"Excidium?" He stroked his beard. "Well, it's either that or..." Fade looks over at the main building, being quite torn between the angry power hungry kids or the loud smoke filled cesspit. It's not that it was bad but there were far too many people in such a small place. Before he could answer a small blonde figure bounded up to Zevrox.

When the childlike being looked at Fade he could feel some sort of force permeate the air, more of the energyborn. "Fine, I guess." Fade yawned again then mumbled, "more walking though."

Asael puffed up their cheeks angrily at Zevrox, tucking their arms around their chest. "You're so mean! I don't stick out! And all the errands need people over twenty one... You just don't want me going out." The pretty blonde pouted again, turning away with a sad huff. They were laying the guilt on thick.



"Oi, I'm the only cheeky one here." The woman chimed in cheerfully, though her eyes flashed to the door once again. "They're really taking their bloody time, aren't they?" Where is everyone...?

"If it makes you feel better, you can join me on my way to Wellingtons Refuge." Zevrox snorted as he popped his fingers. "I'm sure that they would love to see you again. Well, besides Jerry... But who cares? Jerry is rude to everyone!"

"Aw, afraid to share? Anyway, you can say that again." Nate sighed as he put out his cigarette. "It could be worse, however. I mean, it's not like some high rank from Libertas is joining us. ... I feel like I just jinxed us."

Fade looked down his nose at Asael, he never really cared for kids so he didn't know how to feel about one that wasn't one. He turned his eyes back to Zevrox and sniffed, "So, what was this assignment I've heard so much about?"

"It is rather simple, really. All you have to do is go down to the Infinity club and attend a meeting there. Simple, yeah?" Zevrox turned his head to Fade. "Also, we got you a ride to the Infinity club, it is at the base of the mountain."

"Now, do either of you have any more questions or are you both ready to go?"

Drowsily the now hunched man tilted his head, "Ride? I didn't know we had something that could go anything near what someone would call fast." Fade was almost eager to find out, even knowing he shouldn't get his hopes up with it being anything other than a regular automobile. He began dragging his heels towards the base of the mountain.

The hazel eyes lit up in delight as the teen attacked Zevrox with a hug. "Yay! I get to go with you, hehe!" Asael nuzzled the man's side in joy before finally releasing him to walk along beside him, each step almost a skip. It was pretty easy to make them happy, wasn't it...?



Patty gave him a solemn look, sighing deeply. "In that case, this will be more maddening than expected."

Zevrox sighed and rubbed the side of his neck, looking at the youth for a moment. He really has to find something to do on the trip. Maybe he can steal more comics from Leeroy (Jenkins) again. He shrugged before he started walking after Fade. "By the way, I'm driving until we get to the sewers entrance."

"If Libertas does join us for this meeting, I think it would be best if we left." Nate crossed his legs. "I do have to agree. I doubt any of us would want to be in a room with someone who could have us easily disposed of for the most moronic reasons."

Fade replied almost instantly, "You can drive the whole way if you want." Half heartedly waving off his comment without turning. The man was containing the most monstrous yawn but it could wait until the start of the journey, "We expecting any resistance at all or with this be nice and easy?" The man perked up slightly knowing his future resting relied upon Zevroxs answer. "I mean we expect a certain amount of fighting, it comes with the job but what's the likelihood of shit kicking off?"

"Nah, you are gonna have to drive once we reach the sewers. As for the likelihood of a fight breakin' out? Pretty low unless you start trouble." Zevrox shrugged as he rubbed his left thumb across his palm. "Anyway, good luck with that meeting."

Asael looked back at Fade as he mentioned fighting. For a moment, a smile cracked the pretty face in an almost evil grin seemingly at the thought of hurting someone, but as soon as it appeared it was gone again. The blonde held Zevrox's sleeve in a childish way, humming sweetly as they skipped beside him. What was with this kid?

"Z? Can we get to fight too? I'm bored, pleeaase?" Sparkly hazel eyes gazed up at Zevrox in a cute puppy-dog way, pouting adorably.



"Afraid I cant, dear." A little smirk played on her coral lips. "Unlike you chaps, I'm only an underling. I don't have much of a choice." Patty shrugged half heartedly.

"We probably will fight before we try to return to Outpost Aetius. I'm sure you'll be able to find plenty of people to hurt you little sociopath." Zevrox snorted before patting his head.

"Well, good for you. I'm sure you'll have plenty of fun with Libertas. Heard that they have a great prison to get diseases in." Loyas crossed his arms and looked at the clock.

The vehicle came into view, nothing too fancy but nothing near shoddy either. It was obvious that its whole purpose was to fit in within the city, the best friend of a rebellion is cloak and dagger and you can't stand out for those tactics.

As Fade opened the door to the back of the car he felt a massive wave of malice pass but before he could even react it was gone. It was nothing he had felt before but made sure not to react, if it was gone then evidence of it would be gone too so he sat in the car quietly and tried to look as unfazed as possible. Fade rolled down the window and shouted at the two lagging behind, "Hurry up. Geez, and they call me the lazy one."

Asael pouted again, releasing his sleeve. "You make me sound like I'm mean. I just want to do something for the group already~" They purred, hopping into the backseat alone and swinging their legs joyfully.



A hand was placed over her mouth again as she laughed. "It's not like I want to. I simply don't have a choice in the matter." Patty seemed completely unfazed however. It seemed nothing frightened her.

"Well, you are mean." Zevrox chuckled before climbing into the driver seat. "Always givin' those puppy eyes. You are true evil incarnate."

"And why don't you have a choice?" Nate raised a brow and looked at her. "Surely it can't be you're afraid of what will happen if you do leave. It's not like you're going to get tied up and flayed in public. Then again, there is that one time..."

Putting his feet up and his hand behind his head Fade closed his eyes, but though he tried sleep would not come. Something still bothered him, that feeling...how could something like that be emitted and retracted in such a small frame of time. He couldn't focus on this anymore as being distracted could be fatal, but made sure that he was going to be prepared the next time it showed up.

"Nehh, don't say such things~! You're going make me sad!" The blonde got on their knees just so they could lean forward far enough to hug Zevrox from behind the car seat. Asael sat back, looking towards Fade. They gave a cute grin, reclining in the seat before stretching themselves out across the backseat to get ready for the somewhat long drive. They were so small and thin... Could something so seemingly innocent really be that dangerous?



A thin eyebrow cocked in response. "As I said, I'm underling. I was told to come here, so I did. I'm merely following orders."

"And you did come here." Nate shrugged and placed his arms on his lap. "I'd say if Libertas came you would have fair reason to leave. Besides that, you could always lie to your superiors. I do that a lot."

"I could think of worse things to say if you want." Zevrox snorted before pulling out the keys to the car and starting it. "I could also go to Slavic mythology and compare you to things in it. There is so many things to compare you to in it." Zevrox glanced at Fade to see what was going on with him before he started to drive.

Halfway through the journey to the sewers Fade jumped up quickly and pulled out his revolver, opening the cylinder and putting the shell casings into the chambers. Knowing this may be his last chance to ready his weapon. He spun the cylinder back into the revolver and holstered it behind his back.

The blonde had already fallen asleep, curled up like a kitten in the back seat. The eyes snapped open when they heard the revolver, the iris a bloody red color. The brilliant shade died down back to hazel, Asael sitting up with a piercing glare into the back of Fade's head, but soon closed their eyes again and curled up against the door instead.



Patty gave an almost cruel grin. "I'm not that type." She leaned back in her chair, running her fingers through her dark hair boredly.
