With a victory pose, Vlad was standing there praising himself and looking at the teacher to see his reaction. After throwing the dowel away he didn't put any attention into the girl. "Maybe she'll cry, maybe she'll be mad, eh who cares. Who cares about kids??" he thought with a grin becoming wider and wider.

He then clapped his hands as of to clean them and looked at the teacher again, "So mister K, how did I d-.." before he could finish that sentence he suddenly heard the kid yelling and before he could turn toward her something hit him in the arm, exploding. The shock-wave sent him against the wall dropping most of the weapons on the wall, one sword nearly missing Vlad's face by inches. "Ooof... What the fuck???" he yelled out, partly dazed, partly furious. His sleeve on his hit arm was gone and the arm itself was slightly burned and bruised. He slowly stood up, arms being covered in fire and him staring furiously at Madison. "You little shit won't get away with this!"

Madison

She slowly walked towards Vlad as if she weren't afraid of him, but she honestly felt a bit scared given that she didn't know how good of a fighter he really was. Madison knew she wasn't the type to look fierce. In fact, people always commented otherwise. Her hands were balled up fists up until the time she opened them and with that, flames appeared around them. It was then Vlad managed to got up, albeit looking bruised and battered. He proceeded to shout a half-assed threat at her, but Madison ignored it.

"What's the matter, Vlad? You look a little winded..." She gave him a smirk, stopping a few feet away from him and gauging his body movements for any sudden attacks as Madison readied herself to go on the defensive.

Markus panted loudly feeling tired after his ordeal. The teacher was able to get to markus and get rid of the energy he was producing at the moment. He relaxed as he laid on top of the water with his electrical rival. Guess what the teacher said about his power being self destructive.

"How dare she??? That little pipsqueak? To attack me???" Vlad was getting angrier by the second. The flames around his arms were getting fiercer, more intense. He looked at the girl, she stood there, ready to fight. Her remark was the last drop, he would go all out on her. "You do have guts for someone your size" Vlad said while slowly pointing his hands at her " For that reason I won't hold back".

Vlad then while holding his right arm stretched and pointing at her, pulled his other arm back with the flames around it getting more intense and then pushed it forward, releasing a huge amount of fire. He then swiftly did the same with the right arm. Sending 2 huge fireballs at her. His wounded arm was painful, after moving it like that the pain became much more intense. "She hit me when I wasn't paying attention.."

He was somewhat predictable. Madison smiled a little as she saw him get ready to launch a fireball at her. Even though it was a bigger size than she had originally anticipated, she was able to easily dodge it. What she wasn't prepared for was the second one, which caught her off guard. She tried to dodge his second attack as well, but it grazed her on her left shoulder and upper arm. The impact forced her to lose her balance and fall to the ground, her immediate reaction being to cry out in pain and slam her fist on the floor in frustration and anger. As she collected her thoughts, Madison saw a shiny object from the corner of her eyes. It was one of the weapons from the display that Vlad had knocked down when he was hit. Madison would have loved to use it against him, but she would be expelled from the academy, or worse...

"You're going to regret that," she finally said, lunging at Vlad to hopefully give him a nice scar on his face.

The fact that she easily dodged his first attack and nearly dodged the second greatly impressed Vlad. Not many people were able to move like this back from where he came from. She was agile and skilled for a kid. This almost made Vlad loosen his focus as he valued skill greatly but remembered what kind of a little bitch she was and was back to his focus.

The second fire ball scrapped her shoulder giving her a nice similar wound to his. "Don't mess with me you little shit!" Vlad yelled out before focusing more fire on his arms. But before he could notice it, the girl was already lunging at him with a friggen sword. "Damn she's fast" he thought while dodging the slash and jumping at her with the intention of disarming her and pinning her down.

"Students of blood are not trained the same way as the other students."

The head practitioner of the infirmary told his young new student. Few people came to the medical wing of the school as students, instead they were often patients. Those that did something foolish in their training and suffered an injury.

"I know your father has given you some training already, so lets send you on a route across the school instead. We've been in session for a bit now, so go do your rounds and get familiar with the grounds and aid whomever might need treatment."

Gus shrugged and nodded with the chief of staff before leaving the office and down the halls. Second years were coming in in an hour so first year classes were cutting soon for lunch. The first stop for the big lad was the fire teachers office and current training room, one Mr.Kessinger.

Gus knocked on the door and entered in the same motion, announcing himself loudly.

"Hello! Mr.Kessinger?"

