Terribly short post but a post none the less. I'm starting to get back into the swing of things though, so that's good.

Great! So close to finally revealing a big game-changing decision the group will be forced to make. Its going to be a longer post most likely, but I'll start typing away at it once @MacabreFox posts.

Okay, so apparently waiting is what some folks consider super fun, but it's really not my thing. Unless we get moving again, I'm going to call this a game and duck out.

@Deserted@dreamingflowers@Fetzen

Because of the lost of two characters and the multiple long silences of the roleplay, I'm unfortunately to bringing this roleplay to an official close. I want to thank all of you guys who stuck around, dedicating your time and effort to both the plot and characters. Honestly, I have been on this site for about five months and active in three roleplays that I can remember that actually started. But I mention that to say that before the guild, I roleplayed on another and most stories never survived due to the great amount of unescapable inactivity from all players. So I came here, thinking I would have better luck. Then I found you guys. I created this roleplay partially to improve my writing in the fantasy genre, and although the roleplay ends her, I don't regret the advice and support given. Any of you storytellers are welcomed to join any of my future roleplays, especially if you have a thing for sci-fi since I've been having an itch to get right back into my favorite genre.

@Deserted Can't lie, you really guided me through this roleplay when it came to carrying a plot through. Even back on the interest check, you were the first to respond. And within the OOC, you kept it light and fun. As for Rooke's character, you took the wise choice of making him a man of mystery, which kept me guessing what other secrets are there to discover within him. I've always wondered if it would end with Emmett turned against him or standing with him.

@dreamingflowers I remember you saying that you can tell I have put a lot of dedication into the roleplay, and it means a lot. I also cannot forget you calling this roleplay special. You definitely encouraged me to not forget character development, since one of the things that can keep a roleplay memorable are the characters that make them up. Speaking of characters, Floure definitely stood out from the rest due to her soft-nature. The possibilities of what her character could go through was countless. Situations like putting her into intense life or death dilemmas or even just dealing with the impulsive interactions of Emmett, could prove to even impact the very true ending.

@Fetzen Glad I could be your first roleplay in the advanced section. You were the first person I have tried something new by actually conversing ideas about your character within a PM. Othen was definitely the brute of the Whispering Badlands, but surprisingly enough he was actually quite funny in the way he would counter Emmett. It would have been nice to see the certain tests of manhood Othen would put Emmett through and I was planning to set a scene where it would make perfect sense to have that happen. But none the less a unique character.

Well, there you have it, my finally goodbyes to the roleplay and to you guys, although I hope to bump into any of you. Thanks again for all of your concern and dedication.

Hey, thanks for all of the hard work @beyond visions I really appreciate the whole thing, just wish we got to get to the meat of the story. Honestly, I think we can keep playing with the small group we currently have. I just don't stick around games when nobody has posted for weeks or days. I'm game if everybody else is.

If you aren't up for GMing, I am planning on running a Fantasy soon if you guys are looking for a game to stick with for a while.

There isn't much I can add to what you've already written to us about this roleplay. I think you are right to say that sheer inactivity has caused this roleplay to end before it really got started. It's something that happens a lot unfortunately and many roleplays don't make it through the summer.

I've enjoyed everything about this roleplay, the characters, our interactions IC as well as OOC. When it became less active it slipped to the back of my mind and I lost the initial excitement I had in the beginning. The thing which always helped me get back into it was to read through our character sheets and the IC posts we made. They've all been great, amazing writing and storytelling skill. I do really hope we bump into each other again somewhere down the road. Even though our adventure was short lived it's one I will definately remember, it had some memorable scenes and the characters were unique and unforgettable in their own ways.

Thank you all, I've enjoyed writing with you for as long as it lasted. Best wishes and good luck with everything xoxo

Well, I think it's safe to say that we are the ones that outlast.

I would like to invite you all to my game because I know you aren't going to dump me.
