@Silver CarrotRight now, he's sorta talking in circles to himself. He's bringing down the idea that "the power of friendship" and good will are going to help him master his mutation. He believes that practice and skill alone are going to help him achieve his goals, and his mental state will have no effect on that.

He's also having trouble reminding himself that as the leader, he can't do it alone.

Shawn doesn't want to think that having friends back him up and criticize him will help, but he knows that he needs help and the viewpoints of his friends and teammates to help him get better.

@pyroman Can't remember did Booker or Emma reveal she is a telepath to everyone on Booker's team? If so I will either have to change my last post or just have Rose Mary not know due to inattention or forgetting, inattention more likely due to being distracted.

I am also assuming that Emma knows Rose Mary is sexually attacted to her, Rose Mary doesn't know that Emma knows, assuming Emma knows.

Also, Emma doesn't really need Telepathy to have a hunch that Rosemary has the hots for her. Especially when you'll always look in the prime of your life, it's more of a surprise to find someone who isn't attracted you to in any way.