His voice was deep and booming. His upper body was rounder than a majority of the students, a trait he cared little about, and resulted in a very firm tone.
Gus stifled a scream as he saw the girl with the sword pinned by the male student with the wounded arm. Before he could register the movement himself, Gus took some heavy running strides and balled a meaty fist. The blow was hard and even, practically a cannon, as the big mans sheer force blew Vlad from his lofty position. Putting himself between the girl and her tormentor, Gus stood firm.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!" He growled.

Madison

As she struggled against Vlad, Madison's attention was stolen when a rather large figure rushed towards the two students. She looked to the side and followed his movements, witnessing the heavy punch that could very well kill even the toughest of competitors if they were hit in the right spot. Madison sat up, the sudden wave of guilt hitting her like a thousand bricks. She absolutely hated this side of her, how the use of fire made her rage so uncontrollable, she might as well be a ticking bomb.

"I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper. She glanced over at her teacher with an apologetic look and stormed out of the room. Once outside, Madison checked her burnt arm and couldn't help but flinch as her light touch caused her tremendous pain. With a worried look on her face, she began to pace back and forth in front of Mr. Kessinger's office. Madison felt anxious at this point as she wondered what repercussions awaited her. Even worse, she was worried about Vlad.

After successfully managing to pin her down, Vlad didn't have much trouble keeping her down, she was a small girl after all. But a damn good one. His arm was more painful than ever, blood coming from some parts. The class was slowly starting to burn, and Vlad wondered what the hell mister K was doing, that useless turd. But the fact that he let them fight without intervening was some sort of test? Was he trying to look how good we were by that?. "Godamn I should have tried harder.." Vlad thought.

He then looked at Madison again, she was trying to break free and Vlad was about to release her, thinking that they fought more than enough. He was also impressed by how well she fought, something you couldn't say often about a damn kid. "Let's stop fi-..." But before he could finish these words, something heavy hit him full on the face, with the force of a damn truck. He was sent yet again flying, and hit the same wall again with his back and head. His nose being blue and blood starting to gush out, but the adrenaline making him ignore the pain, he tried to slowly stand up again. Partly unconscious he looked up from where that heavy blow came from and saw a huge fat man. his mouth was moving, but Vlad couldn't really understand what he was saying. His body slowly being covered in flames, he was standing up "You fucking.... fatass, what the fuck is your probl-..." but before he could stand up, one of the smaller weapons on mister K's wall of collection fell down. It was a small hammer, which hit Vlad's head knocking him out cold.

Kain was kneeling down with one knee in the grass, his fingers firmly massaging and testing his now soothed calf muscle.
'What the hell was going on!'
He thought to himself as he saw things he didn't understand and watched the headmaster do some things he didn't think possible.
Dusting himself off Kain brings himself to stand and jogs over to Markus. He approaches carefully like the kid was a delicate time bomb.

"What the hell was that!? Well, you got anything left or you giving up already?"

Kain only waits a moment before starting to jog again. His elemental energy still burning in his body, making him fidgety and anxious.

Gus sighed and dropped his guard, crossing both arms across his chest. From the way the lass ran it seemed like this had been either a mutual fight or she had instigated it. That and this was the fire class, he reminded himself, so fights like these were common enough as he'd been told. Something about the element they wielded made them all volatile powder kegs. No sense crying over lost time. Gus turned to the teacher and shrugged rather sheepishly, cheeks red with embarrassment. Kessinger knew why he was here and Gus figured he should do his job and leave as fast as his legs could carry him.

"Sorry for the trouble, sir."

Gus approached the downed figure of Vlad and examined the wounds he had suffered. Burned arm from a fireball, a nasty bump on his head, and his nose was likely a whole new kind of pain for the lad. The big man at least had the sense to be ashamed of himself for striking his fellow student unprovoked.
Getting to work was simple as Gus placed his hand lightly on the area of the burn and felt the blood respond to his command. Normally blood worked pretty basic, carrying oxygen and clotting up to stop bleeding, but in the hands of a wielder of blood energies it could be stimulated to numb pain, ease muscles, knit flesh, even speed up the natural regeneration of the body. Though not as highly skilled as his father was, Augustus was still able to take away the pain from Vlad and reduce the swelling from the hammer entirely. As for the burned arm, that was a bit trickier. Focusing on the boys own blood, Gus sent its natural healing process into an accelerated pace. Within minutes the boys burns were starting to fade.

"That's about all I can do for him, Mr.Kessinger. I apologize for the disruption. I'll see to the young lady in the hall about her own wounds and send her back in after."

--------------------------------------

Gus exited the office and closed the door behind him without looking ahead and practically ran over Madison.

