@GarlandDaHero I've got a few Japanese names:
Kaijin - "God of the Seas"
Kenryu(u) - "Strong Dragon"
Yamato - "Mountain"

Chinese:
Qiang - "Strong, Powerful, Energetic"
Wei - "Power"
Zhihao - "Chivalrous Ambition"

Norse:
Agnar - "Terrifying Warrior"
Brandr - "Sword, Fire"
Fritjof - "Thief of Peace"

Asian names are there because of the Oni Savage's association with the eastern cultures of Hoshido, while the Norse names are there due to FE's frequent tendency to use Norse names and mythological references. For everyone's aid, there's a website I frequent called Behind the Name for when I'm making characters.

@Crimson Raven If you want in on the contest, it might be a good idea ;)

*ahem* Sorry. It was necessary to make sure everyone sees this post. Ryik and I have been working on a means of correcting the Base Stats and Growth Rates so that certain stats cost more and other stats cost less while building the characters. I realize this may mean reworking what you have done, but you may enjoy the rewards you can reap. This new Stat Weight System (abbreviated as SWS on the CS Spreadsheet) will give the possibility of a larger Stat and Growth Total. I will be working on implementing this to each of your characters, and all you will have to do is balance things out based on the prompts the sheet gives you. I do apologize for any trouble this may cause, but this should result in a much more balanced game that leans in your favor.

Sheets have fully been updated


please see spreadsheet and find your (updated) tab. I tried to do what I can (check any Personal Weapons), but a lot of you need to alter Growth% or Personal Stat Mods to fit the new system. If you can't quite get it I can help you adjust your stats a bit. Remember you can add/subtract 1% on growths to fit it a bit better, though your stat mods might need a bit more creativity.

@manapool1 you personally will need to add one point of stat mod to complete your char as well as 6% growth. However, 1 point =/= 1 point and 1% =/= 1%. Its more of a trial and error to hit 8 and 160%

Here's an example:

Every base stat point in luck is half a point. So 2 would equal 1 full point in the total on the right.

Much of the same with growth rates. Just halve the luck number and there's your actual percentage for that stat.

Might've gotten something mixed up but oh well.

I don't know if I understand. It says I need to be at Eight points, but the closest I can get to is 8.25 or 7.

at everyone:

we're looking at giving players up to 8.5 for the stat mod so people can fit in that 8.25 better. Just some cushion room for chars. We're sorta waiting on our GM though to make final rulings.

You can think of it like this: Each stat has a different cost now. You still have 8 and 160% to spend, though there's some leniency in the case of decimal spillover. (Which is why the sheet, which will round your growth rates, says you can have up to 161%)

I assume the same applies to 8, so going up to 8.5 could be okay, though Rethel might have something else to say about that.

The costs are as so:
Luck: .5
HP and Skill: .75
Strength, Magic and Speed: 1 (Same cost as before)
Defense and Resistance: 1.25

The ratios are based off of assets/boons and flaws/banes of avatar creation in the games.

7.5 to 8.5 total is fine. After having a couple of sheets I made easily make the 8 point cut-off I didn't realize there would be some difficulty with it, but that was simply due to a lack of trial on my part, so if it comes out to as much as a half a point on either side of 8, I have no qualms.

Not 100% sure where/when to introduce her, though. Are we allowed to have PCs start as enemy units and have another PC talk to them to recruit to their side? I'd assume not, but still.

If not though, I'll probably have her introduced during the prologue battle as a unit that joins a turn or two in.
