Background: Mel grew up in farm country, Pennsylvania, but always had an aptitude for math and a general curiosity about how things worked. While her brother and sister were at social events, introverted Melanie would spend her free time solving logic puzzles or tinkering with the family computer. However, like many in rural PA, she learned to deer hunt from her father and quite enjoyed the yearly ritual of stalking the woods along side her father and older brother in the first week of December. She even had her picture featured in the local paper one year alongside her trophy buck. In college, she met a man named Jeffrey, her opposite in many ways, but is engaged to be married to him next year.

Personality: Introverted. Determined. Has trouble letting a problem alone until it has been solved. (Even then, there might be a better way to solve it.)

Name of the planet they come from ( Remember. The races don't know each other and don't know about any other races. They are non-space fairing races ) : Paradenchia, a mainly forest, jungle, and seasonal desert planet.

Skills (they have to be consistent to their job. A medic will not have the skill to shoot with a sniper rifle as one that does that for a living. 3 Skills Max. 2 Skills if you want a reward later in the RP ) : Battle/Weapon usage and some limited skills with computer tech. (Will not understand anything past 1990 when it comes to computer stuff)

Background story ( who are they ? ) : Bluestar was raised like many Sharies (my new nickname for his species), in a large male group, watched only by his many fathers. He was taught to play and hunt, being given many toys to entertain himself, and being set loose with animals, some being similar to chickens and small forest animals on earth, soon leaning to catch, kill, and eat them. As a Sharie, his childhood of peace and fun ended when he became a teenager, where he was sent away as new free spirit, living in the hot jungle for a whole year, eating everything he could, before ending up in the city, where he made his living hunting and killing, as well as gather artifacts and items for the much more docile females. Like many, he gained his right to breed, and spent most of his free time planting the seeds of his children into every willing and capable female he could find. Bluestar saw a bright light in his future... but then it all went black, and now he was in... some place he swore he did not remember.

Personality : Bluestar is one of those you'd never expect to be friendly. To other Sha'rkoloc, he's quite and outgoing, friendly, and helpful person, willing to even drag his kill over and give it to the person he's talking to, and then resume his conversation. However, if threatened, mostly by another sentient being outside of his species, he will quickly change. His ears will bend back, he will snarl and growl, and he will expose his teeth in an attempt to drive away the hostile other. If he or she does not back away, he probably will attack, mostly to defend himself or another. However, if you even hurt someone he likes, he will relentlessly hunt you down, catch you, and then eat your limbs in front of you before killing you. He tends to not trust outsiders, so the best way to get to know this guy is be another Sha'rkoloc like him.

Name : Marlaka Baran'dak ( The dark one in Semper language )

Nickname : Traaka

Race : Semper

Gender : Female

Appearance : Traaka is different from other Sempers. She is 1.8 like the others but her bark is black and even some of her leaves are withered. She is considered possessed by darkness in her culture and 'thus she was resented since she was born by every other Sempers. Her body is muscled due to many hours spent training in the woods of Semperia.

Background story ( who are they ? ) : Being born in a religious culture is what made Traaka what she is now. Her parents when they saw her , thought that they were cursed and abandoned her at the edge of the forest where it is said that spirits roamed free. Mraaka , saved her from certain death. Mraaka was an exiled Semper that decided to make the forest his home due to the superstition of his race. He raised her until she was 16 years old , when he was caught by Semper Fanatics that decided his life was a blasphemy to the Gods and killed him. Traaka ran as she saw her adoptive father killed. She became a bounty hunter for the Semper. No one trusted her because of her appearance so she kept her bark and leaves hidden. When she finally found someone that didn't considered her to be an abomination , she was teleported to The Arena.

Personality : Traaka is the kind of gal who will buy you a drink if she thinks it will help her win your trust. Being not trusted most people from her planet , she has lived a lonely life and when she found someone who didn't hate her...she did anything she could to make him not hate her. 'Thus she is ready to do anything for those that she considers friends.

Planet: The very cold and snowy planet of Akran

Background story: Gerlach comes from a line of doctors... 4 generations now, all the way back to his great grandfather who was a surgeon during the Soergel War. Gerlach, however, dreamed of becoming an astronomer, or maybe even an astronaut. He loves the night sky and the stars. And despite some mocking from his friends and his sister, believes strongly in alien life, often spending hours reading scoffed-at 'conspiracy theories' about alien abductions.

Under pressure from his father, he agreed to study medicine and just recently graduated from his medical studies in the city. But during that time, he kept up his amateur astronomy studies and his hobby of researching reported alien encounters. And when time and opportunity could be found, he would even visit the sites where these encounters had supposedly occurred, becoming ever more convinced that aliens were indeed real and had visited Akran.

Personality: Friendly. Patient. Daydreamer. Avoids conflict with others.