"Sorry! Sorry! I didn't see you!"

Gus held both hands up like he was being robbed. Obviously a bit flustered and a tad bit shy, he shuffled past the girl into the hallway before taking a deep breathe to calm himself. Not a day into his own classes and already he had injured a student.

"Apologies, miss. I-I'm sure you didn't.. uh.. need any, you know.. help." Fumbling for words and fidgeting his hands, he continued. "T-the wounds you suffered today. I can fix them for you. I mean, if you want me to, some people prefer to heal naturally, and I totally understand that! But again I would be happy to be of assistance."

Gus was already sweating like a stuffed pig and a bright red, though if asked he would say it was a warm climate area and deny his own feelings of extreme nervousness in the presence of a young lady.

"No, it's okay, I..." she sighed, feeling rather foolish for her aggressive behavior in class. "I'd rather just let this heal on it's own, although I would gladly accept some form of ointment and a bandage to keep it covered." She looked down at her wound and agreed with the fact that she would deal with the slow recovery as a constant reminder to not lash out again, or make the attempt, at least.

"I'm Madison," she added, holding out her right hand to greet the shy young man. "Is Vlad okay? I must admit that I was the instigator in our fight, so I would be glad if you could show me the way to the headmaster's office after we take care of this arm."

Even though her words said otherwise, Madison obviously wasn't looking forward to meeting the headmaster under these circumstances, especially within the first few hours of class on her first day. Who knew what her parents would think of her, and she couldn't help but frown at the thought that her siblings wouldn't let her live it down. With those thoughts in mind, Madison's heart rate increased a little

"Shall we be on our way or do you have something else to do?" she asked him, not wanting to interrupt his plans, if any, as she already felt enough guilt about everything else.

Markus panted loudly as he got his breath back he still couldn't believe that happened. His power went haywire he could have killed people if it weren't for the headmaster markus power could have hurt innocent people. Markus smacked his first to the ground defiant in ever letting that happen again. He was going to be a lightning master how could he earn that title if he couldn't handle being out of juice.

Markus looked up to see kain come over looking at him like markus was a bomb ready to blow. He then asked if markus was done, markus would have answered if he didn't leave immediately. Markus slowly moved from his fists to his legs he slowly stood back on his feet "I'm not done yet" markus mumbled as he started to walk at first and once he felt he had enough strength he got into a jog not wanting to be done just yet...

Elbritas smiled as his two students duked it out. This always happened when you put two fledgling first year firecrackers in a same room together, without fail. Although he was about to break the fight up when it started to get bad when a young man, presumably the new Blood student Gus, on his first rounds, entered the room. He watched as he cried out in shock and delivered a swift blow to Vlad, throwing him against the wall, wincing as the Heritage Collection was slammed into once again. He needed to get a case for those made or something. He watched Madison rush out to leave the room, and made sure as soon as the kid fixed up Vlad he'd go talk to her. "Pay no mind Gus, this is a usual happenstance for the first class of my first years." Since Vlad's wounds really were not that bad off it was a quick job he left his office to a somber Madison and Gus being shy and awkward. "Madison, please come back into my office, I have the ointment and bandages you require. Don't worry, you're not in trouble." He put a hand on her non-injured shoulder and guided her back into the office, sitting her down on the chair behind his desk.

Before he patched her up, he moved over to the collection and gingerly picked up the weapons that had falled and placed them one by one back onto their displays. He pulled open a drawer and withdrew a roll of bandages and a homemade burn ointment in an ornate jar. "As you can see, I've become well prepared for such things to happen. One kid's always full of bravado or piss and vinegar and causes a scrap. Neither of you will be punished, because this all winds up being part of the lesson. Just in future, if you're going to deck him in my office, please try to avoid the wall with weapons." He said with a wink. "Now, would you like me to treat your injuries, or would you rather do it yourself." He didn't want to make the girl uncomfortable with an older man she had just met treating her wounds.

"You can go ahead and treat it, Mr. Kessinger. Apparently you've done this plenty of times before, and two hands are always better than one." As he started working on her wound, she looked over at the organized display on the wall before shifting her eyes to Vlad. His unconscious body lying on the ground bothered her more than it should, possibly because she was the one to blame for it all.

"I'm sorry about your display, I really don't know what came over me. I don't want to be transferred out of your class, but it won't come to that, right? If Vlad and I can't get along then I'm sure we both can still have you as our teacher, just not during the same session." She winced as he applied the bandage and it made contact with her battered skin. "I know, I kept dragging this out. You said I'm not in trouble but I'm unsure of how to proceed from here, although I should probably just let you do what you do best, right?" She looked at him and gave him a hopeful smile to show that she wasn't the crazy person who had cause this entire mess.

