@noodles God Damnit Man AVERY HAS PURPLE HAIR. How many times do I have to tell you it ain't red XD (Lavender or violet will suffice as they're closer to the shade of purple)
@liferusher Your computer sucks lemons as well then lol There are four words I commonly use to describe his hair; long, lavender, violet and purple. The last three simply because they're close enough to the same thing. In fact, pretty sure Duncan's posts have pointed it out a few times that his hair is purple (or a variant). I have no idea why you're seeing it as red....

Emily has the potential to use water-based magic. She herself however, only knows little about it. Her possessed self on the other hand, when the witch takes control, knows how to use water magic. However, the water magic is "corrupted" due to the witch's influence and it does not have any healing capabilities. While in that form the water that she uses for her magic becomes corrupted and therefore venomous, toxic and acidic. Just like the magic she uses, her body and all fluids produced by and within it are poisonous (sweat, blood, saliva, etc.)
Personality of Emily
Emily herself is what one would describe as a typical introvert. She would rather spend the weekend at home spending time with herself than going out with friends and meet new people. While she has no problem while interacting with unknown people, no social anxiety, it is simply her preference to not do so. She would describe herself as shy if she were to be asked. However, other than that, she is a very friendly and polite person to those that she cherishes. She could never harm anyone willingly and she rarely loses her temper. However, even if she does get angry at someone, Emily’s wrath is nothing to be particularly worried of. It usually just consists of her ignoring that person for a few days before she feels bad for doing so and ends up apologizing. While she does treat her close friends in the best way possible, it is quite the task to become a part of that group. It is not easy to gain her trust, but all the more rewarding if someone manages to do so. However, ever since the witch had forced its way into Emily's being, her personality slowly started to shift more to match with the witch's. She finds herself every now and then having horrific thoughts, lashing out at people for no reason at all only to feel immediately sorry about it. Worst of all: They seem to become more frequent.
Personality of the Witch
Her other self however, is vastly different. This the other side of her personality which the girl cannot control. It is basically exactly the opposite of what Emily is. While in this form, she is incredibly rude, disrespectful and only cares about herself. One could even describe her as evil. She is sadistic and does not care at all for anyone except for herself, she views normal humans as “trash” and “scum”. For her, killing another human is as if she is squashing a fly, their lives have no meaning to her. Therefore, it would be advised to stay away from her since her behavior, while being in that form, is very erratic and impulsive. She might not care enough about you to hurt you, or she might not care enough to not hurt you. However, there are some people that she still cares about. Even though the ones she considers allies are quite rare, people like like worshippers/cultists and, obviously, witches themselves are considered to be allies for her.
Background
Who would’ve thought that an individual like Emily had one of the most normal childhoods out there. She grew up in a rather small village consisting of roughly 50 inhabitants. None of them were poor but none were rich either. It was this typical small village where everyone knew basically everyone, and they lived closely together. The villagers supplied themselves with their local farms, hunted for meat in the woods and gathered fresh water from the local springs. At least once a month they held a festival for everyone to enjoy and bond even further which consisted of singing, dancing and most importantly, eating. It was these kinds of traditions that kept the positive spirit and up and alive. While Emily herself had no siblings that never was a problem. Whenever she felt like playing with others she could simply walk a few steps outside and play with the other children! All children attended the same school where they learned everything they needed to know to live in that village and even more. While the parents were out working the whole day, the children could therefore prepare themselves to do their parent’s job in the future. Everyone lived in harmony and they had done so for centuries by now without any interruption by outsiders. One day however, everything changed.
When Emily was 13, she first learned of them. It was late in the evening and the poor girl couldn’t sleep, it was too cold in her room to do so. When she went downstairs to grab another sheet she overheard her parents arguing in the living room. Emily wasn’t allowed to still be awake so late which is why she decided to stay outside of the living room and just listen. She was too tired to fully understand what they said, the small girl only understood fragments of what they were talking about. Something about woods... robes… mysterious and a witch. Emily was too small to know what a witch was, she wasn’t taught that knowledge in school. So when she asked her parents about what witches are the next day, they stared at her in shock and simply told her “Someone truly evil that she needs to stay away from”. While certainly not satisfied with that answer, Emily was not given any better one.
Over the next few days she consulted her friends about it and it seemed like she struck gold. They were incredibly intrigued by the idea that there was such a mysterious being in the woods! After just seeing how excited everyone was it quickly became clear: They needed to explore this phenomenon. While the girl did have some doubts about this and wanted to make everyone aware of just how dangerous it seemed, it had no use. They were too determined to go and thus Emily came with them.
