Inuzu is in Viridian Forest. Defeating everyone in the area with his Charmander. He was nearing the end of the forest, when a bug catcher stopped him. "I challenge you to a b-"
"Yeah, let's just get this over with" Inuzu interrupted, anxious to leave the place.
He tosses his Pokeball without saying anything.

"Tch." The bug catcher said annoyed. "Go! Caterpie!"

It was Charmander versus Caterpie, this is a one way match.

"Ember." Inuzu yawned. "Do it now."

Charmander shot tons of fire from its mouth making a direct hit on Caterpie. Caterpie could no longer battle. Inuzu won.

Without taking Charmander back, he walks as soon as possible to leave. "Come on, Charmander." Charmander follows along with him. He was one step away from being out. "Ember." Charmander looks at him confused. "On the trees."
The Charmander obeys reluctantly, spraying fire at the trees, causing the forest to burn.
"Heh."

The smoke could be seen from the other side of Viridan. Liam got a horrifed look on his face. Dashing forward he pulled a bike out from his bag as he ran and hopped on, accelerating his movement speed. Pikachu used Agility to catch up and jump onto the bike's handlebars. Liam pedaled through town and was halfway to the forest before Jenny came ridding up on her motorbike. They both came to a halt right before the forest.
"Sherlock!" Liam called out in his mind. "I need you to come to me with Hydro, I need him to be ready for Mega Evolution." In a matter of seconds, the shiny Alakazam appeared with a Blastoise in tow.
"Hydro! Mega Evolve!" Hydro became enveloped in light and changed form. "Now, spray everything down with Hydro Pump!" Jenny called on a Squirtle to assist with its Water Gun.

The twins finally catching up, only able to run to where Liam and Jenny are at. "What's going on?" Koneko asks terrified. "Why was the forest engulfed in flames like that?"

"We do not know the source of the fire yet." Liam said. Sherlock was also helping put out the fire by teleporting dirt in and spreading it in the fire.

"Is the forest going to be closed?" Neko asked. Pretty anxious to continue his journey.

Shiranui arrived with the twins. He saw Liam at work putting the fire out and addressed Officer Jenny. "Jenny, have your Growlithe use Odor Sleuth," he suggested, "The pyromaniac behind this arson attack would not think to disguise their scent and would likely have a Fire-type Pokémon on hand. Hoshi, use Hydro Pump and help extinguish this fire!" Shiranui sent his Starmie out and Hoshi snapped into action. The Starmie leaped into the air and sprayed powerful blasts of water from all ten of its limbs while spinning at a high speed, making like a powerful water sprinkler and ensuring all the hotspots in the immediate vicinity were extinguished.

"Even if that is the case, Sherlock can teleport us to the other side." Liam said. "But for now, let's focus on saving the forest."

Jenny had her Growlithe do as Shiranui suggested. It began to dash off into the dank forest. Hydro and Sherlock went back to Oak's lab via teleport.
"Jiriya! Aide in the chase!" The Greninja leapt forward and dashed after Growlithe. Liam than followed alongside Jenny.

The twins still with minimal experience can do nothing but watch and follow. But without bikes, the option to follow is hardly there.

"I wonder if Inuzu is still in Viridian city as well." Neko thought to himself trying to keep up with Liam and Jenny.

Growliethe and Jiriya were coming closer to the origin of the scent.

Shiranui had Hoshi use Rain Dance to prevent further hotspots for flaring up as well as boost the water output.

Growliethe dashed out of the forest and tried to follow the scent.

Neko becoming more and more impressed as the scene goes on, watching the people and their pokemon work. He begins to wonder if he could ever become like them.

Growliethe dashed up to him and growled at him. Jiriya arrived on the scene.

The forest fire was extinguished and the rain stopped. "Nicely done, Hoshi," he praised, noting to himself to thank Sherlock and Hydro for their part.

Jenny and Liam began to close in on where Growliethe stopped to bark.

Trying to catch up to Liam, the twins find themselves in Pewter city near a pokemon centre. Out of breath, the two stop.

Jenny caught up to the one who ordered the Ember. "So, you're the one who started the fire?!"

Shiranui caught up as well.

Liam made it there. "Wait, didn't we just see you in Pallet Town?"

"Yeah and so what if I did?" Inuzu says mockingly. He drops his pokeball, sending out his charmander. A big devilish grin came onto his face.

"Oh it's you. So what do you think about my path?"
