Does Zerul have a crime problem? I could see Gregory trying to root out some thugs around the surrounding areas and maybe getting in over his head, asking Verdis' character for help. Just an idea I'm throwing out there to get the ball rolling. If it seems too obtuse, please let me know.

@New Yorker: That sounds like something we can work out. Are you familiar with collabs? Do you know of any sites we can use?

@Veridis and TNY: Piratepad, Titanpad, Google doc etc. type of collab (text both/all counterparts can edit)? Else you can simply use the PM system here (and add me and Jack as most likely "silent" third and fourth members so that we know what is happening and I can straight up archive the posts).

Alright, you can send me the link once you have written a good segment or so. Just keep in mind that we have to let everyone else let the time of day become late night before my character arrives.

It is currently day for the people in Zerul, and morning for those in the borderhouse, for the record. I assume you mean to start your collab later on in the same day (compared to the current time for the main group and those intending to join it)?

My computer is experiencing severe issues. I may not be able to post for a while. Which may not be too big of a problem since I haven't even started yet. If you don't see any issue with it, I expect to return to stay after my computer is fixed.

Things happen; as long as you let us know in the OoC when something is keeping you from posting for a longer time so that we'll know to plan around it, all is generally good.

I'm waiting for either a collab from New Yorker or for nightfall to occur. Edit: In both cases, I'd need nightfall.

@Veridis Quo: Would you prefer to wait for TNY (as we don't know how long it would be until he's his computer back) or should one of us arrange an encounter of some kind for your character in between (which his character could later join, if he likes the idea)?

It might be better if Verdis' character went on without me. Even I'm a little confused as to when I'll be fully available.

@Shienvien: I was planning on entering the city when night game and going into an inn. Do you have something else in mind?

@Veridis Quo: I was essentially thinking of a - if we want to speak in RPG terms - "random encounter". Something for your character to do until either the people at the borderhouse move forwards and are soon to spend the night in possibly the same inn (so they'd be able to meet your character in the morning) or TNY is back available and can either join the scene or we can wrap the scene up and you can do your collab.

By the time my character arrives it will already be pretty late. If you want to do something with that, then sure.

@Veridis Quo: I take it that if I were to arrange some kind of encounter, it'd be after he arrived in the town rather than on the way to the city? If he arrived very late, then chances are he'd actually be arriving after the main group has already walked through the city gates and settled in for the night. In any case, Zerul is a large city and plenty of things could happen, just have to have to figure out what in this instance. Hmm... @Mercinus3, @Ink Blood: How are things? Merc, still preoccupied with university? Ink Blood, have you mind up your mind on whether you're still going to play Salas or bring in a new character? (Should probably poke at @Ashgan, too, just because it has soon been a month once more. :-P )

I think for the time being I'll stick with Salas. I'm just at a loss as to what he can do right now.
