Charlie watched as the others struck up in conversation. She was used to being ignored, in fact she usually craved it, but now she felt different...she actually...kind if wanted to be talked to. She slowly uncurled herself and sat up properly, giving a cautious glance at the seat as her long legs pressed against it.

Nobody was in the back with her, probably because she'd scared them away when they were all loaded up, so she barely caught words in Thomas' conversation with everybody else. "Kill" "Corpse" and "So I" gave her enough information, Thomas' was a killer, great.

Charlie nervously looked around at the empty seats next to her. Had she really scared everybody else away with her "problem"? Was she that terrible?!
She sighed and looked down sadly, now convinced that she was the reason for the chaos.

"Ugh..." She muttered quietly, becoming slightly irritated. "I need my pills, damnit!!"

April tried to pull her arm away, but his grip was vice-like "J-Jack let go, l-let go Jack." She said quietly, fear growing inside of her. She tried to pull his arm off, but his fingers were rigid, she sat there in shock, trying to pull away again and again, but it was unrelenting. Eventually she stopped struggling and said "J-Jack, p-please let me go, th-there's no point in getting angry..."

"I just want you to stop." Jack's voice was more raised now, and his fingers only tightened even more around April's arm. "You're being so stubborn! I'm not..I'm not angry!" He spoke with force, and he did in fact sound angry. Inside, he was convinced he was trying to help her. He didn't realize how he was doing it so wrong. He moved again, strongly pulling her closer.

April stopped struggling with her arm, she knew he was on the edge of an outburst, and she was right in the centre, Jack pulled her closer, and she could see his nostrils flaring, he was about to go. "I-I'm sorry, I'm sorry" she repeated timidly, attempting to brace herself for the oncoming storm. "Please Jack, let me go."

He was yelling at himself in his own head. He saw April and heard her voice echoing around the walls of his mind. "Please Jack, let me go."
He got himself to release his grip from her as soon as he understood what she said, and that's when he realized that he was shaking. "I didn't-" he started. Suddenly, he felt too ashamed and guilty to say anything more. He clenched his jaw and brought his head down, looking away. He kept silent with his attention on the floor for the rest of the trip.

April felt bad for making Jack feel so bad. She turned around to her backpack and pulled out one of the books she think he'd like, she wrote it herself, and it was bound in leather. It pained her to pass it to him, but she swallowed her courage and passed it to him, putting it on his lap.

Jack felt the book that April placed on his lap. He realized this must have been something that she had written. It made him a little relieved, but he still kept his mouth shut. He didn't move to take the book, but he let it lay there. Later, he'll check it out so hopefully nobody tries to take it. He placed his arms over the back of the seat in front of him, and impatiently waited for them to arrive.

Flint decided to walk up to someone and see if he could talk to them.
He sat beside Charlie. "Hello." he said softly not really sure if they where real or not, im sure he would be able to decipher it soon enough though.

Charlie snapped out of her trance and gasped when she heard a voice greet her.
She turned to Flint and squeaked in fear, hiding her face in her hands.

For a second or two she stayed like this, watching Flint with wide eyes through the gaps in her fingers.
Her hands slowly moved away from her face as she decided that he wasn't a threat.

"H-hi." She stuttered back in a low voice, that being the first she'd spoken to anyone since the van ride began.

"How are you doing?" Flint asked softly smiling as he glanced at nothing beside Charlie. His eyes flickered to the blank space beside her head a few times.
"Flint,flint flint flint" The imaginary woman continued to pester.
Flint attempted to ignore her hoping that Charlie wouldn't notice.

"I'm doing okay...sort of..." Charlie answered blowing her bangs out of her face and curiously watching Flint's flickering eyes. She childishly tilted her head in confusion and continued to speak. Her tone was low and serious.

"What do you see?"

"Errm... nothing.." Flint said blushing softly.
"Its just in my head... "Flint was thinking but even then it was real to him...
The figure had stopped nagging and just stood there looking towards Charlie and laughing at her.
Flint attempted to ignore her, smiling back at Charlie.

Charlie stuck her hand out to the side, right through the imaginary woman's torso, and said with a smile.

"What am I doing to what you're seeing?"

She laughed softly, beginning to enjoy herself. Her fearful outside layer slowly pealed away to reveal the sweet, childish girl underneath. Flint was the first one to talk to her, and was also her first friend.

Maybe this place isn't so bad after all.

Charlies hand went through the woman's torso. The image of the woman seemed to dissipate as the sense of reality broke.
"You where going through her... Well she Is gone now.... well I mean.."
Flint blushed more. He felt stupid sometimes, he thought to himself how he feels his condition is just having too much of an imagination.
His imagination forming on its own without him trying.
He seemed a little saddened by the laugh but then realised it was all in good jest and so he laughed a little to.
"What your name?" Flint asked "Im Flint"

Charlie laughed once more and let her hand flop back onto the seat.
"I'm Charlie. It's nice to meet you, Flint."
She smiled and nodded in greeting.
Noticing Flint's crimson cheeks, she squinted her eyes in confusion, but decided that it would be best to ignore it.
"So, what's your disorder? I mean, you don't have to tell me...if you don't want."

"Hah, not that I know of, no." Charlie smiled.

"I have a couple different anxiety disorders, so I'm pretty much scared of everything..." She chuckled awkwardly, her own face growing pink with embarrassment.

"And I also suffer from extreme depression..."

Thomas was having a lot of fun observing the different people in the van, he found the situations quite amazing,
"Well... This has been fun! When do we arrive?" Thomas rolled his head,
"I'm getting stir-crazy" Thomas glanced offer to the schizophrenic he encountered earlier, he began to observe him and the girl he was conversing with, she was pretty... He bit his lip and cocked his head to the side to get a better view of her, she was indeed very beautiful... His thoughts ran wild and he wanted to run over and give her a hug, his ICD got the best of him and shuffled over and wrapped his arms around her, he let go, smiled and shuffled back to Jack and April

Charlie squealed as arms wrapped around her, and hit and kicked any part of her attacker she could reach before he let go. Curling back in her ball again, she buried her face in her legs and began to sob.

Her body shook while she cried, tears streaming down her cheeks

Flint wasn't sure what to do... The situation was so bizarre.
He decided to just look to the girl and try to comfort her. Making sure not to touch her to freak her out even more.
