Really? I'd have expected Ranma 1/2 or Yu Yu Hakusho. You know, something that had a martial arts or tourney focus.

Can't say I've watched Ranma 1/2, but I definitely recommend you watch Yu Yu Hakusho. It's basically the definer for most tournament arc-related tropes, right up there with the original Dragon Ball.

I'm more familiar with fighting games like Mortal Kombat and Soul Calibre, though I'm quite the DBZ fan! ^^

In any case I can work on a char sheet but I probably can't post until I get back from vacation on Monday, just a heads up.
