Alexandria "Alexis" Deva

Uh oh...

@LuckyBlackCat@Heckno12

Alexis was not liking how things have been turning out. Her body was awake, but her patience with the stars was starting to wear thin. First the chaos around the shop, and now this. Only difference was that her pokemon hadn't done anything, and no one took advantage. Still, the close encounter with the insanely powerful pokemon attack was something that she could have lived without experiencing. When she looked up, she spotted the living fossil of a pokemon in the sky. There was something off about the Aerodactyl, and it seemed enraged. That wasn't exactly something she wanted.

Even Alexis knew that fighting it here and now would be a horrible idea. Even if all of their pokemon hit it with everything they got, she doubted that the dinosaur pokemon would even be affected. It just gave off this aura of devastating strength and power that they were not ready for. They needed to run, but she was sure that the Aerodactyl would just chase them, and Alexis' body was currently in no shape to do run long enough to lose it.

She glanced at the others, even looking to the idiot on top of the ambulance, and said with a raspy, almost forced voice,

"Someone...Plan...Now..."

Oscar Berg

@LuckyBlackCat@Noxx

After dispatching the last few Rufflets, Skoll and Nomia return with the Cubone. "Yeah. Something really ruffle those Rufflets' feathers." Roadrunner gave Oscar a 'really? now?' glare. Oscar says to the man "No problem. we were in the right at the right time." Oscar looks at the stones that the man is offering. The red one caught Oscar's eye. "I will take the red one please and thank you. I do suggest we all travel to the nearest town and report what transpired here to the professor or someone in such a field." Oscar allows Nomia and Skoll to stay out til they get moving again. "Amber,can my pokemon socialize with yours until we get moving. If we get attack again, our pokemon need to trust each other. What do you think?"

Rheese Laudat

Beside what is left of the ambulance en route to Mesalon

@OtomostheCrazy@LuckyBlackCat@Iatos

Aaand that guy was back, awesome, great. That was exactly what they needed. Actually, to be honest, Kero's appearance was welcome, maybe he could distract the fat guy?

Turning to Alexis, there wasn't much they could do...a creature like that could catch them effortlessly, fighting would be suicide, and if this weirdo was willing to attack an ambulance just for honking at him it wasn't likely he could be reasoned with.

"If we can find something to distract him, we might be able to slip away." Rheese whispered, looking around for anything that could be used to get the Aerodactyl's attention. He looked up towards where Kero had appeared to see a small pink Pokemon prodding curiously at the now confused Aerodactyl's nose. Oh, a distraction came to them. But what was that Pokemon? He was sure he had seen it in a book somewhere.

Commander Helium

Outside of Mesalon

"What!?" Helium exclaimed. This was almost impossible, a Mew? There had been a few scattered reports of a small pink Pokemon that fit the description around the place, but not even team Noble had been able to confirm them until now.

Aerodactyl was caught off guard by the friendly Pokemon prodding it. At first it wasn't sure what was going on, but that curiosity was replaced by blind rage as it roared at the small creature. Mew, instinctively, created a bubble shaped barrier around itself just in time to block a hyper beam. Even the mythical Pokemon was blown back by the sheer power behind the attack. The attack was certain to be visible from miles around as it was fired practically directly up. The Mew glanced down at the wrecked vehicle and humans around it, after seemingly winking at them it flew away at blinding speed.

The dinosaur was absolutely enraged by the small Pokemon's ability to block its attack and the fact that it seemed to flee immediately after something inside of it seemed to snap. Whatever dark aura was around it seemed to frenzy as the Aerodactyl lost any semblance of control. With a powerful screech it flapped its wings hard enough to shake the wreckage of the ambulance slightly and sped off after its quarry.

"Don't kill it you overgrown rock lizard! Recruits, leave no witnesses!" Helium shouted behind him as he bounded quickly in the direction the two Pokemon had flown. Letting his dragonite out of its Pokeball he climbed on and zoomed into the distance.

Rheese Laudat

Beside what is left of the ambulance en route to Mesalon

"Now's our chance, everyone run!" Rheese shouted attempting to sprint along the path only to be stopped by four strange people that he hadn't noticed before.