Kano Hargor

-------

Kano kept a close watch on the students throughout the lesson in the fields. Helping the young Aether student experience a higher understanding of the subtleties of the elements, a lesson that he would later in the year turn the scope to broader ideals like the pulse of the land itself. Not just singular moments and experiences.

The lightning students had recovered and continued to deplete their stores of excessive and potentially lethal electric energy. An exercise in futility, as they would both learn, considering the more they moved the more energy they would create. Their lesson was to be aware of limitations and control.
A lesson that Markus had learned on the edge of disaster. Valuable knowledge gleamed, Kano hoped.

As for the water student, Luke, the challenge of calming the waves while keeping your head above water was difficult. Kano had only given him one hint and was surprised the bright young man had not divined the meaning. Hold your breathe was meant to help him when he went under the water as it violently trashed.

It was also so he could stay under the water, where the violent trashing was minimized. The deeper he went down into the 6 foot pool the gentler the rocking was. From there it could take only a few minutes to calm the raging storm above.
Kano had calmed the waters and helped Luke out after about a half hour. Drying off in the warm sun took mere minutes. During that time, Luke was asked to meditate on the answer to the challenge for next time.

Chen had done excellently on the crafting aspect of ice creation, though the scale was about 1/10th what Kano originally had in mind. But rather than fault the boy it was clear that the teacher hadn't given explicit instructions. So a passing grade was in order.
Though Kano did remind himself that if the boy was late again, there would be a harder obstacle than making a doll house out of ice.

The class progressed on without any further issues until the ring of a large bell echoed from the mountain, 12 loud clangs, signaling that it was exactly noon. It also meant that it was lunch time.

"Ok. Settle down." The lunch bell always got students rushing. "Classes are dismissed for the day," Kano grabbed the back of Chens coat and dragged him back into the cirlce. "Sit down, I'm not done. Now. The cafeteria is next to the dormitories to the north. Follow the road until you reach the colored buildings. Be sure to look forward to announcements at the end of lunch, as you will be receiving your dorm key and roommate name."
Kano clapped once loudly and simply exploded. In a shower of cool water, revitalizing and refreshing after the long day, he was simply gone. The only trace that he'd ever been there was the damp soil where he had been standing.

------------------------------
------------------------------

The dormitories were consisted of 3 buildings. Each one was painted in a mosaic of different colors. Every year at graduation the students were allowed to paint whatever they wanted over the exterior to celebrate. To date, thousands of markings covered and overlapped each other. Faded and old markings and pictures still visible even after their generation was long gone.

The building currently still in the sun was a simple square building with two windows evenly spaced every few feet. A gigantic 1 was emblazoned visibly onto the wall. The first year dormitories.
Behind it was a similar looking building with 2 stories instead of only one, again emblazoned with the number 2. A more elaborate building with brick walls and a balcony. You could just see inside to view the polished hardwood floors and marble counter tops. Fully furnished.

In the distance was the three story number 3 building. From a distance it was hard to make out the inside of the building but it was obviously the more esteemed building for the third year graduates. One could only imagine the luxury of the building.

In the center of all this, a building following something akin to roman building designs, with tall columns evenly spaced out. Two thick oak doors with silver detailing was the main entrance to the building. Four stories high, with a gargantuan open floor in the middle that could fit every student and teacher comfortably.
The food was provided by local establishments, every student was given a voucher for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. All you had to do was go to one of the establishments, tell then your order, and hand them the voucher. The school itself paid for the lunch materials or in some cases helped provide them entirely. The actual labor was put in by business owners who volunteered to put up an easier to access venue for convenient access to students who were on a schedule.
It promoted community growth and stimulated kids to try new things they wouldn't normally have the opportunity to. It was just one of the ways that the school encouraged its students to learn more about the world around them.
Cuisine from every corner of the globe was brought here and put on display. Volunteers were often seen helping in the back or working with the establishments at their home businesses.

Teachers were given their own private area that circled around the second floor with a clear view into the students eating area.

It seems like Luke himself still couldn't get the 'enigmatic' hint, he spent alot of time on the raging waters itself before it was made tranquil by the headmaster. He was instructed to meditate on the answer, and that he did. The words rang and echoed in his head endlessly. He thought to start from the literal base and meaning of it,

If I take it literally... should I have gone deeper in the waters... Luke thought to himself, then he remembered a lesson from his Uncle. Another enigmatic teaching, well not really,

"The harsher the waves, the farther you should go."

