Introduction
Have you ever felt like you were drowning?
For many years, it seemed like I was sinking deeper and deeper underneath the tides. Harder to breathe. Harder to fight the current. I had lost everything. No friends, no family, no one. I never thought that would change after everything I had experienced at the hands of my worst enemies. I thought I would never fill the void that was in my heart. But somehow, I found a place where I could do just that. On a little planet called Earth.
These are the stories of my travels on that little planet, on the place where I found a renewed sense of self, and with the unlikely family I found. The stories of the Teen Titans.

About the Roleplay
The world as we know it has had superheroes in some form or another for as long as history has recorded strange metahumans and aliens. From the appearance of the Justice Society of America to the current modern day Justice League. In this world the tides are oftentimes turning. It is here in the relative present, that legacies of heroes have spawned in such a short time. However, these legacies have not yet been put to the test. As a group of heroes find themselves in New York City, they will find themselves in a situation where they will build a league of their own.
Player characters will have full freedom in determining their characters and their parent characters. A Dick Grayson player determines Gotham and Batman as well as subsequent lore and so on and so forth. Stuff not covered will be determined by players and GMs alike with fair balance to things. It will be the GMs job to motivate and deliberate, nothing more and nothing less. Plots will focus on characters in a sliding scale, starting with the introductory event where Starfire is chased down and forced into combat in downtown Manhattan. Your objective as players is to place your characters in New York, interact, and build things together. In the original RP that influenced this one characters like Aqualad, Wonder Girl, and Speedy were meeting up at a pizzeria on one of their many off days when the action draws them to Starfire. If we want to do a similar situation, we can do that. If we can brainstorm something better, that’s perfectly fine as well.
In terms of character limits, I think to keep things balanced we have to consider six character slots with two readily assigned to myself and Maxx. The rest is up to the process of elimination. Those who don’t get in will be placed on a short-list for future additions.
The world is ripe for the taking, guys.
