"Lyn tells me a platoon of vampires are heading our way. We ought to leave or decide to fight.

Valerian stood near the group, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. He turned to Jean.

"Jean, have you ever thought about leaving instead of dieing whilst taking down some vampires? One may be cowardice but it is the smarter option; you'd understand that. What if the vampires were to overpower you and instead of killing you they'd do what they did to Aya to you? Some might not think of vampirism as worse than death, but you definitely would. We should leave. All of us."

He paused momentarily, as if Lyn had spoken to him.

"Of course, there is the chance that if we stood together and fought with the idea of helping one another we could become victorious. Yet that is your choice."

Rai turned around quickly at the appearance of Valerian, "If we include Guren, there's five of us who can fight." Rai looked to Jean "That is if you're in a good enough condition to fight." he looked to Valerian and smirked slightly "I wouldn't call those great odds, but it sure as hell beats running away from both vampires and the JIDA."

Jean shook his head, smiling. "You all really are suicidal. And Geng healed me. I'm quite ready to fight." Jean's face became one of seriousness. "Guren can't know about Aya. Oh, and I call the platoon's leader. I'm essentially completely healed." He adjusted his uniform and stood up straighter, sheathing his blade. "I can't wait to freaking lop their heads off."

Mita walked over to where the voices were coming from and seeing the group. She raised an eyebrow at them. " What happened?" She asked expecting them to give her an explanation, though she had a feeling they wouldn't tell her the truth. "What can't Guren know?" She asked throwing out what she heard about the conversation. "You can't keep something from him. Your working for him! Are you stupid?" She said directing most of it at Jean.

Jean turned to the girl. "If you don't shut the fuck up, I will personally kill you before you whine to Guren about anything." He unsheathed his demon weapon and peered at the girl. "Well, ignore what I just said. I'm pretty distressed, considering someone who I thought was dead is a vampire. I'm Jean Teim. And you are?"

Jean shoved his blade into his sheath roughly. "Pleased to meet you. Also, why haven't we seen you earlier? Are you even part of our squad?" He asked, curious. Jean ran his hand through his short white hair, nervous. "And you should probably go. A whole fucking platoon of vampires is coming to kill me." He sat down. "Wow, that just fully registered." He grinned. "I must be important!" He joked, winking at the others.

Mita half rolled her eyes as she put away her weapon. "I don't know, maybe it's because your completely oblivious!" She stated the sarcasm in her voice. She shook her head. " I am part of the imperial army not necessarily your squad-" She cut herself of as she the second part of what he said processed in her head. "What? There's vampires coming here now? You brought them here?" She pushed back a piece of her hair. "What in the hell did you do?" She half scolded. She eyed behind her and sighed, changing her mind. " If there after you then get in the town and go into hiding or be useful and go and wake everyone up. Standing out here ain't going to do you any good. What are you stupid? Even if there only after you your putting everyone else in danger and now your putting everyone in the town in danger!"

Eleanor was around, but she was just listening to everyone. She looked at everyone and sighed "You all have a point, but we need to decide. Either we stay and fight till we die. Or do we make a run for it and die another day. Yes we do work for Guren but is Guren telling us the information we need to know?" Eleanor shakes her head as she notices the new girl "Oh hello! Please dont leave me with this maniac" She points to Jean as she hugs the other girl "My name is Eleanor, people usually refer to me as Ele though"

Jean turned to her. "The only reason I almost died is because you're a fucking traitor, Ellie. You fought for a vamp. And she was fighting too. I could kill you anytime." Jean was serious, he knew the extents of the demon he was controlling. Combining his and Geng's powers was dangerous work. "If you'll excuse me, I have vampires to kill." Jean started to stroll into the forest, sighing at the sun that was almost done rising.

Jean laughed. "That was once, Ellie. Then I left you guys until the escape, which was the best decision of my life." He continued walking into the woods, taking it slow. He was only about 30 yards in, and still looking feverishly for vampires. "I'll kill them all. And I won't let anyone get hurt." He realized he had said it out loud and shut his mouth quickly, hoping no one had heard him. He continue searching.

Rai stayed out of the brewing argument between Jean and a girl who he did not recognize. She'd came out of nowhere and immediately began yelling at Jean, something Rai was about to do himself. The discord between his squad mates plus the impending threat of vampires was not a good combo, so Rai stepped up to try and resolve the situation. "Look strongest or weakest link, it doesn't matter! We need to focus on what's important right now! The fangs will be here any time now, so we should make our choice. Stay and fight, or flee for our lives, those are our options."

Mita jumped out of her wits when ele hugged her. "Okay nice, get the hell off of me. " She complained as she pushed her off. Once she was off she shook her head. "I don't do hugs and I wouldn't expect any soldier to either." Mita turned her eyes to Jean. "Tell me to shut up one more fucking time and see what happens. I don't need no sleep, you sexist dickwhole. You'll kill them, is it possible for you to say something more redicoulous than that. It usually takes a group to take on one even with cursed gear. Get a grip onto reality won't you." She turned away from him as she sighed. "Where the hell are you going now? Are you trying to die because I could make that wish come true now instead of waiting for the vampires." She shouted out a twinge of hopefulness in her voice. She looked at Rai and sighed," He's right..." She mumbled to herself.

Jean growled. "Hey Mina. Where are your parents? Guess what. Mine are fucking dead." He continued walking. "And I've killed more than thirteen just by myself." He sighed. "Listen, I'm fucking sorry ok? I can't let anyone become good friends with me, because they'll get hurt eventually, and then I'll have to wallow in sadness. So, you better not try to downsize me, because you have living parents, I'd guess." He whispered all this to her, a grim look of determination on his face. He began walking back into the forest, his blade in hand.

Mita went tense as he brought up her parents. The memory's that she tried so hard to shake off,of the night the disease happened, hiding in the dumpster. It was her step dad that saved her, and was the only reason she was alive. Then after that how he died, along with the wife she'd known as mom, and once again it was her fault. She huffed, pushing the thoughts out of her head. "Don't just make assumptions about peoples parents! You know nothing!" She shouted. "You think not having a parent makes you have an excuse? Well your dead wrong!"She glared him. "Who said I'd ever want to be friends with a jackass like you" She spat.

Huh. That Jean is like a loose cannon. He'd make excellent fodder in an operation. Or better yet, imagine if he was turned. That'd be interesting.

He tampered with the display on his gauntlet, until something that resembled a GPS came up.

"We have around 5 minutes. Give or take a few. Better choose quickly."

Jean backed away. "Alright, I didn't know. And I never said I wanted to be friends with you either, snitch. Why don't you go and whine to Guren about it?" He taunted, then turned around. He continued walking deeper, but made sure he was quiet and hidden. He eventually stopped in some brush that would give him cover. "Perfect." He muttered.
