Watching the female, he noticed she must be another gem carrier like himself noticing her trembling. When she apologized about being late, holding her hand out to him, Zo had his arms crossed, staring for a moment. "Tch...sorry for being late? I wasn't even expecting you....don't know about everybody else." He moved her arms so to reach out and grab her hand, making sure not to squeeze too hard to break it, he shook gently. "Lorenzo White.....but you can call me Zo. Seeing you here, you're obviously one of us. I have super strength....what about you?" Zo was quite straight forward looking at this sorta edgy looking female that just showed up.

Shiloh looked between Zo and Roxy before answering, "I have the wonderful gift of ice. She was right. I get this lovely thing on the back of my neck and now I show up late to a battle on the first day of training," she crossed her arms over her chest and gave a small smile, "Not once in my life did I ever want the super power of ice, if we can even call these super powers." she finished.

Roxy smired. Of course she had been right. She could feel the cold air coming off Shiloh. "The wolbed weren't part of out training. We got here not that long ago. The head Gem is inside. He can explain more to you. The short version is you are now less human then you were before. You are stuck here until you learn to control your power and your expected to save stupid people from giant monsters. So welcome."

Charles would kneel down to one of the wolves thinking some to himself "Status" he says looking at his stats and seeing he had gained 675 exp from that entire fight, he would grin some "that's good.... so doing combat will give more experience than other thing.." he says closing the window he would look to the wolf. "Observe" he says as an information window appears with things on the wolf, he would raise a brow at the type of wolf "That is surprising... so they was indeed not regular wolves.." he shakes his head. An idea would pop up and he would turn to the others "Hey any of you have a knife or something I can use?" he asks them.

Listening to both the new girl and Roxy, Zo kept his arms crossed "There's plenty ass whoopins will coming in the future. And your gem is located behind your neck huh? Mine is on my chest, in front of my heart." he responded. "What all can you do with your ice so far? can you cause a snow storm or something?" Zo was very curious as to what people were truly capable of with their powers. He was not afraid to ask and wanted to get to know his teammates. Even looking over to Roxy "I still don't think I know your name yet, babes..."

hearing Charles, Zo looked over "Nah...I ain't got a knife...but I can rip that bastard open though.."

Shiloh laughed a little. "I'm Shiloh, and I can't cause snow storms. The most I can do right now is freeze things and myself," she said gesturing to the ground below her feet. It was slicked in a sheet of ice, "I have no control over it either. If I'm over emotional things just start turning to ice. I woke up this morning and my room was coated in it." She turned her attention to Charles. "I could try and make an ice spear, but I think Roxy has a knife." She shivered a little as she looked around. Her lips were practically blue at this point and all she wanted was to be able to walk around without layer upon layer of clothes.

Roxy held out one of her knives. "Don't chip it or I'll hurt you." She told him. She always carried atleast six knives on her. She wasn't going to go telling anyone that. She briefly wondered what the guy would do with the knife. But she didn't care enough to ask. As long as he didn't chip it they would be fine. "My name is Roxy."

"brute force is useless here for me.. since I'm wanting to test something in regards to my power" he states to Zo before looking to the girls and smiles "thank you" he says taking the knife "I'm Charles McCloud" he states to them. He is bit surprised they haven't said anything to him about how he somehow knew their names beforehand before they went to fight the wolves when he invited them to his party system. He would turn towards the wolf "if it could kill one of these dought it'll chip it" he states before bringing the knife to the wolf and begins to go to work... it would merely take 10 seconds before he would seem to fall into a trance, like he was on auto-pilot as he skinned the wolf, pluck it's claws and teeth, and more. with the small knife it would of took him a little while to do this just on one wolf.

Moment he was finish he would notice a new skill windowed appeared 'New skill obtained, Gather level 1 (passive) weither it's Gathering the spoils of battle, or the plants of the world, you now have 25% chance of successfully gathering non-damaged materials, but 75% chance in gathering damaged materials.' on the ground next to him would pretty much be whats left of the wolf now in multiple parts, which he would put into his inventory window. Damaged wolf pelt, multiple damaged wolf claws and teeth, and various wolf meat. he would move on to the next dead wolf and just start to repeat the process but instantly going into auto pilot mode, he was going to gather each wolf one by one it seemed. "..These materials can be incredibly useful.." he would mumble once.

With a nod, Zo gave a small smirk "Shiloh huh?...don't worry....I break too much shit with my powers. Super strength is bad ass but I can break things easily if I ain't careful. But....maybe you and I can train together and grow sweet thang." Zo said trying to mack and talk the flirtacious game. He turned to Roxy "Don't mind teaming with you to, Roxy...." he said being a bit friendly. Well of course he'd be friendly towards 2 good looking females...well...3 if he included Eve.

Eve wasn't sure, but she thought she might be just a little bit in shock. Everything had happened so fast, between the letter and new people, gems and wolf fights, so really she didn't find it surprising that she'd had nothing to say. When the wolf hadn't pounced on her being finally out for the count, she had honestly frozen up, and had another beastie come along she would have been very dead.