On the next Saturday, a day where the adults still needed to work but there was no school. Therefore, the children usually used this day for homework or playing with the others. It was the perfect opportunity for the children to sneak out of the village and go on their own little adventure. They went ahead to explore the woods and sure enough, it only took about an hour before they found what they were looking for: And entrance to a cave in the middle of the forest. However, just before they could decide how they would proceed, hooded figures began to appear around them. The children, struck with fear, attempted to flee realizing just how grave of a mistake it was to come here. Obviously however, it was too late. The robe-wearing cultists made quick work and captured the small group, taking them back into the cave. Inside the cultist’s hideout they began to sacrifice the prisoners in a ritual to their beloved witch, one after the other, showing no sign of mercy. Those cultists didn’t care about the lives of the poor children, they only cared about pleasing their witch, the witch of kindness. Eventually, and coincidentally, it was Emily’s turn too as she was the last one still left. When they finally performed the ritual on the resilient young girl, something unexpected happened. Instead of accepting her as a worthy sacrifice, the witch saw something inside of Emily that she herself cannot explain to this day. Instead of taking her soul Emily found herself surviving the otherwise fatal ritual almost unharmed, much to the shock of the cultists. Emily was now the vessel and host for a witch, the witch of kindness, the name was ironic enough, had implanted herself into the girl as Emily was, by chance, somewhat compatible. Seeing how she was deemed worthy by the witch the brainless cultists were quick to bow down before Emily, accepting her immediately as if she was a prophet to them. The scared and confused child however, simply fell unconscious after everything that just had happened. When she woke up again several hours later, the whole scenery had changed. All the dozens of cultists that had captured her in the first place were dead and next to her, their bodies were mutilated and ravaged; a horrifying sight. This was the first occasion of Emily’s new "roommate in her mind" taking over, she only remembered very little of it. The only thing that currently reminded her of her condition which Emily was quick to call a curse, was the demon-like tail which had grown from her tailbone just below her waist. Filled with shock and disbelief Emily realized: She was no longer human. There was no way that she could return to her village, what if her “other side” would take over at home and do the same thing she did with the cultists? No, this witch that lived inside of her needed to stay away from them, stay away from other humans. For the next two years the disturbed girl lived as a stray in the wild, a child with no place to be, an animal too dangerous to be kept around humans. However, while survival was the toughest challenge the young girl had ever faced, it had its positive aspects too. As she grew older Emily became more aware of the full extent of her curse, she began to understand how it worked and, sadly, as time passed on, Emily learned that the outbursts of the witch of kindness within her only increased in frequency and it was surely something she would have to deal with at some point. Sometimes cultists managed to find her, but since they felt the presence of a witch inside of Emily, they left her alone as per her own request, granting Emily the safety which she needed.
Once she became 16 years of age, Emily decided she had trained herself enough to oppress the evil persona inside of her, which she had named “Demon-Em”, to finally live amongst humans again. No, of course she didn’t dare to go to her old village. Instead the girl looked for work in the capital and, luckily, she quickly found a job in the slums which, while not paying a lot, provided her shelter and a place to be and finally the one thing that she had missed over the past years; human interaction. She had to be extremely careful since she was basically reeking of the witch for anyone who was able to sense the witch’s presence and the tail was just an additional sign. Emily didn’t know how people would react if they found out about her tail, if they could draw the conclusion of its relation to a witch, but it surely was a risk that she was not willing to take. Hence Emily avoided this kind of confrontation with the help of pure luck and hiding the tail inside of her pants uncomfortably. Like this, Emily was able to live the past year up until the present day inside of the slums without any further trouble, much to her own delight.
Updated version I worked out with the super-kind Lunar to match the lore. Hopefully there are no conflicts with the lore now, it should be fine if I did not forget anything D:
@Forett Holy mother of.... You're actually alive?! discord.gg/H3WjJV Here's the discord chat if you wanna join, since that's where a lot of OOC stuff has been happening. You'll probably need a recap lol It's been about five IC weeks since your character last did something....uh what was that last thing again? If memory serves, it was talking to Malakus but I could be wrong.
@Forett Yeah, defeated Mithril already. Everyone dicked off to a village, which is a weeks travel, and while we never finished that arc we just say we did lol It's four weeks later IC time after the start of that arc and everyone is currently in a group with Avery + Duncan, or at the Celestia mansion atm. Well all the actives anyway. Bar Dragan + Reinhard. They're somewhere *shrugs*