"Not yet, you heard the boss...no witnesses." One of them said letting a Raticate out of its pokeball. Another sent out a Magnemite and the other two both sent out Rhyhorn.

"Wooper, Cottonee!" Rheese shouted letting his own Pokemon out. "C'mon guys, if we don't get past these guys before that big guy comes back we're all going to die!" He said beckoning the others. Ideally they'd be able to get the paramedics out as well, but if they couldn't deal with a few grunts, it was all over.

Sophia Danvers

Beside the wrecked ambulance

@Heckno12 @OtomostheCrazy @Iatos

"Kero? How did you...?" Sophia stared at the all too familiar man on top of the wreckage. How had he turned up so quickly? Right now, though, that wasn't her biggest concern. They needed anyone, even someone like Kero, to help out in any way possible.

Something else caught her attention. A tiny, pink Pokemon floating in the air. Sophia's eyes widened. Was that what she thought it was? It fit the description in the stories she'd heard. But what was it doing here?

Before she could get a good look at it, it was gone. She drew back as that unnatural taint around the Aerodactyl intensified, darkening and giving off red sparks. The aura, combined with a blast of wind strong enough to sting her eyes, made her flinch away as the Aerodactyl took off with a sweep of its powerful wings. She heard a yell, and more flapping. When she raised her head, neither the fossil Pokemon nor the round man who commanded it were anywhere in sight.

At Rheese's command, she clambered to her feet, glancing back for a second at the paramedics. "But..." She trailed off, knowing there was nothing the group could do except try to get help. Turning round, she froze. Four people blocked their path, each one sending out a Pokemon. She had to act, and fast.

"Staryu! Water Gun that Rhyhorn!" she yelled, pointing at a Rhyhorn headed in her direction. Staryu whirled towards it and shot a jet of water at the Rock type.

He watched the Aerodactyl fire off a hyper beam towards the Mew and immedietly pointed at it for Dusty to shot it in the face with a swift to distract it form following up on the attack. He exchanged a glance with the 'boss man' of these 'gang types' as the mew flew off and their leader followed it, at the presence he couldn't just chase after it himself as he hadn't his jet pack along with him. But he figured the Mew could handle itself, it wasen't called mythical for being caught after all... At least the reciever seemed to still be attached to it, the little near invisible device he had attached the moment he touched it for a brief instant.

Yet it was not of his current concern... His arrival, untimely as it was seemed to have placed him on the side with the good guys, not that he minded... but he had preferred to have a choice in the situation. However he he had no reason to hold back any longer... 'No Witnesses eh?... fine with me... no mercy'' he thought, tapping Dusty once on the head to portray that it was time to get serious. He cracked his fist let Dusty run along his arm and then Hurled the Eevee into the air at the same moment he dashed down from the ambulance, he smirked as Dusty fired off a Hidden power at the Magnemite while the second Rhyhorn was blasted by a water gun from the girls Staryu.

Nyxx Hollow

@LuckyBlackCat@fer1323

Nyxx nearly fell asleep all over again when the attack of bird Pokémon ended, if it weren’t for some guy constantly talking she would have. Thanks to the inclusion of a new voice her brain wouldn’t let her tune it out till she could correctly identify its place of origin, Nyxx got herself up and stumbled over to the old man. Scratching the back of her head, grumbling as he explained about the loot he acquired and apparently offering anything free of charged.

“Heh, cool” Nyxx said dryly as she reached for the thrunderstone because it was the easiest thing to go for; after tossing it in her back Nyxx promptly fell flat on her face on the ground and proceeded to fall right back asleep or at least she tried to having Swablu peck at the back of her head made it quite challenging.

Alexandria "Alexis" Deva

Gotta Get Outta There!

@LuckyBlackCat@Heckno12@Iatos

Alexis had to admit that she didn't like the idea of leaving people to die, but now was not the time to think. Unless the obviously evil guy switched his focus on them, the paramedics should be fine for long enough to get away themselves...at least, that was her reasoning. At the moment, they had other problems to deal with.

As the grunts sent out their pokemon, Alexis shook her head. They had all sent one single pokemon out to battle, as if they were in an actual battle between trainers. It was either they only had one pokemon to use, or that they didn't understand the gravity of the orders that the weird guy had given them. Even Alexis knew that "no witnesses" meant that they shouldn't mess around. Still, even if they had understood, it would have been useless. They were fighting Alexandria Deva, after all. They were destined to lose and fail from the start.

