Vellorita had been traveling for a few weeks now and had just passed through a village that had been so kind to trade herbs for bread and cheese. A stream provided her with water and she was looking for a place to rest and eat her meal. It wasn't long until she came upon a wall. Vellorita had not noticed she had made it onto the royal grounds of a palace. Curious, she scaled the ivy that clung to the wall and went over it. On the other side she was met with a field and an almost desolate appearing palace. Taking a bite of her bread, she continued on across the field until she reached a garden.

Ramia began pacing back and forth in the room, now that she had managed to calmn herself down at least slightly she began going through the events and tried to come up with what had annoyed the prince so much. The black haired woman began examining the room and noticed the covered mirror and portrait. "Guess it would be impolite to peek..." She shook her head and placed the bundle of swords on the floor and pulled the cloths away from both the portrait and the mirror. Ramia tilted her head slightly as she examined Hatchi's portrait. "Well, I think I know exactly why he's so easily annoyed all the time."

@Wicked Axel Maisie's offer seemed just the solution to the little animal. Navaeh nodded. "Thank you, Maisie. I think that could work." She hoped they both wouldn't spill the hot liquid on themselves.

@KahleenCuthald Maisie nodded her head as she uses her to lift the tea kettle by its handle using her tail. she slowly walked over to the cart and placed it on the second shelf, which was the highest of the three shelves of the kart she could reach. "do you need me to help with the tray of snacks and cups?" she asked curiously as she tilted her head.

"Ahh, yes, we haven't had 'people' arouund for a long time. It is a miracle that so many are coming now. I wonder what's going on in the town that they all come now?" Grey wasn't sure who Marco was looking for now, but Hachi had just nudged Belle out of the room. "If you're talking about that girl, she just left with Hachi. I think her name is Belle too." Grey had just remembered Aria was starting as a servant now as well. Felix had probably given her a job of some sort. Grey was still a little excited from everything to calm down and return to his tea, so he decided to find her out. "Marco, do you know where Aria is? She's the girl that came in with me before the incident happened." He spotted Felix across the room as he finished asking Marco where Aria was. "Oh, Felix. Wait, have you given Aria any chores yet?"

Rex slowly uncoiled from his luxurious place at the fire, sighing. Well as best he could, since he was a snake. Unsure of what to do next, since Felix wasn't around to give him orders, Rex decided he would go into the garden and memorize the flowers that were there. That way he could easily and quickly replace any wilting ones. He was proud of his creativity and productiveness and decisively squirmed into the garden. Tulips, roses, some other flower he didn't know, shoes. Wait shoes? Rex looked up from the shoes he'd bonked into at the wearer. A women with strange clothing and copious amounts of hair. Very pretty. "Are you another ssservant?" He asked curiously.

Nyra flew around the halls, carrying a feather duster in her little clawed feet. She flew past the different paintings and art to dust them. Sometimes she would double over them just in case. Really Nyra just wanted to look busy so that bossy little cat, Felix, didn't get onto her again.

Vellorita had been admiring a patch of her namesake flora when a voice penetrated her musings. Looking around and not seeing anyone, she looked to her feet. It was a snake. But surely it could not have been this snake that spoke, after all, she had never encountered such a thing before. After living on the countryside, raising three boys and traveling on her own, she was not afraid of natures bearings, but respected them. She took a slow step back from the snake, whose species she did not recognize, and inspected it closer.

Rex returned the girl's inquisitive stare with one of his own. Maybe this was one of those slow people who didn't understand things very well. He should talk simply and slowly then. I iss Rex. Who iss you?" Being pretty on the outside really didn't mean you were smart. His tongue flicked out and touched her boot again. Tasted like not here. A traveler? Maybe he should get someone else to deal with it. Surely Felix or one of the nice masters could handle it better than himself. Rex was getting a little cold again. Now that he'd memorized the flowers he should have a nice nap by the fire. Mhmm warmth...

Already concerned that he had just let a potential disaster duo walk out of the room together, Marco hurriedly went to follow to the best of his ability. Unfortunately, he didn't manage to get very far before he found himself being questioned yet again. "Greykin, I still don't even have a headcount of how many people are here at the moment. My requirements are very simple: I need up-to-date information on current affairs and sufficient resources suited to the tasks if you want anything done about them. I have gone the entire day provided with neither. Should I see this person at any point, however, I shall be glad to direct them to you." Giving a nod to the curious elder brother, he rushed off in pursuit of the two supposed troublemakers once more.

