Jame's response helped put Cecilia at ease, and she gave him a relieved smile. Her fears earlier seemed spot on: if she hadn't said something, Jame's would likely have seen her as just another person who's afraid of his gifts. "Sure, I'd like that," she said, brushing a few strands from her forehead. "I've been looking forward to seeing what this camp has to offer." She momentarily looked out into the trees, already building excited expectations of lush scenery.

Helena stretched her neck our a bit and stood as the others did. She caught Cecilia and James move together. How many times had they done that today? She didn't want to bother them since anyone with eyes could see whatever they were talking about it was personal. Helena moved over to Aki and Valencia. "Do you guys like hiking?" she asked, trying to strike up some small talk.

*James nods as he walks over next to Cecilia, looking out amongst the trees* "Ya I can't wait, and get to be around more people that are different like me. Not meaning that in a bad way of course! But I mean I just met you and it seems Neric already seems to be trusting you." *His hand twitching a bit as he looks at it, holding it up to his chest and listening in his head* "Careful boy, don't be going too quickly too soon about anything." "Alright, alright. Don't worry everything will be fine, just try to find some way to have fun ok?" *Talking to his hand infront of Cecilia, but knowing he showed her Neric. James would hope she understands what he is doing, looking back at her* "Sorry about that, but what are you hoping they will have at this camp? In terms of an activity or such?"

Cecilia nodded, understanding, at least in essence, the nature of Jame's relationship with Neric. From context, it somewhat felt like Neric had an objection about either her, James developing friendships with others, or perhaps meeting new people in general. Such concerns seemed prudent given their background. Then again, Neric could just be uneasy about the natural dangers that come with wild areas like woods and such. She kinda hoped that was the case. James's question caught her attention once again. "Hmm? I-I haven't been to many places like this, but I'm kinda thinking of hiking, of course. Maybe rock climbing. Although the more I think about it, the less I think I'd be up for something like that," she said nervously near the end, kind of hoping there wouldn't be something that terrifying involved. "So... what do you think we'll be doing while we're here?"

"Hiking would be nice yes. *James smiled as he listens to Cecilia, hearing her out about what she would like. Though the thought of heights scared him a bit, never liking heights. Thinking about her question as he leans against a tree, looking at her after a moment* "I think I would really like it if there was a lake to swim in or along those lines. But if not then I think I would really enjoy a rock wall, just not rock climbing where you are... really high..." *James would say as he rubs his arm, showing his fear of heights as he looks at the ground before looking back at Cecilia*

Cecilia maintained her merry expression, remembering how he had mentioned before how he enjoyed swimming. She would have easily teased James about his aversion to heights if not for the fact that she shared that fear. In a way, it felt relieving that, should rock climbing or any such activity come up, she wouldn't be the only one afraid - although it didn't feel right to mention it. Her arms rested behind her back, her fingers twined together as she shifted between looking at James and at the surrounding area. "Do you swim often? I've only done it a few times for school, and only in swimming pools with clear water so I could see the bottom, never in a lake before."

*James would watch Cecilia's movements as she crossed her arms behind her as she looked at him and the area, he was curious. Did she wanna talk to him or was he being a nuisance for her? Hearing her question thought brought him out of that chain of thought as he speaks* "Actually I love to swim when I get the chance, it's soothing for me. And whenever I feel my hand in the water... he feels calmer as well. It's relaxing to be in the water and is something we enjoy." *He would have shown his right hand for the showing when he spoke about Neric in that sense, looking at her as he speaks his next thought* "But did you actually mean it? That me and Neric are cool? That we are amazing? I didn't think anyone would think that.."

Cecilia was contemplating the bond between James and Neric, when he seemed to ask the three questions out of nowhere. "W-what?" She was startled to hear that what she said earlier was being called into question. Was it really so hard to believe? "Of course I meant it," she stated as calmly as she could, though her words carried a sense of subtle sadness, her face lowering in like manner. "I don't care what others may think of you two. You both deserve to be happy just like everyone else. The girl you saved before knew it, right? Remember her?" Her eyes seemed to almost plead with him to remember the good they'd done.

*James would listen to her as she spoke, he wasn't trying to question her it was something relatively new to him. trying to speak up to defend his point* "I wasn't trying to question it or anything I was just-" *Though stopping as he hears her bring up the girl he and Neric saved, him grunting as he holds his right arm. His veins pulsing out in his right arm a bit as he speaks in a calming voice* "Calm down Neric... Calm down..." *His arm returning to normal as he looks at her, speaking softly in a rather sad voice* "Forgive him, it was hard when she died... for both of us... But I wasn't questioning your words, I'm just happy someone thinks that is all. I'm sorry for being a bit surprised."