The others started their attack on the stronger-looking pokemon for some reason. Type-advantages and all that. The only problem was that the pokemon they took on looked tough enough to take the punishment and fight back. If they focused on the tougher pokemon, then they'd be snuck upon by the weaker ones, and a Raticate's bite was much worse than one would think.

With her voice still attempting to recover, Alexis couldn't shout out orders to her pokemon, but as she took the free moment, she whispered a plan for her team. Eevee snickered, Hoppip spun, and Snorunt nodded in agreement. Alexis' Eevee growled at the Ratcate to catch its attention. As soon as the giant rat turned its attention, Snorunt had let loose her powder snow. As the Raticate shoved the snow of its body, Eevee tackled it, and shoved the pokemon away. When the Raticate finally recovered, it found itself surrounded by afterimages of Snorunt, which hid Eevee. The Raticate didn't even get a chance to fight back as the two had taken him on simultaneously.

The grunt that had sent the Raticate out to fight was dumbfounded at the sight, so much so that it had allowed Alexis to sneak up close to him. He noticed her eventually, and attempted to hit her himself, but was blinded when Alexis' Hoppip landed on his face. When he finally got the grass-type off, he was met with enough snow to bury him alive. Eevee handled the rest of it by bashing herself against his head as he tried to get out. That was one pokemon and one grunt less to worry about. Now the other three needed to be dealt with.

Amber Pine

Route to Mesalon

@fer1323 @Noxx

Even in her shaken-up state, Amber gave a small smile. "No problem," she replied to Oscar. "In any case, it'll be good for them to spend time with other Pokemon." Kabuto had already crawled over to the Torchic, and Yanma flitted around from Oscar's team to Nyxx's. She didn't seem to be taking her earlier loss to the Buneary all that badly.

While the Pokemon socialised, Amber studied the selection of minerals. It was generous of the guy to offer free items, but there didn't seem to be anything she'd find useful... at least, not right now. One particular stone caught her attention, a grey rock encased in clear blue crystal. If that was what it looked like, it would make any rain summoned by a Pokemon last longer, and from her research into fossil Pokemon, she knew some Kabuto moved faster in rain. Something like that could be worth holding on to.

"If that's a Damp Rock, I'll have that one, please," she said. After the man handed the various rocks to people, he stood up, closing the bag and hefting it onto his shoulders.

"Yeah, as soon as I get to Windshire, the first thing I'm doing is reporting this to the professor," he said, his gaze constantly flicking from the group to his surroundings, in case any of the birds returned. "Yet more crazed Pokemon... Well, I'd better hurry. Again, thanks. Come on, you two." He returned Woobat and Cubone, then turned and set off at a brisk pace down the route before any more Pokemon could attack.

Amber frowned. "Crazed Pokemon?" she muttered to herself. The trader hadn't bothered to explain, but she couldn't say she blamed him for wanting to get out of there. Was this a common occurence here? If so, why? Putting away the blue rock, she took out a medical kit and treated the injury. "Well that was weird... I haven't seen Pokemon behaviour quite like that."

A screech overhead snapped her out of her thoughts. Lifting her head, she gasped in awe. "Is that...?" The distant shape soared closer, revealing its full magnificence. "An Aerodactyl! A real live Aerodactyl! I've always wanted to see one!" Her eyes shone with fascination. She hadn't expected to see such a Pokemon so early on her journey, but it figured that some lucky trainer from Windshire would have one, people did seem to like their Flying types there. "Such grace, yet such strength!" She kept her distance, but she assumed whoever owned the Aerodactyl would know what they were doing.

"Oh crap..." Or not. The Aerodactyl swooped around, shrieking like a furious beast, shooting beams of light from its mouth every which way. This Pokemon was even more out of control than the Rufflets, and much, much more dangerous. She pulled away as a tree crashed to the ground several yards from the group, its trunk splintered and blackened.

"Run!" she yelled, hauling Nyxx to her feet. "Kabuto, Yanma, return!" With both Pokemon safely inside their Pokeballs, she sprinted for it, checking that the others were following. Today was certainly turning out eventful... the wrong kind of eventful.

