How weird, I could have sworn I had her character page up there. I'll find it and get it posted. Jin was adopted by Deathstroke. Her parents are an OC couple of mine. Jin gets her powers from her metahuman mom, most of her looks and her sharp mind from her human dad, and the training (and the snark) from Deathstroke.

Should I just throw up a quick "Walks in, gets the tour" post? Or should I collab with someone? I figure I won't be going into the sim, so I thought that'd be the best thing for Modlen to do.

@CajunRobinHood Jin is probably swearing in Japanese, French, and a touch of German. She can only speak Japanese fluently. The rest she's actively learning.

This may surprise some of you, but it's difficult to find an image of a freckled girl with four pupils, stone grey skin, a tail and black wings & hair. I'm actually considering downloading Sims 3 or something just to try to make a character I can screenshot. Is that okay? Or is it some sort of faux pa? I figured it'd look better than a 2D HeroMachine image.

You're very welcome! I hope they help. I can never find references for my characters because, well, they're black. So I make my own!

Well, she speaks Japanese. The French is because you can swear in it and not sound like you are. The German is because you could talk about tying your shoes and it sounds rude as all get out.

Modlen, sans the wings. Tail not visible. It really helps convey just how unsettling her eyes can be for some people. Apologies for the poor quality, I had to add the third and fourth pupils myself using Pixlr editor since I don't have Photoshop. Once again, thanks to @Mistress Dizzy for introducing me to the dollmakers!

I'm actually living in Berlin right now, and I'm trying to pick it up right now. It doesn't seem too difficult yet. The basic grammar structure is the same as English and there's a lot of similar words

You're right. I just really realized how many Germanic influences the English language has. I only ever studied the Romance languages, so those influences are the only ones I really know about
