His skin is extremely pale, making him appear as someone who has not had enough sun in his life. His hair is a light brown and is usually quite long, as well as being cut haphazardly. (if it gets over his eyes, he cuts it himself with a pair of scissors) His features look almost androgynous, and has been mistaken for a girl in the past. He prefers to wear smart black suits at important occasions, although when he is working (e.g., whenever hes not in the field or at a important occasion) he wears a black bodyglove that he has modified with multiple injectors to supply him with the caffiene and various other drugs that he needs to do his job. His eyes are a piercing purple colour. He was formerly very skinny, but has put on a lot of muscle over the last few years

Personality

Adam has always felt himself to be the smartest person in the room, something that he feels that no one has done to disprove. He can be extremely condecending to just about everyone, and likes to avoid people as a rule. Formerly, he was known for being extremely shy and had a very bad stutter, but his time in the field had changed that. His lack of sleep over the last few years has rendered him rather irritable. DEspite this, he is extremely loyal to people on his side, and will never leave someone behind. He also considers a plan completely unacceptable if it results in anything more than minor losses. In battle however, he takes a almost sadistic glee in hunting his opponents, and watching as they run in circles, trying to realise how their enemy managed to appear almost on top of them.

Origins

Background

Born to a british navy admiral and a successful cabinet minister, Adam has had a gold spoon in his mouth all his life. He showed academic promise from an extremely young age, managing to read and write by one and a half, and then proceeding to become fluent in six languages by the age of five. His parents enlisted him in a special program for gifted children, only for him to finish it in six months, as opposed to the five years it was supposed to. His parents honestly didn't know what to do with him. Unfortunately, they eventually decided that their son should follow in their footsteps (his mother was a submarine captain before moving into politics) and pushed him into joining the armed forces, despite Adam wanting to go into engineering. Despite his mind, he was kind of a doormat, and he let them talk him into it.

Although he was an absolutely awful soldier, being puny and shy, he took to tactics like a duck to water, and eventually, he was allowed to guide men in the field. He led units to victory against terrorist threats, until, despite his youth, he was offered a chance to join a new unit being created for black ops operations, affectionately known by its members as the "New Knights". He joined on only one condition. The unit gave him the time, money and resources, that he poured into creating his masterpiece, the "Janus Recon and Stealth Cuirass". Using his new invention, he was able to keep up with his men in the field, giving strategy and advice to them throughout the battle, while cutting through terrorists with his blades and pistols.

However, two years ago, the new knights attacked a terrorist hideout on an island in the south china sea in an illegal operation. The operation was going well, until something jammed communications to the outside world, leaving the unit dark. When communications came back up, every terrorist on the island was dead, even those who had surrendered. Record logs from the squad to squad communications revealed what had caused it.

Adam was court marshaled, but before he could be tried, the existence of the new knights was revealed to the public, causing a diplomatic crisis. Instead of facing a military tribunal, he was wanted for war crimes. He proceeded to escape his containment, stole a great deal of technology and then proceeded to disappear into thin air. He resurfaced two months ago, only to find an offer to join the Sentinels in exchange for a new life and identity.

Family

Rebecca Harper- His mother was a former submarine captain who eventually became the minister for defence. She managed to distance herself from the New Knight scandal, but still resigned a year later for "health reasons" Adam remembers her as extremely distant.
Admiral Thomas Harper- Adam has slightly fonder memories of his father, but still remembers him as extremely cold. He is still working as a military adviser at the side of the prime minister.

Abilities

-God's Eye- His goggles can see in almost every known spectrum. They can also mark foes to show up on his allies's radar. Only one enemy can be marked at a time.

-Targeting Array- The main combat ability of his suit, the array composes of a combination of tiny motors in his arms, scanners in his goggles and the electrodes in his helmet. As a result, he can neurally target several opponents, and the motors in his arms will move his arm for him. It is not perfect, as it requires several mental calculations of distance/wind speed/etc to work each time, something that even Adam can find tricky in the heat of battle. Due to how his pistols work, he generally uses this to go for headshots.

-Grappling Gun- Name says it all, really.

-Gauss Barrage- Adam switches his pistols to automatic, and proceeds to unload them on a target without using his array. Ammo isn't much of a problem due to how they work, but they can still overheat easily.

-Nano Mist (Ultimate)- His favorite attack, he activates an small explosive that releases several million nanomachines into the air. Said nanomachines spread for about 250 metres around, and proceed to create a mist effect throughout that area. Said nanomachines also form a chaff-like substance that confuses electronics, making it almost impossible to use goggles to see through the mist. His own equipment is built with a countermeasure. The chaff isn't strong enough to affect omnics, but Adam uses it as cover. He hates to admit that he didnt actually invent said nanomachines, only modified them to his ends.

Weapons

Proto Gauss Handguns- Two semi automatic pistols that work by loading tiny pieces of metal from a block inside them and firing them at extreme speeds. Although they have excellent armour piercing capabilities, their speed and small size of the projectiles makes them less effective against flesh than standard handguns. They can also overheat if used very quickly however.

Carbon Nanotube Blades- He carries two of these, one in the shape of a small combat knife, the other in the shape of a European long sword. He has little skill with them beyond "Slash a lot" however. He does get a kick of cutting people down in the cover of mist, however.

Janus Recon and Stealth Cuirass- His personal combat suit, appearing as a sleek dark purple bodyglove almost completely covered by black armour plating. It is capable of taking hits, but is more built for speed than protection alongside the various gadgets that Adam has built into it. His helmet appears as a completely featureless purple dome, with nothing whatsoever to indicate what is under it. Inside the helmet, there are various electrodes that attach to his head, allowing him to control the suit with a thought.