The screech made Oscar cover his ears. When he show the origin of the screech, Oscar was in awe. Amber's helpful advice snaped him back to reality. "Yeah. A tactical retreat is most wise." Oscar recalled Nomia and Skoll. Amber had bolted and Oscar runs after her. Rheese Laudat

Near what is left of the ambulance en route to Mesalon

@OtomostheCrazy@LuckyBlackCat@Iatos

"At this rate...the boss is going to be back before we're through." One of the grunts claimed, panic slowly starting to settle in. If Helium returned and these pests were still around it would end poorly for everyone involved. His magnemite sensing its trainer's unease looked back nervously.

"Wooper, Cottonee! Water gun and absorb!" Rheese said. If he were to fight fairly, he'd be outmatched. He didn't seem to be the only one with that line of thought either. He agreed with that grunt on one thing, if that big guy with the Aerodactyl got back before they had a chance to leave...Thankfully the combination attack seemed to do a fair bit of damage. Given the Magnemite's typing though, it would probably take more than that to put it down for good.

"You insolent-!" The grunt began before Rheese shouted over him.

"Keep it up you two, keep hitting it!" Rheese exclaimed to which his two Pokemon responded with gusto.

"Take them out with a thunderbolt!" The grunt exchanged. Instinctively, Wooper jumped directly into the electric type attack sustaining no damage. "But...that's a water type! How did it not..."

"Wow, I guess that's why you guys are grunts eh?" Rheese said with a smile, despite the gap in power between their Pokemon the grunts being incompetent trainers gave them a clear advantage. On top of that, if he could keep pissing his opponent off he might be able to press that. "Even children know that Wooper is a Water and Ground type. Seriously, that's absolutely hilarious."

"You shut your damn mouth kid!" The man yelled, clearly losing any calmness he had left. "Magnemite, thunderbolt again! Hit the trainer!"

Rheese's eyes widened, he had completely forgotten that these guys were meaning to wipe them out. He felt his hair raise slightly as electricity filled the air. For a moment he realized just how bad his situation was, the thought that he could be about to...And then it hit him, literally. Though it wasn't what he expected. A cold wet impact struck him square in the chest and pushed him out of the thunderbolt's path.

The blast scorched the ground where he had just been standing. "Th-thanks Wooper." Rheese said still shocked. Wooper however, was already retaliating against the Magnemite furiously flinging mud in every direction to prevent risking another attack aimed at its trainer. Normally Rheese wouldn't have any reason for Wooper to use mud sport but it seemed the Pokemon was acting of its own accord.

Commander Helium

Outside of Mesalon

"Get back here you little pink rat!" Helium shouted after the Pokemon. His Dragonite couldn't keep up with Aerodactyl or their target. Even with its incredible speed, the mythical pokemon and the Shadow Pokemon were too fast. That, and Dragonite was forced to dodge quite a few stray hyper beams. Not only that, but the Aerodactyl didn't seem to be tiring out just yet.

"They warned me not to let it get too riled, it's gone hyper." He muttered wiping some sweat from his brow. Even when hyper, Aerodactyl was having trouble with the mythical creature.

Then it happened, a successful hit. Mew was thrown to the ground, its shield bubble sputtering out and its fur singed. Finally, it was his chance! Throwing the ultra ball, Helium hopped off of his Dragonite. His moment of triumph, catching a Pokemon with the DNA of every other Pokemon, oh yes it would all be easy from here on out. They wouldn't need to go and seek out rare or powerful Pokemon to clone anymore.

Just as the ball was about to make contact with the injured Pokemon, it vanished. Just gone...teleported...without a trace. Helium's cry of unfiltered rage was only matched by the victorious Aerodactyl circling the area crying out primally declaring its quarry defeated.

Kero

It was time to take of the kiddy gloves and finally get serious. As Kero's watch started beeping he smirked, he saw the magnetize try to fry one of the whiny baby trainers. "It's time... Sin... Command Delta... " he commanded, his Eevee Flicked it's ears, leaped back... And then started flowing, it growled and then suddenly evolved into a Espeon. As Kero pointed at one of the Grunts Sin lifted the Grunt in the air and threw him at his Ryhorn from behind using Psychic.

