Half being an ass, and half coming from the South - where a rad-storm had been. Judging by how old I made my guy - and ghouls in general, I think he could 'feel' if a storm is approaching.

And its one idea, I thought up - of how to have the two characters maybe interact together?

Duncan is technically 85 years old, being two when the bombs dropped but has only been unfrozen for a total of 22 years so that's what he is physically/mentally.