Luke sighed to himself in disbelief, did he really just have to go deeper in the waters where it was more calmer to have an easier time. The thought of him not being suited popped up in his head once more. It makes sense, the raging waves only appeared on the surface, the deeper waters looked to be... well, calm.

Before he could ponder any deeper, the bells rung true and loud. A symphony of twelve hits cascaded and echoed throughtout the area.

"Ok. Settle down."
"Classes are dismissed for the day,"
"Sit down, I'm not done. Now. The cafeteria is next to the dormitories to the north. Follow the road until you reach the colored buildings. Be sure to look forward to announcements at the end of lunch, as you will be receiving your dorm key and roommate name."

With those said he clapped his hands and poofed out of existence. Well, poofed somewhere else probably. Luke waved his hands and witht hat gesture, removed the excess water present all over his body from the trial, so he could dry himself before dressing up. The thought of him failing, even with the very easy hint presented towards him just soured his mood as he put on his clothes.

Listening to the instructions he followed the road, until brightly colored buildings entered his peripherals. It was a bright gush of colours, livelier than he had anticipated. He fished his pockets and pulled out the voucher given to him earlier in the day.

Morning, afternoon and night, was it? Three meals a day, hm.

He leisurely trekked towards the cafeteria, a myriad of different cuisine from all over the world. Damn it was true that this place's reach extended long and far, and Luke already missed the cuisine from his old home. So he handed in his voucher to what looked closest to his old home's cuisine, he smiled a bittersweet smile as memories of him and his Uncle laughing and cheering whilst eating the very same food. It was food from the East, similar to Japanese cuisine; known as 'Sushi'.

Although walking to the tables, he found that the stray whispers still lingered in the area, and so Luke opted for an empty table and chair, but this also exasperated the situation since now he was also called a 'loner' or something, well he didn't really mind. After remembering the pleasant memories of his rather besmirched past, he now thought of his current situation and skill, the thought of his own inadequacy also etched on the back of his mind.

Well whatever, for now he could eat by his lonesome and worry about those issues later.

"Neither of you are being transferred out, and you're going to remain in class together. You two WILL sort your shit out even if it kills me." He said in reply to the worried girl, as he wrapped up her injuries properly so that the bandages wouldn't loosen accidentally. "As for the display? Don't worry about it, gonna take more than a couple of punks tussling in my office to damage those relics." He patted her on the back and stood up, stretching his arms with a groan. "There, all done." The bells rang out for lunch to start. "Better go get some grub kid, the cooks are amazing here. I'll send Vlad along after he wakes up and I've had a talk with him." He wanted to find out what made Vlad tick, to see if he could talk some sense into him so he'd stop trying to antagonize Madison, and quite possibly most of the students in this school.

A black silhouette appearing to be a man, walking circles in a small dark room. Another black silhouette, appearing to be a woman, sitting in the middle of the room, with her head down. The circling silhouette kept saying words, angry sounding words but incomprehensible. The voice seemed to get louder and louder to the point of the man walking toward the woman and hitting her repeatedly. The woman did not retaliate, instead you could hear crying, getting louder and louder, so loud in fact that it was unbearable to hear.

With a deep loud sigh, like getting out of the water after spending some time under, Vlad woke up sitting up. He was sweating considerably, and seemed out of breath. His arm was still hurting, but much less than before. It also looked less red and burned. He had trouble breathing through his nose, as every breath hurt it. His head felt painful as well but nothing was there when he touched his head all around.

He quietly observed his surroundings as his brain was still waking up and had to process what happened. When his eyes laid on the teacher and that little pipsqueak his suddenly remembered. He swiftly got up, dusting his clothes and looked up at the teacher. "Am I expelled or can I get out of this place?" He asked, with his rude typical tone. He looked at the midget with a look of "I ain't done with you". But something suddenly shoot his head inside. With rising rage, he asked with a much louder tone who the hell that fat guy was that attacked him out of nowhere and where the hell he is, so he could kill him.

Maxim was among the first to be in the teacher's lounge on the second floor, mainly due to the astounding lack of Techmental student leaving him little to do anyway, not that he minded of course as far as he was concerned dealing with little-to-no students was more a blessing. Despite that he was here overlooking the student's lunch area, he may not like dealing with them much but that doesn't mean he's entirely uninterested in seeing who they are...that and he was bored.

His attention was drawn back to the actual area as students began to enter at which point he stood up and walked up to the railing, resting his hands on it and just observed.