Sophia Danvers

Beside the wrecked ambulance

@Heckno12 @OtomostheCrazy @Iatos

The blast of water slowed the Rhyhorn down, but didn't stop it. It charged. Leaping out of the way, Staryu aimed another Water Gun at it. The rock Pokemon skidded in the mud created by the attack, thudding against a tree. Growling, it tried to shake off the dizziness. The other Rhyhorn bellowed, stampeding towards the water Pokemon. Staryu whirled away from its path in a blur. Unable to easily turn, the Rhyhorn crashed into the other one, who fainted.

"Heh... rocks for brains, literally," Sophia said with an uneasy laugh, trying to mask her fear. "Good work, Staryu." At the sight of a shape in the corner of her eye, sneaking up to her, she gasped and spun. One of the grunts. She had to act quickly... The psychic force she managed to send at him wasn't particularly strong, but was enough to knock him off-balance, sending him stumbling back and falling.

Sophia nearly collapsed along with him, leaning against the side of the ambulance for a moment, before putting all the effort she could into standing straight and tall. Maybe it would deter the grunts if they thought she was a stronger psychic than she really was...

"Quick! Take her out first!" one of the men yelled. Before Sophia could react, the Magnemite was above her, crackling with electricity. The next moment, she heard a cry of "Goth-i-ta!" The Magnemite flew back, flung several feet away with Confusion.

"Gothita, be careful!" Sophia yelled. The Magnemite turned its attention on Gothita, zooming closer even in its weakened state - but didn't get to attack. A jet of water slammed into it. "Staryu!" Sophia didn't want to think what would happen if Staryu, a Water type, got hit with Thunderbolt from a high-level Magnemite... In an instant, Purrloin was beside Staryu, standing on her hind legs, a ball of light forming between her front paws. Water shot out from the light.

Sophia watched in awe. That had to be Assist... The Magnemite bobbed in the air, sparking, looking close to fainting.

Normally, Sophia would have found the irony of a cat using a water move hilarious, but there was nothing funny about this situation. Beside her, Wooper was flinging mud around with more and more intensity, protecting Rheese. "Come on," she called to her Pokemon, staggering over to Wooper, falling to her hands and knees in the dirt behind the flurry of mud. All three Pokemon stood close by her. Mud Sport would provide some protection from the Magnemite, but the danger was far from gone.

There was a flash of light. In the place of Kero's Eevee stood an Espeon, who threw one of the grunts against the still-conscious Rhyhorn with a psychic attack. Sophia had no idea how Kero had gotten his Pokemon to evolve so quickly, but maybe, just maybe, they had a chance...

Nyxx Hollow

@LuckyBlackCat@fer1323

Nyxx wasn’t exactly on the woke side of existence, so her being able to not only recall her Pokemon and do what one could only assume was a run of sorts all at the same time was nothing short of a miracle. Eventually, though her eyes did open enough to see where she was going so she could effectively guide herself to a more effective place than just her grave. Straightening herself and getting into what appeared to be a light job before it turned into a frightful sprint burning off into the distance leaving bother Oscar and Amber in her dust.

Amber Pine

Route to Mesalon

@Noxx @fer1323 @Heckno12 @OtomostheCrazy @Iatos

And there she'd been, thinking she'd have to drag Nyxx along. Now, even with all the climbing and walking she was used to doing, she was the one having trouble keeping up. Watching the girl go from a near-comatose state to a full-on sprint had been like watching a Slakoth suddenly evolve into a Vigoroth. Or so Amber assumed, anyway. It would surely be interesting to watch a Pokemon evolve... If the group got out of here alive, that was.

Glancing up at the sky, Amber stared for a moment. That pink Pokemon... She couldn't be sure, it was too far ahead, but... It couldn't be that particular Pokemon, could it? She remembered what her mother had told her about the Cinnabar experiments...

Now was no time to get distracted. She ran at full speed, only to slow and stop as she reached the side of the road.

Yet more chaos had broken loose. Beside a totalled ambulance, a group of men in strange uniforms surrounded four young adults, three of whom sported cuts and bruises. A fight between Pokemon raged full-force, and this was no regular battle.

A man staggering to his feet beside a Rhyhorn turned and glared at her. "Just what we need, another witness," he snarled. "Rhyhorn, get her!" The rock Pokemon charged.

