The absence of friends around him meant that his social interactions left something to be desired. He desperately struggled to form any lasting bonds with anyone so he found solace in music, often just sitting with his headphones on rather than talk to people.[.hr]
Although Dom did attend high school in the city, he still struggled to fit in. After a while he began to enjoy the solitude and began to pursue solitary pass times like swimming, climbing and he eventually graduated to mountaineering, often going off on long trips with his father to traverse the harshest mountains the US had to offer. Eventually, Dominic developed an interest in trying out for the Olympic Ice Hockey team having grown up as a standout in pee wee and amateur leagues and at the behest of his gym trainer, he began to hone is skills and train hard. Dom was well in with a shot to be picked for the Olympic team but sadly, during a routine training exercise, Dom suffered a massive cardiac arrest. He survived and after testing it was found that Dom suffered from HCM, a heart condition sometimes found in young athletes which puts them at risk of sudden heart failure.
During his time at the rehabilitation clinic, the young man struck up a friendship with another patient named Jason. Jason was a former soldier who had been struck by some shrapnel and was now unable to walk. The two men became fast friends, even to the point that whenever Jason skyped with his sister Noelle, he would allow Dominic to join in the conversation. After a while, Noelle began skyping Dom by himself and the two developed a close relationship, finally it felt like Dom had found a friend. She even sent him a watch which he never takes off.
Once he left the rehabilitation clinic, Dom returned to the farm. Still believing there was more for him out there, he decided to uproot his life and leave the colds of Minnesota for the sun of California. Having managed to make a nice nest-egg for himself working on the family farm, Dom got himself a nice apartment – shared obviously since he isn’t made of money and a job at a bar on the same street with his boss even allowing him to flake out on occasion to go climb a mountain. His friends in the other apartments often call him the mountain man, as he seems more comfortable in the middle of nowhere than in a crowded place. Right now Dom is struggling to find anything to do with his life, he’s waiting for inspiration.MISC .
Extra:My favourite activity is walking my dogs
Anything Else:- Only one person (TBD) in all the flats knows about Dom’s heart condition[.hr]

Major:Biochemistry
Minor:Psychology
In Depth Appearance:Tas is a beautiful young woman with striking features; bright almond eyes, high cheek bones and a slender body. She has pale skin but it can make her look overly tired if she is not careful and she tries to conceal the dark circles under her eyes with either heavy make-up or glasses.
She does not so much have a style of clothing but more of a lack of style. If she is not in her scrubs or sweats she will usually just be in various t-shirts or tank tops and jeans with worn out tennis shoes. She refuses to wear dresses and if she has to attend a formal event for the hospital she will wear a pant suit or tux just because she wants to. She was once gifted a pair of heels, they were quickly chucked out the window of her apartment.
Her hair always seems to be a mess, even when she spends hours styling it; which she rarely does. Most of the time she just tosses it up in a bun or ponytail and runs with it; figuring she can better spend her time doing anything other than messing with her hair, like binge watching the last three seasons of Game Of Thrones in one sitting.M Y Q U I R K S

Personality:♦ Compassionate ♦ Abrasive ♦ Scrupulous ♦ Opinionated ♦To say that Tas is a driven and complex individual would be a gross understatement. Once she puts her mind to something there is nothing to stop her, except for herself. A loving person under the cold surface, she feels far too much and usually only expresses it in the worst possible ways. She will do everything she can to help someone but tends to be a bit too blunt when voicing her opinion; especially if she sees someone doing something she knows is the cause of their own heart ache.
Tas grew up quickly, never really going through that rebellious teenage years since she was so focused on her studies. This has led her to be somewhat immature when it comes to emotional things, hardly ever having dated when she was a teen or since. The few relationships she did have ended badly, quickly breaking up with anyone she felt deeply for; too afraid to grow close to anyone in fear they would one day leave. To her, it is better to be alone than lonely; sadly she is both these days.D E F I N I N G M Y P A S T
History:Tas was born in Chicago, Ill to Everett, professor of history, and Anna Brinne, a housewife. Life was simple and wonderful until Tas reached the age of eight when her mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. For a year she watched her mother quickly fade no matter how much radiation and chemotherapy she went through. Tas adored Anna and didn't know how to cope with her mothers passing. Her father wasn't much help in the situation, distancing himself from his daugher after his wifes death; Tas looked too much like Anna for him to be able to deal with the loss. They drifted apart and Tas turned her feelings inward, focusing at a young age on her studies to try to take her mind off the problems at home. Her father enrolled her in Tae Kwon Do in middle school to try to help her come out of her shell but it ended up doing the opposite. Not having to deal with a team and only having to focus one on one helped draw her even further into solitude; one good thing coming from it; it gave her a way to vent her frustrations.
When she reached High School she made the decision to go into medicine and focused all her time and effort to getting into Med School. She did well enough and graduated high school with honors. Thanks to her fathers position at University of Illinois she was offered a full ride. One which she turned down, the last thing she wanted was her college years to be tainted by her fathers presence on campus. She was accepted into UCSF medical program and quickly packed her bags, moving to the west coast.
Her father was against the move, not wanting to loose his daughter completely but he admired her drive and supported her on the surface; promising to pay what she needed until she finished her residency. Tas enjoys the west coast, having found a place to live, a place to practice and a place to learn; all without the harsh Chicago winters nipping at her toes. Tas finished her bachelors degree a year early, opting to attend during summer semester so she would not have to return to Chicago during breaks, and is now interning at UCSF Medical Center to complete her doctorate program in emergency medicine.M I S C .
Extra:Tas enjoys nothing more than after a long day to go down to her Dojan and practice her forms or get in the ring and fight until she has barely enough energy to make it home and crawl into bed.
Anything Else:Tas has dedicated her life to save the lives of others, she could not however bring herself to become an Oncologist; it hit far to close to home. Instead she picked Emergency medicine, either she can save them or she can't. It is all decided within a heartbeat there on the ER floor, you don't have a chance to mourn a decision because there will always be someone else right behind your last patient that needs you now.

Okay, anyone has any notes or anything for Tas, pm me and we can work on relations, ^^
@HushedWhispers So, um, I would really like to try this, if it's okay. ^_^
@HushedWhispers Just stick me somewhere, I don't care where in the apartments, LOL

So basically, this is Friends.
For real though, it sounds like a ton of fun.
@HushedWhispers lmao, 1b works perfectly
Hasn't been quite the same since an old friend turned up on their doorstep two months ago when he was supposed to be in college far, far away at Harvard. No one knows why he's there, and most generally think he's weird. And sometimes downright evil. But they all still adore him, and he gets along terrifyingly well with everyone, too.
<Snipped quote>
@HushedWhispers So I picked this apartment b/c no one else was brave enough to ask: Who is this mysterious roommate? Is he an NPC or one or your characters?
<Snipped quote by Raxacoricofallapatorius>
LOL. Well, I was going to make him then I hoped someone would make him then a lot of other things.
So, he can be a NPC if no one else takes him. I have a different idea for my guy character.
<Snipped quote by HushedWhispers>
Well being that Benj is a college dropout and kinda weird, he almost fits the profile. He could be freeloading for the time being, and his roommates always have to pester him for rent money. It's something I could definitely see him doing XD
