@Everyone else: Any American fellows want to co-gm this with me? You don't need to worry about the NPC system or anything like that; I just think it might be wise to have someone here who can resolve any issues, and accept new characters, when I'm busy sleeping. I'm British, so there's a good six+ hour difference going on between the Frengo Mainframe and the rest of the world. 

It's not necessary, but I guess it might help in the long run :D

Yay, I have a fancy little orange tag thingy on my posts now, I feel accomplished. Now just four more steps and I'll be ready to declare myself Emperor of the Planet for Life.

Or something. I admit to not being drunk, but considering what day of the year it is that can change. Probably not, honestly all liqueur I've had tastes terrible and getting drunk doesn't seem worth the foulness my tongue has to go through.

Anyways, if things need somethinging I'll be around.

Alrighty, who's ready for some monsters? I am! I'm going to roll for half the characters... well, 3 of them, as we have 7 so far.

So 3 of us are going to get visitors in the near future. I'll work them into your stories as best I can, but ultimately, be prepared to have your little plot derailed by the arrival of evil stuff :D

Evil Stirs!

Roll One

Character: #5 @neogreggory

Monster Roll: 3

Section Commander Arth Bek's impromptu beacon has aroused the interest of three werewolves. Even now, they are sprinting towards the castle, snarling and howling in anticipation of locking their jaws into fresh meat. 

The beasts are tough and durable, and though silver is the quickest means of dispatching them, they can be felled by mortal weapons. They typically surround their prey, and use hit-and-run tactics to disorientate them before going in for the kill.

Three actions available:

Talking to them:

Any attempt to reason with the beasts will be met by mocking laughter, and the occasional "We hunger for your flesh!".

Running away:

If successful in escaping the beasts, they will hunt your character tirelessly from one end of the map to the other if needs be. Once a werewolf has locked onto a prey, he/she will not relent until the hunt is complete.

Fight!:

The werewolves are expecting your character to defend themselves, and will use their pack-mentality to tire, disorientate and cripple them, until they are weak enough to take head on. Additionally, they are known to toy with their food, which can convey an advantage if their prey is deadlier than they first thought.

Roll Two

Character: #3 @MrMinerGuy142

Monster Roll: 5

Gunsō Haruka Kazuko is being stalked, by the ghosts of his enemies. A squad (12) of zombiefied American GIs are watching him from the undergrowth. Their uniforms are putrid and gore covered, their flesh pale and cracked - or bloated and veiny. Maggots crawl across their eyes, and pour from the wounds they sustained in life. Their weapons are rusted and useless. 

They await the perfect moment to jump from their cover, and beat the hapless Japanese soldier to death with the butts of their decrepit weapons.

Three Actions Available:

Talking!

If spoken to, the zombified GIs will scream out "You killed us!", "We HUNGER for YOU!" and "SINS OF A NATION!" in perfect Japanese.

Running?

They can be out run as they are slow movers, and once Gunsō Haruka Kazuko remains out of their vision for more than a few minutes, they will vanish. However, they may return at a later date.

Fight!

The zombified GIs are slow, shambling zombies but who have more coordination than your average walking corpse. They will grip, pull, tear, punch and bite Gunsō Haruka Kazuko if they get the chance; however, they will simply try to overwhelm him, and beat him to death with their rotting weapons.

Only a headshot or dismemberment will kill them. Upon death, they will whisper "Thank you" in American English.

Roll Three

Character: #6 @Framing A Moose

Monster Roll: 1

A small child - a girl - no more than ten years of age, is curled up and weeping loudly just off the path on the north side of the bridge. Her clothes appear tattered and caked in mud, but her blonde hair is immaculately clean and styled into ringlets. Her face is obscured by her cupped hands. 

Actions Available:

The girl will not respond to anything your character says, but will merely keep weeping.

If your character touches the girl in an attempt to get her attention, then she will remove her hands from her face, revealing one giant mouth full of razor sharp teeth - no eyes or nose, just teeth and jaws. 

She will immediately lunge at your character, and attempt to chomp into them!

If your character is able to restrain the girl, or escape, then she will simply vanish into thin-air.

The girl will simply vanish, if your character decides to ignore her.

I think I really love Gunso's monsters, just for the fact it's his own memories returning to haunt him, also a plus on Moose's.  Can't wait to see what's in store for poor Dani.

@Elora There is no such thing as a stupid question. Well, I suppose there is, but the one you asked is not.

You don't have to use a character that already exists, you can make your own.

@Frengo, I don't believe anyone noticed my addition of a Roman CS, "Legionarius Marcus Nerva", I was about to make a post for him when I noted that he was not counted in the total number of characters. I'm just bringing it to attention before I actually make an IC post with him so I don't cause any problems, he's currently in the Characters tab.