Rushing out of the way and thinking quickly, Amber sent out Kabuto. "Use Absorb!" she commanded. Kabuto fired a red beam from his front claws, enveloping the Rhyhorn in a bright glow and draining its energy. The move wouldn't have done much to most Pokemon, but the effect it had on a dual Rock and Ground type was a different matter. The Rhyhorn slowed, letting out a growl.

Would that, along with the other Pokemon's attacks, be enough to stop it? Amber could only hope it would be. This wasn't exactly the kind of challenge she was prepared for.

Oscar Berg

@Noxx@Heckno12@OtomostheCrazy@Iatos@LuckyBlackCat

Oscar renewed his efforts in order to keep up with Nyxx and Amber. Although Oscar is used to physical exercise due to being mandatory to pertake in sports at his high school, Oscar was never the best nor was he a slouch. When Oscar came up to a road and saw the chaos that has happen, Oscar sighed heavily. Oscar noticed Sophia and Alexis with two other trainers engaged in an intense battle to the death with some uninformed poeple. Amber was already engaged with a Ryhorn.

Oscar releases Nomia and Skoll from their pokeballs. Oscar looks at Roadrunner. Roadrunner is exhausted from the running but is still combat ready. "Nomia and Skoll, go and help Amber with the Ryhorn. Amber, I am leaving you in charge of the Ryhorn with two of pokemon. I am going to help the others." Skoll and Nomia both nodded and went to Amber's Kabuto's side, posing for battle. Oscar turned his attention to the others. They are fighting a Magnemite and the Magnemite seems to be close to fainting. "RR, use ember on that Magnemite." Despite being exhausted, Roadrunner charged forward and used ember. The Magnenite was not able to handle the attack and fainted. "Sorry that we am late but reinforcements have arrived."

Sophia Danvers

Beside the wrecked ambulance

At the sound of a familiar voice shouting commands, Sophia turned her attention away from the Magnemite. She'd recognised the attitude before she'd even looked, that sureness of his own smarts... As much as Oscar irked her, though, relief flooded through Sophia at the sight of him. The slacker girl from yesterday, much more animated than usual, accompanied him, along with a woman she hadn't seen before.

"The expert strategist arrives," she said, her voice weak, but the tone tinged with sarcasm. As the Magnemite fainted from Roadrunner's Ember, Sophia tried to stand up. Her knees buckled, and she landed in the mud. Great, now she of all people looked like some weakling, some damsel in distress. This heroic rescue had better not go to Oscar's head.

Crawling through the dirt and gripping on to a low branch jutting from a nearby tree, she pulled herself up. "Gothita! Use Confusion on the Rhyhorn!" Before the Rhyhorn could charge into the woman's Kabuto, Gothita's attack sent the rock Pokemon stumbling a few steps back. "Now, Staryu, another Water Gun!" Spinning to the Kabuto's side, Staryu launched a water blast at the Rhyhorn. It surely couldn't handle much more...

Amber Pine

Beside the wrecked ambulance

"Kabuto, watch out!" Amber reached for a Pokeball at her belt, about to recall Kabuto before the Rhyhorn could slam into him. Just before it had a chance to, though, two other Pokemon intervened at the orders of the dark-haired, pale-skinned girl. A Gothita and a Staryu.

From the way the girl spoke to Oscar, it seemed as if they knew each other. "Is she a friend of yours?" Amber asked Oscar. Right after she'd spoken, she realised "friend" was a poor word choice. This girl's attitude towards him was less than friendly.

Two of Oscar's Pokemon ran to Amber's side, the Eevee kicking sand in the Rhyhorn's face, the Growlithe breathing a burst of embers towards the rock rhino. "Ok, Kabuto! Use Absorb again!" Once more, Kabuto aimed the red beam at the Rhyhorn.

The opportunity to study the way Pokemon worked together as a team would have been great, in a slightly less dire situation.