Slowly, while the others conversed with yet another new person, another girl by the looks of it, Eve simply picked herself up, dusted herself off and joined the edge of the group, intertwining her gloved fingers in front of her and saying nothing at all.

Shiloh rolled her eyes, but still smiled at Zo. "We would make a pretty odd team, Zo was it?" she said as she stuck her hands into her jacket pocket. She watched Charles and scrunched up her face a little wondering how someone could do that without feeling a little sick or throwing up in general. "Charles, what exactly is your ability?" she asked glancing toward Eve, "I'm Shiloh the ice maker." She did her best to try and get a long with them, but all she wanted was answers. She wanted to find the person Roxy had mentioned, but at the same time she really didn't want to go into a random building all alone. "Did that head Gem person tell you guys why we got these things? Why were we picked?"

Roxy shook her head. "Not really. He just said that the gems choose us because something about us fit the magic that they contain. Once you pick up the gem your stuck with it. You can't go back to your normal life. He did sag that he could help us control the powers so we could have a sort of normal life if that's your goal." That wasn't her goal but it might be why the others were here.

Shiloh thought about it for a second. Her normal life wasn't anything glamours. Maybe this could be her chance for a fresh start. "So we can play superheros or something? What if not everyone wants to use their new power for good? Is the head Gem supposed to know which of us has good intentions and which of us don't?" she asked sort of rambling. He pushed her hair from her face and then crossed her arms over her chest. Since she had showed up late she missed her chance to meet the guy. Shiloh looked around at everyone and started rocking back on her feet. "Since all the wolves are dead I assume maybe we go in. Zo...you can lead the way."

When Charles is done he would have 5 ruined wolf pelts, 100 damaged wolf claws, and nearly the same in teeth. as well as a lot of wolf meat. he puts them all in his inventory, before looking back to the others as they spoke. "The gamer stuff is kind of my power" he states "My gem turned me into a videogame character" he tells Zo and Shiloh. "My power turns various actions into skills even possibly creating some out of nothing, and even gives me skill points so I can assign special points to various stats that can boost my various abilities" he tells them as he cleans off the knife and gives it back to Roxy. "like if I put points into strength I become physically stronger, and so on.." he say "my power to my knowledge has pretty much no limits... but more testing will be needed to figure that out.. a lot of grinding... aka training" he states.

Roxy acepted her knife back. She studied it carefully before reshealthed it. She she was glad that Charles hadn't nicked it. It was easy to do especially when you didn't know what the hell you were doing. She shrugged at the girl'squestion. "I suppose you can play at it if you want to. I don't intend to. I dobut to that the head guy knows any more But who has good intentions and who doesn't then we do."

Hearing out Shiloh, Zo nodded "Yeah it's Zo. I think you might like being on my team..." he said confidently. He then turned to Charlie when he explained his powers to him and Zo listened on until he was done explaining. Zo crossed his arms raising an eyebrow Video game powers.....shit that sounds like you're nothing but a cheater with that...but whatever...as long as that shit is useful when we need it in battle." he mentioned before turning around when Shiloh asked for Zo to lead the way. "Alright squad...let's go in then..." walking back to the building to meet with Gem so he can explain what was next.

Shiloh shrugged a little as she followed. "I don't know, video game powers seem cool. I'd like that over this ice queen bs. I can't even get the slightest bit warm," she said with a sigh. She bit her lip a little as they entered the building. She looked around to take in the surroundings. There was a lot here, but she couldn't help but think it was all for show. How did they even know this guy wasn't going to kill them? They were just a rag tag group of people, she doubted they could defend themselves against this guy if he went rouge. "This place is rather interesting," Shiloh whispered moving a little closer to Zo. She looked at Roxy and Charles, "Do you guys know how to get the guy to come out of his hiding spot? Like in video games don't they have a map or key to the next quest or side missions?"

Roxy snorted and rolled her eyes. She thought that Shiloh was being a wimp. "Just because Charles is stuck in a video game doesnt mean the rest of us are." She snapped. She was glad that she hadn't gottent that power. She didn't know anything about video games.

Gem appeared in front of them. "Welcome Shiloh. You all did very well for your first attack. You will learn more about fighting and your powers later. For now I imagine you would all like to settle in. Your rooms are on the second floor. Each room has been labled. Your room will have your gem on the door."

Charles raised a brow at them at their comments "Maybe Zo, but that's just how the cookie crumbles" he stats then looks at the girls and speaks, "Roxy was that suppose to be some kind of insult?" he asks. It didn't really phase him if it was, he would look to Shiloh "Well Quests are from people, should someone give me a request it becomes a quest and I can get rewards from my power doing them" he states "and the map is just a simple mini-map that shows the general area" he states "useful for tracking party members.. which by the way Party disband" he states and suddenly the little icons on the edge of the other's vision vanishes.

Roxy shrugged. She really hadn't been trying to insult him. She was trying to keep some space between her and the others in the only way she knew how. She could have insulted him if she really wanted to but she really didn't care enough to bother. Plus she was stuck with him and the others for who know how long. No sence in pudding anyone off. "Not really."
