Nikko headed for the right side of the herd and managed to bring one down by the throat killing it almost instantly before running after a second one. He knew it he could get more then one that everyone would get enough to eat.

Gumu smiled as he led the way to the place he was talking about though he thought about visiting the gorge on the way there. "We'll be passing by the gorge if you wanna stop there before we get to the secret place." He was older and hoped he could get away with a bit of naughtiness.

Artemis smiled as Shupavu spoke. "Well a little birdie told me that one might have feelings for the other." She said trying to be discrete about it but also obvious as well.

Kalina smiled over at Gumu. "Sure that sounds like fun!" She said smiling at him her tail wagging back and forth excitedly. "We always have fun when we stop there." She said giggling.

Cyren had ripped into another by the time the slow stragglers had started off, and he looked up, his red muzzle parting to roar. He ran after the others, quickly.

Nikko roared as well as he landed on a second antelope with one long leap. He held down the animal as he looked for Cyren. If he needed to get more he would wait for the signal as he killed the antelope with his claws.

The signal was given as Cyren passed Nikko, taking down an elderly Antelope. "One more, Son!" He said, as he used his claws to end the prey before him.

Nikko smiled. "On it!" He called out before taking off as fast as he could. He managed to pounce on a third one grabbing him by the throat. "Got it!" He called out as he dropped the dead animal down.

Gumu smiled as they stopped when they reached the gorge. He remembered how slippery it was and if you fell down it, it was hard to climb back up. They were still cubs then though so of course their small frames couldn't climb very well. "Let's try staying above it this time, aye?" They were older now so if they did fall down again, climbing back out may be easier this time.

Shupavu smiled at her. "How about we make it official when Gumu decides on his own to pop the question?" He hoped she knew that he meant when his son ask Kalina to be his mate. "And that may take awhile, but I'm sure it'll be worth it in the end."

Kalina smiled and laughed as he said that. "Yeah thats definitely a good point." She said as she looked down. "That would cut a lot of time out of our day." She said smiling back up at him as she carefully walked along the path.

Artemis smiled as he said that. "I think that would be the best way to do it as well." She said smiling as well. "That would give me time to worry about having these cubs instead of trying to plan a ceremony for the pride to witness." She said with a small laugh.

Selina chucked as she watched him run, "Oh I love it when they run" She said as she shook herself in glee before taking a deep breath and rolled in the mud before following Roho. She had camouflaged herself so she could get him when he least expected it plus it gave her an excuse to get dirty.

Nikko could not help but laugh as he walked back towards the pride. He had been lucky to have a father like Cyren. He was always there to help him out as well as keep the mood happy.

Nikko laid the rest of them next to it. "That sure is a way to wake up in the morning." He said laughing as he stretched his back with a yawn. "I wonder what we will have to do next." He asked smiling.

Artemis smiled at Shupavu as she could feel the cub kick her stomach. "Ah.." She said softly as she smiled back at him. "I guess I will leave. I can imagine you have a busy day." She said starting to stand back up and walk towards the den exit.

Gumu carefully walked along the path as well. "Now onto that secret place I told you about." He replied as he made his way away from the gorge.

Shupavu smiled at her. "Right now, I'm just gonna go on my kingly patrol by myself this time and maybe make a few rounds, visit everyone in the pride today." He made his down the rock after her though he would change direction once he was close to the border.

Roho laughed as he stopped for a brief moment to catch his breath then continued to play with Salina. He started to feel like they bonding as they played together. Better than my sister anyway. He thought happily as he decided to go left to see how good she was if her 'prey' changed direction.

Selina had been pretty close when he stop to catch his breath. Her camouflage allow her to watch him without being seen or smelled. She saw him change direction and choose to humour him a little as she took a different direction which would still get her to where she though he was heading. It was a quicker route and she reckoned she would be able to catch him off guard.
