Captain Delaney nodded, deliberately looking away from the bed pallets where much of his crew lay near-dead and unconscious. "Well enough. Blade, would you come with me for a moment? I've a task for you." he held the door open so the two of them could exit the infirmary.

Captain Delaney smiled wickedly and nodded in response. He lead Blade back across the gun deck and into the great cabin. The room had many windows, making it very bright compared to the quite dim interior of the Domina Artemis. On either side of the door were wall-mounted shelves lined with maps and tomes. There was a large mahogany desk in the center of the room, with the upholstered chair facing the door. "The royal family has no place on this ship. They're everything that we are not, and their presence here will only bring us death." Delaney said as he sifted through a pile of scrolls on the shelf. "We can't stay on the water forever, and as soon as we go to port, we'll become a target of every enemy kingdom and ransom-hungry pirate gang. This is not a secret that can be kept."
He finally found the scroll he wanted and opened it on the desk. It was a map of the sea between the kingdom and the next nearest landmass. He pointed at an archipelago in nearly the center. "There's a small trading island within a few days travel. We'll stop there, leave the ship, and before nightfall you will kill the remaining royals. How, when, and where is up to you. On my honor, I'll ensure your safety from any vengeful parties afterward."

Blade looked and said," captain, why can't we just drop them off at a island, but you ask me to, it will be done Captain." He must do it Captain Delaney asked him too. He said," there will be no problem I Will kill them both starting with the king." He glanced at the captian as he pooped out his hidden blade. Finding the kitchen empty again Marybeth went towards the infirmary to check on the king. She found him to be unconscious but his heartbeat was steady. She looked around the room at the others many of whom were pirates and she checked pulses and spooned water into all of the unconscious men and gave water to those that were awake. She wanted to help but she didn't know much about medicine other than how to stitch up a wound. It looked like Anastasia had already done that so she stuck to working on making them more comfortable. She ignored the dirty remarks from the more raucous men and pretended she didn't understand what was being asked of her. When she left there she felt like she had made a small difference in the day for those men. Pulling her hair back out of her face she felt the wariness in every bone of her body. She looked up and saw Arthur staring at her again.

"What? What are you staring at now? Did you think I would kill them because they were pirates? I'm not royal either you arse!"

"Yes, within three days depending on the winds." Captain Delaney replied. He paused for a moment, thinking he sensed some hesitation from Blade. "If we simply abandon them, we lose all control of the situation. The only way to ensure our security is with their blood. If you have any objections to this, tell me now."

Blade turned and said," no Captain Delaney, I have no objection, I'm willing to do this." He glanced at the captian and said," is there anything else you want me to do Captain?" He had to do this Blade sensed that the captian didn't trust him, he needs to gain his trust and blade must show his loyalty to the crew and the captain. @ladyanglaise

“Hmpf! I know you ain’t a fuckin’ royal. But you pamper those kids like you were their mother or something, so you might as well be one.” He spat on the floor and looked around the room for an excuse to get out of there. “Well… I haven’t checked on the cap’n lately so i better go do that…” He started to walk away but he soon realized that he didn’t know where the captain went. He turned back to marybeth. “You don’t happen to know where he is, do you?”

Marybeth was tired and aggravated. She stepped up to the man and poked him in the chest repeatedly with her finger. "Their father is in some kind of comatose state and their mother died in the fight. How should I be treating them? I'm the only one left from the life that they knew. Am I supposed to abandon them? They are children!" She glared at him and said "My father was the baker. I slept in his home every night. I just worked in the castle too."

She blinked back tears as she remembered the bakery being set on fire and hearing her mother's screams. Neither of her parents made it out. She shook her head and stepped back from him. "No idea, I left him when I found my room."

After a while, Alastair fell asleep on the bed. Tiffany began feeling drowsy due to Alastair sleeping in the same room she was. She sighed and considered shoving her brother off the bed but soon she realised he needed more sleep than her. Taking off her bag, she put it on a ground and laid her head down onto it. After a few moments she drifted off to the dreamland.

"Yes. She'll become suspicious after their death. Can't leave loose ends." The Captain replied simply. He returned to the shelf and retrieved a sextant and a blank scroll. "Thank you, Blade; you're excused. Sun should be setting soon, hopefully I'll be able to figure out where we are and I can tell you when we'll be at the island."

Laying her book gently on the desk, she glanced at Blade" Hello laddie.". With a swift movement of her hand, she grabbed a quill and the report she re-did earlier. "How are ya holdin' up?" she asked as she placed the equipment in a badly built drawer. She could sort the things inside later and focused her gaze on the fellow crew member. "Wait don't answer my previous question. Ya should get some rest kiddo. 'tis gettin' late".

He couldn’t help but feel a bit bad for her. We're all in the same boat after all… He walked up on deck,looking for the captain, but he ended up just staring out into the ocean.'

Captain Delaney left his cabin and went up to the main deck to check the wind. He saw Arthur looking out at the sea and decided to join him, leaning against the wooden railing a foot or so away from him. The kingdom had all but disappeared over the horizon, with just some dark smoke rising into the sky. "If not for the disaster, it would be a beautiful day." he said lightly.
