Does Torus have enough time to exchange verbosities with the Father before taking a much needed long rest?

Long rest? Oh, the final surprise will be here faster than that. Besides, not the whole long rest needs to be sleeping, one can easily have a discussion during one.

Hmm. We already spent our short rest time. I guess Orchid would just try to patch up his wounds or something and get some rest before the next job.

I'll mostly just post Orchid resting in the keep of that's fine with you. Eating, snoozing, and maybe even working in that drake hide some more.

Hmm. I was actually thinking of getting some more rescue operations done. Now that we have a reliable way in and out of the keep, I figured Kyra would want to keep saving as many people as she can. She'll have to be stealthy of course, solid snake style. This might also help her gain her ranger experience.

Hmm. I was actually thinking of getting some more rescue operations done. Now that we have a reliable way in and out of the keep, I figured Kyra would want to keep saving as many people as she can. She'll have to be stealthy of course, solid snake style. This might also help her gain her ranger experience.

You are free to request authorisation from the higher ups of the keep or just try to barge through the guarded sewer tunnel doors. You might also want to try and talk other people into joining you before you go anywhere though. It's a miniature warzone out there.

Apologies for the persistently weird delivery of Torus in the IC, in both scintillating syntax and enigmatic discourse. It is all intentional, I assure you. Just simply trying to match the style of writing with his backstory, of a cruel psionic poet possessing a pirate weed wizard. :)

I have to admit, it was unexpected, @Gordian Nought. There is undoubtedly room for conversation regarding it like this brief period of calm. I am curious how Father Falconmoon will react to all of it, even if a fair amount is curbed by the presence trying to avoid being singled out. That said, out of character I will be watching.

Phew! Hope I didn't disappoint, too much. Forgive, though, the flamboyant color scheme. I also subtly referenced different spells in the Flashback. I know it's daunting and confusing, including a real chess match. I can clarify with a mechanics tab for any and all those interested.

As you can tell Torus is seeking for not only a conversion but for any help! Greater Restoration, confession, forgiveness, and/or a mere absolution rite? Anything. The aim is to foreshadow and prepare his backstory for a multiclass dip into a Tempest Cleric 1 at the dénouement of this encounter, at our hopeful next level.

@Hekazu Would there be any problems as Kyra and Orchid tries to go out and find that prisoner to interrogate? I know it shouldn't be easy, but would anyone try to stop them before they leave?

The guards at the lower door have strict instructions to not let anyone from the inside pass unless notified otherwise in order to reduce the risk of spying and/or selling out. Of course, this is not public knowledge, but so the thing is.

If they want to make sure they can go, they should more than likely consult some higher up in the keep, Governor Nighthill being the absolute leader as you well know.

I will probably be able to post next on Saturday, since it's getting quite late now and tomorrow will be quite busy. I still might have some time tomorrow evening, but just to be on the safe side my deadline goes a bit further.
