@Xan the G I'd forgotten to mention this, but your post doesn't indicate the weather and time-of-day described in the first post. Because of this, I've set the response to you in my post the morning before everyone else.
I just wanted to let you know that you're not going to be on the same time-line as the others until it is played through. I'm not requiring you edit your post, I just want to make sure it's understood before I post (which is going to be a few minutes from posting this).
I'm also adding a line suggesting he has an "accent" due to his not being from Hoenn. I just like the idea that they have different dialects (or even languages if people want to develop that aspect of the setting).

I'm totally fine about the weather/time thing. I wasn't sure when or in what weather the rests of the posts were taking place, so I tried not to pick a time that would conflict with anyone else.

The dialect thing was actually something I thought about myself, but I didn't want to assume as I'm not the only person with a character in Hoenn but not FROM Hoenn while also trying to fit in. You'll see I tried to keep Jin's speech as brief as possible, since he's not a world class spy who would instantly know to clone dialects.

@Kymera I took some time to think about that suggesting. I'm kind of wary about adding more stipulations/descriptions/limitations to the list since it's already so intensive. I could rationalize not adding regulations as "common sense among the population of Hoenn." I would also think there would be technologies that would be common as to alert Rangers to individuals in danger. (The Gauntlets are specifically for Trainers)
The other thing is that Hoenn is quite connected to its environment and the general population would probably have a better sense of wilderness survival skills than those from other Regions.
However, if I were to add a restriction to Routes (which I, inherently like the idea of, despite my argument against it) would be # of badges, or something. Like Lv. 4 you need at least 6 badges, Lv. 5 you need at least 12 (I don't believe Lvs. 1-3 would need restrictions).

@Xan the G Well, the previous two posters described afternoon/evening and rain. And I had previously decided that the first poster would determine the time of day/season/weather that the others would have to follow. Regardless, it's not a big deal. If you're unsure in the future, just ask. ^^

I would appreciate that. Honestly I was having trouble figuring out where to go from the bath. I mean, I could write five paragraphs about Diego taking a bath if you'd like... but I think we'd both rather move things along lol. If nothing else, I'll have Diego bring out his own Azumarill to interact with Joy.

And I still need to think of nicknames for the team...

@Prints Avoid Well, it doesn't have to just be the bath. You can make something up for after it (Joy could bring you to her Pokèmon friends or bring you to a small bedroom, bring you clothes that don't quite fit and you make that a small dilemma, etc.). They're NPCs so I don't really have a strict thing they have to follow. I added to the Briney that I didn't even make up. Like I said, you're free to take some control over NPCs. If I feel like its too much or it goes against what I have planned, I'll PM you. Otherwise, I'll make notes on what NPCs are important to the plot. Right now, it's relatively sandboxy. My next post will have some drama, though. I don't want it to be boring for too long ;P

I'm thinking of either adding to my existing post or writing another one over the course of today. Is there anything anyone's unsure about or has questions on?

Other than that, in the meantime, if you're (everyone) looking for something to do, you can add to our Technological section. It can be something as small as adding an application to the Gauntlet, to adding a piece of technology that non-trainers can use to a completely new piece of technology, either for humans, Pokemon, or the environment, for any profession.
Other than that, add a Landmark! Develop a village in a forest or make a more fleshed-out description of an existing City! Create something that you might interact with in the future. ^^

So, I went a little further with my "Power-Playing." Let me know if it went too far. I'm not sure how much everyone's comfortable with in situation where someone else made the NPC. But I'm certainly not against any of you interacting with the character on your own. If you're really concerned, you can always PM me before you post. But if everyone's more comfortable bunnying, then I'll probably continue with this level of "power-playing" simply to keep the plot moving and keeping things interesting.

Any suggestions are always welcome, too. ^^

Eh, I'd say this post was right on the line for me. That is, Diego's part does. I can't speak for the rest I should make clear that normally I wouldn't have been okay with so much power-playing. In this specific instance though, I consider it a detailed time skip. You didn't make any decisions of consequence for Diego. Only part that made me uncomfortable was him assuming his missing clothes were a prank. Not a big thing, but still not quite the reaction he'd have.

The clothes though. He definitely carries more than one set of clothes. Not sure if that was a thing, or they assumed the rest of his clothes were also wet, or we can chalk it up to more of Joy being Joy. Either way the end result is too good not to keep.

Just to be clear, the new guy is knocking on the window of the room Diego is in?
