"...okay then. I'll go ask someone else."

Xoxi was straight up ignored by the sniper on the rooftops, which rather sucked total ass considering she was showing no signs of being annoying. She did notice that among the conflict, a large group of cops come up and arrest a majority of the enemy to the groups of supers. She figured if any time was a good time to go and look for further information on the whereabouts of Jack, now would be that time. Xoxi walked over with her hands in the air towards the supers, standing a good enough distance away to flee if she needed to. She then spoke to the group. "I don't mean any harm, just trying to find the Jack."

Isabella tapped her fingers onto the table in front of her, mostly from an awkward feeling in the pit of her stomach. Sighing, she put her head in her hands as she spurted out a bit of air. Her eggs and pancakes sat in front of her, warm and fluffy but quickly losing their warmth. The people around her all seemed to have someone to talk to at the time, except her. It was that classic case of feeling "unbelonged" in your current situation. It's not even so much that she wanted someone to talk to. Okay, that was part of it, but it was more so that she was the only not sitting with someone, which she was sure some of them had already taken note of. Dammit Electi. It's been forever. How much sleep do you need? It was one person for crying outloud!

Last night....

The night air was surprisingly refreshing on her skin. Felt nice to be out this late...While she enjoyed the day air of California where she previously was, Australian night somehow seemed more relaxing to her. Plus it felt good being in her native land. More so, this late evening was quiet enough and empty enough where nothing was grabbing your mind unneedingly, but having the occasional whisper or sound that made you realize there was still life. If anything, it helped keep her better on guard. Keep her mind observant of what's going on. In most cases in fact, she'd occasional peer behind her past her hoodie. Tonight she didn't need to cause she was already behind what she need to observe.

A simple robber holding a lady hostage. Basically textbook crime that you'd see heroes take care of. She'd been observing from an ally corner. The guy had a knife not too far from her throat but not too close. More of a threatening distance than a painful distance. He also already seemed to obtain have obtained her purse. She let out a sigh. The moment he let his guard down she opened two portals, one right above his neck and another on the ground, some ways from her foot. The second he looked up in confusion of his new surroundings, she gave a running start before having her foot clash into his face. The guy recoiled hard and apparently that was enough to knock him out. The portal went above his head, letting him casually fall out and collapse before it vanished She casually walked into the alleyway they were in, somehow ignoring the obviously confused woman to check his pulse. Still breathing. Thank Christ she didn't snap his neck. She just got here after all. Didn't want to get arrested right off the bat. As she snatched the purse up and handed it to the woman, Electi spoke.

Isabella...I desire to sleep soon. If there are any more portals you wish to summon there, do it quickly. Uh oh. Throwing the purse over to the woman, she immediately summoned another portal and ran through. To her surprise, she ended up transported in a rather cosy looking treehouse. "Well...I did have the idea of somewhere I could relax privately without security cameras. Probably shoulda specified." In seconds she felt Electi's presence dissipate as per usual and realized she was alone again. Sitting on the bed nearby, she breathed a sigh of relief. She had barely reached it in time.

In mere seconds however, she felt a sudden wave of exhaustion overcame her body. This wasn't normal...every other time he went to sleep, she felt a little lethargic, but nothing severe. She felt herself finding it difficult to think and even to move properly. The room became dizzying waves in her eyes. "Shit...Not good but...I just need a..." Before she could even finish, she fell on her side onto the bed.

Somewhere Between Morning and Noon...

Her eyes slowly fluttered open. Stretching sleep out of her eyes with her fingers, she tried to focus them to observe what was around her. Wood...bed...Oh yeah. She got up and did a bit of stretching while trying to recall last night. Let's see...robber, rescued a woman, then Electi. Oh yeah...That's why she's in a treehouse. Walking over to the window she peered out. It seemed like an average suburban household from what she could see and, from what she gathered, this was the treehouse they decided to build in the backyard. "Guess I got lucky that they didn't look inside here yet. But I can't risk being found here. After all, *chuckles* a random girl in a treehouse? Don't think they'd be thinking I'm a hero. More like a hobo." Stepping forward, her steps thankfully weren't wobbly like most that just got up after well, fainting. She calmly climbed down the ladder before checking left and right for any civilians walking by. Coast is clear shockingly...And with that, she hurdled over.

Walking the streets with her hood over her head always felt weird. It should, considering she was essentially a runaway, but she always felt like some sorta common thug like this. Well, hey. That's simply what had to be done. Her eyes wandered around. A tv blared out more news coverage on the Nagoya Incident and general hero activity. She simply just shrugged and walked on. It wasn't her business after all. Her heart went out for those involved and how badly the situation seemed to have spiraled out, but hey. Past is the past. More importantly, a thought popped in. Shouldn't Electi be awake by now considering she was awake? Well...It's only been, what? A half hour? He should wake up soon. I should stop being paranoid.

Present Time...

Man she hated when being right bit her in the butt. Either or, this sucked. She took a glance out the window and notice a rather peculiar sight. Well, as peculiar as it can get for her. A black haired woman seemingly decked out in some high-tech gear was just calmly sitting on a bench. Like she was waiting for something oddly. She was swinging her legs around and was staring at a vending machine. Isabella looked left and right before shrugging. "Hey, it's something." She muttered with a smile before downing her food as fast as she could. Paying her bill to her waitress and leaving a nice little tip, she walked outside and saw that the woman was still just sitting there. Well, then she gave some guilty looking glances around as she went over to the vending machine she'd been staring at and got a drink. She sat down and gulped it down. Apparently it wasn't very good considering she looked at the can with disgust before slowly sipping it again. Isabella smiled. Well...at least she was normal.

