[OOC] Aldarina Has Fallen (D&D Story)

In the land of Aldarina, the King is in need of help. Orcs have been ravishing the small towns in order to cause mayhem and destruction. The King has put a very large bounty for the head of the Orc leader and for all the Orcs to leave and never return. Not just any adventurer would take a mission such as this. You must be of strong will and determiniation to get this job done. Eternal glory and riches will be yours.....Who is willing to sign up?

This will be using D&D based character such as:

Barbarian
Bard (not very many)
Cleric
Druid
Fighter
Magic-User/Mage/Wizard
Monk/Mystic
Paladin
Ranger
Sorcerer
Thief/Rogue
Warlock

List of Races include:
Dragonborn
Dwarf
Elf (Wood Elf, Dark Elf, High Elf)
Half-Elf
Halfling
Human
Orc (but you would be only Chaotic Evil)
Gnome
Goblin

If the race or class you want is not on the list, ask me and I will see if it would be fine for you to use. If you can stick to the list though. It would make things a lot easier. Here is the character sheet everyone needs to fill out. Post them on the CS page and I will approve them there.

Appearance: Photo is best/Anime is fine
Name:
Nickname:
Age:
Race:
Gender:
Class:
Alignment: (Chaotic Good, Good, Chaotic Neutral, Neutral, Evil, Chaotic Evil)
Skills: Not too many 3-5 max
Weapons: Stick to your class based weapons
Gear: Anything else you think you need. No more then 100 gold to start with
Personality: Paragraph or long list
Back Story: Paragraph min.

RULES
1. No fighting in the OOC! I do not like drama and I don't tolerate bullying
2. No one can post till your character sheet is accepted
3. Cussing is aloud but not too overboard
4. Every post must be minimum of a paragraph but I would prefer more then that
5. Have fun!

If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask here. This is also a story based D&D so their will be no dice rolls to make the RP run more smoothly. If I get enough requests I will make a separate OOC for dice based D&D but that will be a ways off.

Yes you can join. I am always looking for people to help out my story. I am not using versions with this D&D based story. I am just using the basic characters that D&D uses and the whole medieval fantasy theme. And you don't have to worry I am a very laid back Gm. As long as you follow my rules, you will be fine.

Yes you can be the Goliath race. Here is a link to give you a good idea what each class uses. It would take me WAY too long to go into detail on all of them. I would if I could but I also have school work along with this.

I have two ideas I like, but I don't know which one to pick. They're both characters I've actually used to play DnD:

Human Fighter, using dual long swords and a longbow

Tiefling Cleric, using dual repeating light crossbows (A bit iffy, but my DM was cool with it)

What do you guys think?

@Shadow Daedalus Well I'm gonna be going with my first D&D character I made who is a Tiefling Wizard, if that informs your decision at all. I will say though if this were a real party we're already pretty melee heavy, and have 2 fighters. Though fighters come in a lot of flavours so it's not bad do have a few.

I'll have a think about what I want to do for a character. The only DnD Campaign I ever played, I wrote up a Deva Bard. That was interesting.

Also, @Shadow Daedalus, the Tiefling Cleric sounds cool.
