@Fallenreaper Just finished reading the two sheets - very much look forward to interacting with these two! Very well thought-out damn :) I can imagine that Aulus' first reaction on seeing them would be, 'ohmagad a monstah!'


HAHAA, that would be amusing though I assume Alicja did inform Aulus at least about Dyril being half Elf.

I really want to write a post progressing Aulus' storyline to the point where he arrives at the capital and meets Alicja and the others - but as I say, it's exam season and I'm either trying to study or too busy beating myself up over not being able to study to write a post ^^'

I really want to write a post progressing Aulus' storyline to the point where he arrives at the capital and meets Alicja and the others - but as I say, it's exam season and I'm either trying to study or too busy beating myself up over not being able to study to write a post ^^'


Understandable, but you only have until 25th I believe if I recall right? That's only about 6 days until you don't have to worry about it and with any luck, we can hope as your exams get done then more time opens up. You can also talk to people over how you want to proceed too. After I write the post for intro, I'm honestly at a lost of what I can do since honestly Dyril's expecting Alicja to pick her up and hasn't anywhere else to go really if that doesn't help. Save getting a tavern with what limited funds she has with her right now. She packed light for the trip figuring it would be smarter to buy clothing and other things in Formaroth rather than haul any unneeded things with her over seas.

And as Dyril (I believe?) has already written to Alicja letting her know that she'll be arriving, I'm sure Alicja can meet her even if Aulus hasn't yet arrived, so don't worry about that ;) maybe my next post shouldn't be an Auus post at all - but one detailing what's happened with Alicja & co. since Duncan's last post and just before Dyril's arrival.

@Kho Currently Alicja & co are just planning the best route to break into the keep to rescue Pearl. They haven't really done much else yet hence why I haven't written anything for her for a while. They are currently held up in a secluded and rather run down tavern in the field district outside the city walls. Though they frequently visit the city giving you plenty of chances to run into her.

@The Wyrm Currently Andrew is trying to take the stronghold of Clarm before the imperial army arrives. When lady grim arrives she will arrive to see a heavily besieged stronghold surrounded by tens of thousands of soldiers. From there she will request to see Lord Manshrew, from there your collab can start. After lady grim has allied herself with the alliance she will take part in the battle of Telmarion between the alliance and the concord. I will send you a collab entailing all the details once I know who else may be taking part in the battle @Wraithblade6 will you be joining the battle of Telmarion?

Regardless, i have now updated my timeline of the steel fist, marked Ashala Harr as deceased and added that Claus knows elven language.

@Klomster Well it was a bit hollywood, but TBF Formaroth has the habit of blending realism with fantasy exaggeration, I mean this is a world of magic, elves and cat people so don't worry it was fine. When people are around Claus's level of fighting skill it's OK to go a bit hollywood as it demonstrates how powerful they are.

@TheDuncanMorgan Right now, Eclipse is fraterizing with the enemy in Ralda. I plan for him to get recruited by Lycaon's knights and join the battle from there. Will this work out?

You know I did actually considered having Kiseo and Dyril help with that. Namely as I thought it might be funny if word got back to Claus about a elf/hybrid elf and a cat like creature helping with the escape. Kiseo would be very helpful with her ability to squeeze into areas, night vision and climbing ability though sadly any combat would be very bad for both of them. Dyril's more for playing the political side of things while Kiseo's more for dirty and low level shenanigans... Hehee.

It wasn't actually, though admittedly Dyril and Kiseo are the most fantasy based characters in the story. Though I don't mind at all given that Fantasy elements in Formaroth have gratefully become more central as the story has gone on meaning that Dyril and Kiseo's appearances fit in quite well at the moment.

@TheDuncanMorgan I guess most of the reason you put all these "preferably human" rules in at the beginning was so that your story of a human kingdom in reformation wouldn't consist of only elf, mao and caelite characters fighting over the human throne.

It would be a bit odd, but perhaps entertaining.
I suppose it could be another rp.

Yay! Kiseo, until someone noticed, could easily hide herself underneath a large cloak. Though in extreme action, it would hard to hide the tail and other features unless in pure darkness. As for Dyril acting like a distracting that fits well with her personality and ability as she can calm ignorance to the plot while Kiseo helps the other three out of the city and meets her outside the port city.

Indeed and I was mostly giving you a hard time with my teasing. The timing was funny as you just accepted two pcs like that not too long ago and I'm just chuckling at that. I mostly took theses two because I honestly, as you noted with my sheets, enjoy some world building with cultures and races. It was rather fun figuring out for me what would be suitable and work well while picking what I liked best.

@The Wyrm Good post, though one edit is needed: Formaroth is home to the best strongholds and fortresses in the world, and Clarm is considered one of the best strongholds ever built. It would not be regarded as 'crude' or 'children's toys'. If anything the grim company would be in awe of the fortress, particularly given most of the grim company is from Seikatsu where even the best castles are made from wood.

Also one more small point for everyone to take note; Clarm is not a city. It is a stronghold with a walled town at the bottom (called wellstone). Though it is a large town is a defiantly not a city.