Isabella walked right over and said probably the most joking thing she could. "Can't blame you for not liking it. Don't know why, but no matter what flavor they seem to use they can't get a good one out of it." she said with a smile.

Prototype 2

"Can't blame you for not liking it. Don't know why, but no matter what flavor they seem to use they can't get a good one out of it."

Flavor? She turned towards the voice, glancing over the woman of average height, wearing a hood. Odd, for there wasn't supposed to be that many people at this particular road. The woman had not asked her about her attire nor seemed curious about her in general however, so she seemed to be safe for now. Even if her suspicions were roused, Prototype could always use that excuse Maxwell taught her. Her mind however, wandered back to what the woman said.

"They can't?"

So no matter what this doctor tried, they never managed to make a good drink? That was rather sad. She remembered the red drink she had in Japan. Perhaps this doctor too tried to attain that perfect sweetness, someone like her with a fervent desire for that perfect drink. It even had almost the same color.

She gulped down the last of the drink, and threw the can with almost perfect accuracy into a garbage bin. Almost automatically, she spoke, her words lifeless and generic. Just one of the pre-programmed responses she had.

"Did you need anything of me?"

"-and that's how it went down."

Cheshire finished his mental play-by-play of the battle with Tinhead. Red stayed silent, deliberating what to do with the information. For now, he relayed it back to Charlotte, and decided to just wait for her decision. This was big, after all. The heroes, more importantly, heroes that were still openly affiliated with the Champions to some extent, were gathering to discuss the current state of events. Not only that, even heroes who'd splintered away from the group and unaffiliated ones would be in attendance.

Red walked along the road in silence, wondering at what the outcome of such a meeting would be. The tension could be felt from all sides, he was sure. Nagoya had changed something fundamental in the worlds understanding of supers.

"Oi Red, twelve o'clock," said Vorpal suddenly, and he stopped. There he was . . . or it appeared as if it was a she now.

Vorpal kept track of their mystery sniper on his orders, following her even after the battle had concluded. Having what was essentially a built in radar that ignored terrain and left no traces was another useful aspect of Vorpal, asides being able to cut through any earthly material.

So now, he stood just about six meters away from the sniper, who was conversing with a hooded woman, and sipping on a beverage. How oddly mundane for an assassin. How oddly careless as well. From her movements when they fought, he thought her a bit more professional. Staying inside the city was a bad decision, on her part.

Red was dressed in a large coat over his armor, in order to avoid drawing attention to himself while walking through the city, concealing everything but his face, and in the darkness, the only thing that would be visible would be his beady eyes. The giant teddy stopped just short of five meters from her when he spoke.

"She may not," Reds rumbling baritone cut in, with Vorpal floating by his side, ready to be wielded at a moments notice, "but I do. Care to chat a bit?"

Just as Red confronted the sniper, Charlotte's voice echoed in their ears.

"Cheshire. Make contact with the Champions. I want ears in that meeting."

"As you wish~"

Red frowned. Looks like this was it. First contact would be made . . .

Cheshire the Cat, along with several Card Mice moved quickly. While the Champions were distracted with business, they snuck into the jet, with the mice hiding in several corners and Cheshire making himself comfortable on the pilots seat. His personal philosophy was that if you had to talk with someone for the first time, the atmosphere was important. Making an impression was also paramount - that didn't necessarily mean that it had to be a "good" first impression, but it had to get them to remember you!

Which is why the stuffed cat took a small nap on the seat, looking like nothing else other than a sweet, mindless cat that somehow wander inside the private jet of a company of superheroes.

"They can't?"The woman said in a voice that sounded way too serious to be sarcastic. Has she never drunken that before? It makes sense but that was still a strange way to reply, but it sounded mostly innocent. Well, more like serious enough that it came across as innocent. Isabella scratched the back of her head and sheepishly smiled at her response. She wasn't quite sure what to say to that. Man, this was gonna be...interesting.

"Did you need anything of me?" She put her hand to her chin quizzically with a more playful smile plastered on her face. She dropped her hands down relaxedly before shrugging. "Got it. What I need you to do is juuust~ let me sit wi-""She may not, but I do. Care to chat a bit?" Isabella turned over to where the deep voice came from. It seemed to be a rather large man dressed head to toe in...coat? He seemed to be situated in the shadier part of the street with only his eyes visible. Strange beady eyes...

Her eyebrow raised as she put her hands in her pocket and looked him up and down. Bad idea to pick a fight with him right now huh? Questioning him seemed a bit smarter. "Um, excuse me sir. Is it cool if we talk here? Don't really wanna move around too much, ya know?" She said, her smile notably gone. She didn't trust this guy. Not for a second. Anyone dressed up in a gigantic coat and in darkness was never good news.

On top of that, she had no really way to defend herself like usual if this guy attacked. Her hands were firmly on the mace bottle and taser in her pockets. If nothing else, those should do something.