Nyxx Hollow

@LuckyBlackCat@fer1323 @Heckno12 @OtomostheCrazy @Iatos

In her mad dash to away and save her dark skin from further danger, she caught wind of a Pokémon battle happening between her new group and what looked like her mother’s fans only slightly better dressed. Everything in her brain told her to just leave them to their own devices, but that in itself went against everything she wanted to do on this journey and so against her better judgment Nyxx decided to join in on all the chaos. Being that she was behind the ruckus she could get a good shot in on the Rydon especially being that she was nearly completely unnoticed. Releasing both Buneary and Swablu she who was always prepared for a fight the trainer put her plan into action.

“Lupin, use feather dance, make sure it gets in its eyes!” Nyxx called out putting her plan into action. Swablu started to release a barrage of its strange set of feathers blinding the rock Pokémon causing it to go into a frenzy for a moment.

“Nelz unbalance him, ” she shouted and the entire group bare witness to the bunny Pokémon leaping up onto its tail, run up its back then pounded all of its weight on its horn, sending it crashing into the ground.

As it fell Nyxx herself was already walking along the side of the ambulance to meet her group “Well, I guess since we're a group we stick together right?” she sarcastically asked with a yawn using one hand to cover her mouth “Even if it is quite the bother, I guess let’s do it or whatever” she complained giving her best pep talk speech she could muster.

Amber Pine

Beside the wrecked ambulance

As Amber rushed forward to check that the others were ok, and help the girl who could barely stand up, one of the grunts stepped into her path.

"Damn kids! Don't let them get through!" He raised his fist. In a split second, Yanma was out of her Pokeball. Speeding at him, she slapped him in the face so hard with her tail that he fell over with a groan.

"Whew... thanks Yanma," Amber said as she ran past him, towards the rest of the group. Nyxx was yawning, her energy running out. She'd put up a good fight just now, though, and it looked like those bursts of vitality happened whenever she needed them. Amber kept glancing all around her, watching out for the thugs. For all she knew, they could have more Pokemon.

Alexis watched the battle unfold from the sidelines. Apparently some others had come over to see what was going on, and got roped into the fight. Alexis had already done her part, and was making sure that the grunt she and her own pokemon knocked out remained that way. Hoppip continued to bounce on the unconscious grunt, and Alexis allowed it, since Hoppip was so light that she was sure its action wouldn't wake him up. Eevee watched the battle unfold, and was simply amused at how wonderful things had gone for their side. The only one that seemed to be doing anything productive was Snorunt, who had forced Alexis to sit on the sidelines in the first place.

Snorunt didn't want Alexis to do much so soon after she woke up from that panic attack. Alexis' voice was still recovering, and all this chaos would probably make things worse if they had taken any more action to get in it. So for now, she would refuse to allow Alexis to jump into the fray. Still, that didn't mean that she was no longer a target. Snorunt and the others needed to be there to defend her, after all.

Rheese Laudat

Near what is left of the ambulance en route to Mesalon

@OtomostheCrazy@LuckyBlackCat@Iatos@Noxx@fer1323

Wooper made quick work in finishing his opponent after the electricity had been all but nullified. The Magnemite's trainer however, was staring off in the distance transfixed with a look of pure terror.

"What the hell is your ...Oh no." Rheese said, following the man's gaze. Even from here he could sense the pure rage of the round man riding a dragonite speeding towards them. It seemed that the Aerodactyl had been returned, given the man's seemingly limited control over the Pokemon it would probably be nigh impossible for him to have ridden it back. They failed, there was no way to escape now. From what he could tell, this would probably be the end for both the group of trainers as well as the people they had been fighting. "Everyone, we have to get the hell out of here, now!" Rheese shouted, knowing it was in vain. Within seconds, the man had already placed himself in the middle of the remnants from the battle just prior.

Commander Helium

Back at the battleground

"And now I have to deal with this too!" He exclaimed clearly annoyed as he surveyed the young trainers around him. "You grunts are so incompetent that you can't even handle a few fresh trainers!? Wait, are there more than before? Your inability to do such a simple task is unfathomable! How hard is it to eliminate a few witnesses!" He continued harshly at the grunts, most of which seemed to have all but given up on escaping.

One grunt, however, made a mad sprint away from the scene. He knew that either way it was over, at least if he could run there was a chance. A blast in front of him, however, cut his dash short. Ragdolling through the air back towards the scene, he landed roughly.

