What was originally meant to be a Vampire x Elf joke.

Humans meddle with medicine and accidentally create a mutant virus that eventually wipes them out. Survivors become known as vampires, otherwise the Once-Humans. Elves emerge from the dark and repopulate the planet again.

Lab escape.

It dawns on you, at last, that you have been abandoned by the crew in the underground facility so they can save their own skin. Your only allies are a few friendly (or at least neutral) experiment subjects and your own survival instincts. Your enemies? The hostile participants in tests that went horribly wrong, now prowling in the different habitats of the laboratory.
