Dude, that's like the exact kind of look I was going for when I was thinking of concepts for Haede, do you mind if I use it for that?

Also DMC4 would have been goddamn perfect if they finished it.

I'm a bit more of a DMC1 fan if only because DMC3 has some tedious shit like the Doppelganger fight, those squid dudes that you couldn't attack for a while, and that mission where you switch the rooms in the tower around sprinkled in alongside the otherwise downright excellent gameplay, soundtrack, story presentation, boss fights, and the fact that they made that gem after DMC2 like god damn talk about bouncing back.

But as far as gameplay alone goes there's so much depth to DMC4 that it's a clear favorite for me, I've played through it like a million times and I still pick up new tricks every time.

Well, there's a bit about her in Serena's sheet, and I try to keep tight-lipped about this sort of stuff, but I doubt it'll come up that much in the RP proper, so what the hell.

Haede was a demon and (probably) one of Serena's parents. A lot of info about her has been lost to time, but what we do know is that she was a sibling to the two demons that currently make up Twinweave and would often clash against them, though it's disputed whether this was done out of any Sparda-style altruism or if it was just some petty power struggle as demons (and specifically that family) are often known to do. In the present day, she shows up in a few folk tales here and there, usually as a neutral trickster, but not always. She's a lot more obscure in the Twilight Fields region due to the culture's disdain for demons in general.

Some Choir experiments to determine what things like "souls" and "magic" really mean in this setting and what makes them tick, that would maybe require a person or two to make and/or kill a few people.


"This is creepy and I want nothing to do with this."

A product of a hollow attempt of demonic conquest that has left an entire island almost completely devastated, wiping an entire culture and ecosystem off the map and replacing it with the most dangerous things in the setting. The only apparent upside is a volatile economy kept in motion largely by opportunistic cutthroats and a few religious zealots who barely manage to keep these things held back.

Okey dokey, I'm tired and going to go pass out. Got a post up for Calieo, and will try to post for Tirnea tomorrow :)

Oh, it wasn't easy but I also managed to get a version of the map with a distance key. It's right above the compass star thing, and since people will be moving around soon I figured it was important to finally get that uploaded. Sorry to any Americans (cough, lavulman), but lets be honest the metric system is better.

Edit: I also added Vox to the front page, so if it wasn't official before it is now