"Insubordination." Helium muttered quietly as he dismounted his Dragonite and landed directly on the unmoving body. The man was still alive, though unconscious. Helium remedied that with a swift kick to the man's stomach causing him to yell out in pain. "Insubordination!" He shouted kicking the man repeatedly until he passed back out from the pain.

"Now, I'll deal with this myself. If any of you pathetic whelps are caught up in the destruction, so be it." He said pulling out the same pokeball from before. "Aerodactyl, demonstrate your power!" The anger on his face seemed to lessen into a sadistic smile as the shadow Pokemon once more took to the field with a primal roar. Looking over its opponents, it prepared a hyper beam to sweep over the entire group at once. Just before firing however, a small blue Pokemon hopped into the air and hit it in the eye with a water gun. Irritated, the fossil Pokemon swatted the Wooper out of the air and directly into Rheese, striking him directly in the chest and propelling him backwards until he impacted the destroyed ambulance from before. The young man slumped over, still breathing but obviously unconscious.

"A fitting effort for such a weakling Pokemon. What, did you think that type advantage would help against such an overwhelming power? Childish, absolutely childish!" Helium said chuckling. "Now, Aerodactyl, continue."

As the Aerodactyl prepared another hyper beam it was interrupted once more, this time much more effectively. A Boufallant jumped into the air and slammed into it with enough force to launch it across the field and create a crater from the impact. As Aerodactyl attempted to get back into the air a large pair of brown hands emerged from the ground and grabbed its feet. The owner of said hands was a Diggersby that firmly held the Pokemon in place as a Cincinno bombarded it with rocks from above. The combined effort from the clearly trained Pokemon seemed to have quite an effect on the Aerodactyl that seemed to be getting more and more angry the more it was hurt.

Helium stared in shock at what was unfolding and as he turned around caught a glimpse of an old bald man walking down the road directly towards him. Recognizing the man as Mesalon's gym leader, Lan Sohai, and several of the other monks from the monastery, he took a few steps back. "Dragonite, dragon claw that man!" He said, panicking slightly. This was not what he had planned for whatsoever.

Dragonite sped straight at the bald man, claws glowing green. Before the Dragon Pokemon could cut its prey down, however, Lan muttered a few words almost inaudibly and with such calmness that it was as though he didn't even feel threatened.

"Furfrou, cotton guard." He said, as a furry white Pokemon lept between them and blocked the strike effortlessly.

This was bad, Helium hadn't even taken a full team out with him. This was supposed to just be a quick test of his Aerodactyl's power and it was quickly becoming a very very troublesome day. While Aerodactyl was still holding its own, though barely, against three opponents, because of the surprise attack it would probably run out of energy soon. There was no way he'd let himself or his Shadow Pokemon be captured here. "Dragonite, get me out of here!" He shouted, managing to return Aerodactyl. "Next time I see you, Lan Sohai, you're dead. I'll burn your whole town to the ground!" He shouted as Dragonite picked him up and sped off at mach speed. Several of the grunts sprinted off in an attempt to follow their leader that had only moments ago almost murdered them all.

After Helium escaped, the monks ran to the wrecked ambulance and helped the paramedics out of it. While they were pretty badly hurt, it didn't seem as though their conditions were life threatening. One of the man seemed to be gripping a cell phone for dear life, perhaps he had been the one to call for help?

Lan Sohai

Near the wrecked ambulance

"Is everyone alright?" Lan asked as he walked up to the group that had been engaging the strange round man from before. If he didn't feel that he was needed here, he would have probably jumped on his Dodrio in pursuit. Walking up to an unconscious trainer beside the wrecked ambulance. The trainer's Wooper was desperately trying to wake him up. Placing his hand on the young Pokemon's head, Lan examined the trainer. Other than a fractured rib, the boy was fine. Wondering if this trainer was the one that the Ambulance had originally picked up, he returned the Wooper to the Pokeball at Rheese's side. The other trainers didn't seem to be badly hurt, but even so it would be safest to bring them all back to town. A few of them seemed exhausted, and probably wouldn't be able to make the rest of the trip on foot, so Lan called another ambulance.

"I understand if you're all reluctant to travel in an ambulance after what you have all been through, but it is only a few miles more to Mesalon. The police will need to speak to each of you when you arrive, but I will convince them to wait until morning."
