Like, Shertul has never harmed anyone (scared a lot of people, yes, threatened murder to passerby who happened to see his body, yes, but never actually done it because he's a chicken ) and their whole reasoning is "A few people at his Monastery are evil, and he's gross, so he has to die for walking into the town!"

I mean, if these are our good guys, what the hell do the bad ones act like?

the Nephilim see fleshspinning as a dark magic, and any types of dark magic a threat to Terra, and something in possible connection to the Revenant. in Kaezira's eyes, fleshspinning is a mockery of the beautiful art of magic. put into real world comparison, Leonardo da Vinci made Mona Lisa and he was like "hey this is pretty cool" and he worked hard on it and it was his art form, then some asshole's like "haha art is dumb" and then makes a mockery painting of the Mona Lisa called the "Moner Lizer", thus Leo is offended.

the Nephilim are simply doing what they have sworn to do.

thats the thing, this isnt a real life reasonable explanation this is just his explanation. Kaezira, in his own views, perceives fleshspinning as a mockery, even if it is not inteded to be. Kaezira has a very very deep passion for magic, so this "mockery" very very deeply offends him.

you're right though. he's gone so far as to call the creature names and condemn it primarily based on his hatred for them, though he is generally a pretty nice guy. its just character depth. what a fuckin magical asshole

Basically she did the thing where toddlers will wrap their whole hands around only a few fingers to him. But she's pulling him away from the Neph.
