On their way to the forest, Juno thought he saw something in the sky. Nothing more than a kite so he figured it wasn't that much of a concern. He looked up at his two friends to see if they spotted the kite as well.

Price noticed it too as they arrived to their destination. Once he was sure they were a good bit away from the city, he looked at Terra and wondered if she would like to just keep flying anyway. He wasn't struggling with his demon anymore, but wondered if he should tell her just how much stranger his demon has gotten like being able to turn giant after overfeeding.


Metallic Werewolf 1 was still hiding in the bushes hoping to find Joey. It looked up at the kite with little interest. It took one cautious step forward to avoid making any noise if able.

Joey looked up to see a kite in the air which indicated someone was there. I guess if I want to meet people, I should start there. He began walking towards the one flying the kite.

While flying, Terra noticed a kite in the sky. It was just a kite, so she decided it didn't need a whole lot of her attention. She continued flying until they reached the forest. She decided to stay above the trees awhile longer seeing that Price seemed to be ok now.

Kaitlyn eventually saw someone flying a kite not too far off from her. She decided to make her way closer, though wasn't sure she wanted to talk to him or not.

Now that I focus, I do see more people on the beach. Was my eyesight always this good? I've never had this far a line of sight before, so it's hard to tell. But this range feels.. unnatural? Is that kid walking over here?
I try and get the kite up high, out of the pull of the wind, so I can hold the line with one hand and wave with the other.
Hey, there's someone walking over there too. I wave.
"Hey Gharn. You awake? There's kids on the beach, I think they're coming over here."
The kite nearly crashes, with both hands I reign it in. It doesn't look like it'll last much longer before the wind tears it up.
I can make another later.

Gharn groans and rolls over. He rubs one hand over his face tiredly
"Mm? What's going on...? Kids?"
He sniffs slightly as his eyes turn yellow.
"Hmph. Smells... Werebeast, and then like you"

"They look like regular kids from here. You can smell that from all the way over here? Dang."
Gharn's senses are impressive. I can barely smell him from right here.
"Which one smells like me? The boy or the little girl?... And What does that even smell like?"
I wave at both, gesturing to come closer. In the process of waving, I lose control of the kite. It crashes violently.
"Fuck! Damn! My Kite!"
I start reeling in the rope to see if the thing is salvageable or not. Might be able to fix it..

Gharn frowns slightly.
"They both smell like you."
His frown deepens as he tries to think of words to explain it.
"They smell... different. I do not know how to explain in your tongue."
He chuckles slightly at he kite crash.
"Oh dear, can it be fixed?"

Kaitlyn saw the kite fall down, but she was close enough to know where it was. She just continued to where she saw it crash.

"Looks like the kite crashed." Terra stated. "Are you ready to land yet? Or should we stay up awhile longer?" she asked Price.

Price figured it was safe to land now. They've been up here for quite awhile. He looked at Terra. "Yes." He lowered himself to the ground to so so.


After a long while, Jordan finally came out of his den before searching for his friends(Oak and Gharn). I may decide to catch a snack on the way. He came across a river and pawed at the water in an attempt to catch some fish. After failing a couple times, he finally caught one and ate it. He then scampered across the river and continued his search.


Metallic Werewolf 1 looked at Joey from the bushes and scanned him. It made sure it got his location before heading back to Golden's lair, making as little noise as possible.


Joey came over to the group as well in an attempt to make some friends. "Hi." He waited patiently for a response.

This kid doens't look like a werebeast.. But if Gharn says so... he would know.
That would make the other, the latter. Weird like me? Not a werething? Or another kind?
I'm staring aren't I? I shake my head, then focus on the kid in front of us.
"..And I'm Oak. Sup?"
I would mimic Gharn and attempt to shake hands (paws?), but my hands are full of a mess of rope and kite.

Among the police who had arrived to secure the area at the edge of the forest was a young lady officer with upswept black hair and bright blue eyes. She spotted a badly-injured cop being helped off, and judging from the wound, she was quite sure of what was responsible for it. None of her colleagues knew of her double life. As far as they were concerned, she was new to the force with much to learn. That wound, it looked like the work of a werebeast. There was no way those who had seen it happen would still not believe that these things existed. She took a glance into the forest, thinking about the dangers that lurked there. She only wished that she had arrived at the scene earlier to see what it had been like, though, now it seemed that she'd be busy once night fell.

Joey looked at Oak when he asked if he was adopted. He just shrugged and said, "How would I know? I don't remember anything from that far back." He also heard what he said to Kaitlyn?(I think). "And Freeman just happens to be my last name."

"Looking at the injuries sustained, it's highly unlikely that humans were responsible for this. Perhaps it might have been something like a wild animal instead," Shamira replied flatly. "Multiple witnesses have claimed that someone actually turned into some sort of lion-monster, Sir."

That was it, although from witness descriptions, she knew all too well that it had been a werelion. She couldn't start talking about werebeasts, or Detective Burkley would think she was insane. For now, she would just tell him her observations and what the witnesses have said, and hear what Burkley himself had to say about it all.

Joey would've ended up really confused if Oak had gone on with that. "The only memory I have is that I was bitten at a young age. That's about it." Then when he changed the subject to ask where he or Kaitlyn were from. "I do travel a lot."

He takes a moment to nod politely to Kaitlyn but still seems suspicious of Joey possibly being a 'Changed'
