@21308Kavi will just be hanging around in the general area, possibly meditating or conversing with a spirit if one if the swamps are nearby. Other than that, it's up to you.

[...] The game's plot is meant to take off in Republic City. The last time I tried this I got everyone's okay to put them there and start their character's storylines off in a way I thought made sense. Do you guys think that would be okay this time around, or would you prefer I just do an opening post and let you figure things out from there?

With this many people it is hard to say. I think we each should make a list of what our character would be doing at any point in time. Mundane things like drinking at a bar or browsing an antique shop. (Or something with more spice, who am I to say) Then we find out where the overlap is. It would probably be best to spit the party at most points in time. Keep us in groups of three or four as much as possible. Conversations become hard to hold.

Would it be alright if I put my character in the CHAR tab and add personality and bio later? I'm still not sure what kind of character I want him to be or where I want him to have came from.

I don't see a problem with it. The where they come from ties into a back story which I have always felt can be revealed in IC but it is not my call on wither you need it since that is the GM territory.

I can however say that it is perfectly fine to move it into the character tab and add it in if our GM wants it.

@Simple Unicycle Backstories are optional so it's well and good.

@ZeroEnder010 Splitting people up into smaller groups will probably be a good idea, but at the very beginning at least I'd like to have everyone together, have an 'everyone meets everyone' moment and set up the plot. But yeah, you're right that it will be difficult to do that starting off which is why I'm asking. Having your character start somewhere doing some mundane task is fine with me though.

Okay people I think we've waited long enough. I've only gotten a couple of suggestions for what I should do for an opening post so we don't really have anything like a consensus, I'm just going to go ahead and write the best one I can.

Whew! That was a bit of work but I think it went okay, hopefully everyone is satisfied with where I put your characters to start off with. Also if I somehow forgot you please let me know, but I think I got everyone. Also @Eodwyn Aether I just noticed that you don't have your character in the character tab, so if you could put him there that'd be great.

@rocketrobie2 No, if you don't mind waiting your post is perfectly alright.

@ZeroEnder010 Haha that does sound fun.

@Gisk You can do whatever you want, part of why I responded to Jalika first was because it will probably take a little longer to get the people to Republic City who I couldn't justify having start there.