Cecilia was visually taken aback at the revelation of the girl's death. She had no idea. She held her right wrist with her left hand, both over her chest. "I-I didn't know..." she started before shaking her head, not in the mood for any of her own excuses. "I shouldn't have mentioned her," she concluded, looking towards the ground. "You know... you don't need to just take my word for it... what I said..." she looked out and motioned towards their fellow campers. "I'm sure, if you gave some of them a chance, they'll come to see you the way I do."

*James would hear her out, not blaming her for not knowing about what happened. Him rubbing his right arm and wrist a bit as he looks at her. Nodding after as he sighs, thinking as he speaks* "You're right, I should give them a chance... what others have done shouldn't define who they are." *James nods as he looks at the ground, but then back at Cecilia. Smiling softly* "I'll have to convince Neric about this, but in the meantime... wanna be partners on the hike if that's a thing here?" *James would keep smiling, Cecilia not only was not stunned and scared of him because of Neric. But here she is trying to help him open up to everyone*

Cecilia breathed a sigh of relief as James looked towards the ground before facing her again. "Of course. That would be great," her answer ending in a giggle as she wondered how many times he'll ask her about going with him on the hike. Her hands lowering, she subconsciously fiddled around with the bracelets on her right wrist. It felt as if she could be doing more for him. But perhaps if she worked towards getting James more friends, then maybe he could be happy for both of them. Her eyes lowered momentarily, but quickly rose to accompany the warm smile she gave him. For now, she was happy just to be with him, looking forward to the days to come.

A hike through the camping area sounded good to Valencia. She would like to explore it. If the hike go's trough the woods would make it even better. It gives her also an opportunity to study the others. @1Hawkeyes Helena began to talk to Valencia and Aki who was standing near her. "Yeah, a hike sounds nice. It's good weather overall so why not." she replayed with a smile.

Aki looked at the counselors again and said [color=add8e6]"Ok thank you." Aki then looked around until he saw james. He saw that james was talking to someone he didn't really want to interrupt though. HE didn't have much of a choice in this situation. He walked over to James and said "Im sorry to interrupt you guys but the counselors said that i would be sharing a cabin with you James. Could you show me where it is so i can drop my bag off?"

*James would look to Aki, nodding as he smiles* "Sure, let's get going so we don't miss the hiking." *He smiles at Cecilia, giving her a warm smile before taking Aki* "I'll be right back." *Looking back at Aki as he would show him to the Cabin, along the way trying to make small talk with the guy. Just trying to be friendly* "So you think camp will be fun? Wonder what they may have for us to do?" *James shaking his head ever so slightly as he listens to the voice in, Neric just saying small things here and there about the cabins and structures. James rolling his eyes a bit as the Void talks about how they at least are sturdy enough, James chuckling a bit to himself. Though Aki may hear it, James trying to listen to both of them at once*

"Yeah, the weather is really pretty," Helena agreed looking at the cloudless sky. It was nice to feel the sun on her skin and breath the fresh air rather than be stuck inside with artificial light. At Aki's response, Helena pondered aloud, "I guess I never thought of it that way- as finding secrets." Once Aki walked away, Helena had her full attention on Valencia. "Have you ever hiked before?" She noticed Valencia seemed shy and didn't really want to ask too personal or pressing questions.

Valencia looked up to Helena when she asked her if she had hiked before. Well since she moved a lot she had the chance to explore the world a little bit, but it also made it that Valencia was never familiar with a place. This is what made her observe and study her surroundings and the people who are near her. "I haven't hiked a long distances but I explored a lot around where I moved to each time. So Yeah I've hiked before." Valencia said.

"Oh, so you've moved around a lot?" Helena asked, interested. Helena really only lives in one part her whole life and was familiar with nearly every part of her city, good or bad. She never knew how it felt to have to live in such an unfamiliar place. "Thats pretty cool, you must've seen a lot of different places and people."

"Yes, I have, but because we moved I've never had a chance to make friends really." Valencia replayed still with a little smile. She wasn't sad about that since she got used to it. Her powers never made her alone, she had always something to do. Valencia didn't want to make a false impression of her that she would be sad about her past, it didn't matter to her at all.

"Did you move a lot when you where younger?"