There were so many people, Felix couldn't keep all the names straight. He had no clue what any of the princes' names were, he had always just called them "master". He knew their names before the incident of course, but now he had gotten them all mixed up. This much commotion was rare.
"Aria..." He mulled over, staring at Belle. He had already given her a chore, so they must be talking about the other one...
"No, Masters, I have not given the other one a chore yet." He said simply.
"Would you like me to?"

Vellorita blinked once as the snake started speak. Sure, the talking snake was quite curious but that was not what she picked up on first. "I am Vellorita." She said bending at the waist so her hands were on her knees. She admired the glossy skin and glassy eyes of the snake. Vellorita had seen many curious things in her travels, however this would be her first talking snake.

She was staring at him a lot. He knew that he was magnificent but this was perhaps a little rude, certainly it would be if he was still human. Vellorita. Wasn't that a flower? Oh right it was right there next to her. It seemed like Rex was going to have to lead this conversation by the horns since she didn't appear to talk very much. "Are you here to work for massterss? Or jusst vissiting?" Rex asked, hoping that asking two questions at the same time wasn't too much for the girl. Rex was hoping a little for the just visiting, he didn't think she'd make a very good servant, but she was pretty so maybe the masters would like her visiting.

Vellorita crouched to hear him better. "No, I'm not a servant." She glanced up at the castle with interest. "I suppose that makes me a guest." And it would be very nice to stay in suvh a luxurious place, if only for a while. "Are you a servant? Or perhaps the master of this castle?" That was one of the few questions she had for the snake named Rex. "How do you talk?" Was the second.

Rex shrugged, or at least as best he could, since he was a snake. "I sspeak like you do." he said simply and considered his next course of action. "Need to tell massterss or Felix about new guessst. Followsss me." Rex hissed commandingly and wriggled away with surprising speed and dignity. Had to put on a good show for the guest. He entered the building and saw that no one was there. Hmph. He was considering where to look next when he saw Nyra flying around. "Nyra!" he yelled as best he could at the bat girl to get her attention. "We hass a guesst, where are massterss?" Rex would have to find out what room she was going to be in and get her a flower for it. Only the dinner table had flowers, all the other flowers wilted a while ago and he hadn't replaced them yet. Lots of rooms. Lots of flowers.

Vellorita followed him, hands clasped behind her back as she took care not to step on his tail. When they passed the threshold she took in the many rooms, the wilted flowers and something flying above. She turned her attention back to the snake. "If you speak like me," she began, "Do you simply chose to speak wrong?" Vellorita knew she was not the best educated, as she rarely had enough to spend on the luxury of books. However, she was genuinely curious if this Rex fellow simply could not, or would not, speak properly. She strode over to the dinner table and handled the dead flowers gently, clucking her tongue at the sight of them. "Are you all animals?"

"No, I was actually just wondering where she went. That's fine though, I'll search for her myself. Grey walked off searching for where she could have gone. He started at the kitchen and only found busy sevants. He moved on to the bedrooms, but didn't find anyone there either. He searched the library, the lobby, the dining hall, the offices and even the gallery. The only other place was possibly the attic. He went to the hall and noticed the ladder to Faris's attic extended. The ladder was only extended if Faris had a visitor. He wondered if Faris was talking with Aria? With a bit of excitement he quietly climbed up the ladder to find what he could see.

Aria wondered around the attic. She wiped her finger on the wall, pulling back to see dust. She figured this place hasn't been used in a while. But that was that smokey fog coming from that she saw.
"Hello?" She called again, a bit nervous.

Nyra glided down to the dinner table, setting the feather duster down.
"Hello Rex!"
The little bat looked up and saw a human girl. Squeaking with delight, she jumped into the air excitedly. She flew over to the new girl.
"A guest! Hello!"

Rex frowned, well as best he could, because he was a snake. "I sspeak normally." He hissed in reply to the flower girl's first question. "And only sservantss are animalss. Massterss are... different. And nicce human sservant arrived today." Rex thought about it. There was at least another human girl somewhere around here. He wasn't quite sure though. "Nyra! New guesst needss to be sshown around. You're fasster than me and I need to get more flowersss. Can you sshow her around?" Nyra was much more suitable for the task and seemed excited about the human guest to boot, so it was two birds with one stone. Even though Nyra was a bat. Hm.

Nyra nodded with a smile. She looked over the girl, flying around her a couple of times. "Well... My name is Nyra! You met Rex. Oh!" Nyra thought of something. She needed to inform the princes of this new girl's presence. She might get in trouble if she doesn't.
"Oh, you need to meet the princes first! They kind of are in charge."
