I played Dark Souls 2 last night.

In three hours, I caught up with Jeremiah and DJ who played for 7 hours the night before. Super proud. :3

That game is badass. I love it a lot more than the first.

EDIT: Well, I didn't exactly catch up. They beat a certain boss and then quit. I got to that boss, put up a good fight, and then quit due to being exhausted. But I almost caught up!

I've been playing it somewhat obsessively since Thursday. It's fun shit, even though I've been constantly getting my shit slapped around by bosses because I've chosen to stick with a heavy armor shield-whoring strategy even on bosses where it has been a poor choice.

My problem is that I always forget that I have a shield. So, I just two-hand all of my weapons. What's the point in holding your shield if you just keep forgetting? Haha.

Ah, Dark Souls 2. Now that I have some time, might as well try and finish my NG+5 run.... Excuse me while I go and get my skull crushed in.

Or I'll just hop on the game and get right back into it with no issue despite so long off of it. Who knows.
