Alright everyone, I have a general announcement. I dont like dictating Roleplays so I would like to let you all make some decisions around here! Here is a small list of things I need you all to consider and give me a thoughtful response. (as well as informing other Players of your ideas!)

Here is the light outline of what needs to be answered:
What kind of environment will it take place in? (Forest? Mountain? other?)
Will we use book clans? Or will we create our own?
Who will be Clan Leader?
Who will be our Medicine Cat?
Will any two-legs be near us?
How many other cats will there be besides up players? if any?
Please add anything and everything you have questions about or would like to include in this RP.

Now, Everyone communicate amongst yourselves and PM me your results :)

I guess I'll go ahead and throw in my 2 cents.

What kind of environment will it take place in?

Personally, I would prefer one of two options: 'Forest', similar to the first hexalogy, or a mixture of many settings, similar to the third (??? It really has been a while.) hexalogy, where the clans 'migrated'.

Will we use book clans? Or will we create our own?

Eh. I'm cool with either.

Who will be Clan Leader?

Since we dont have a co-GM atm, I'm gonna go with @Zi for this position. Easy way to help guide the RP along once a general plot is formed.

Who will be our Medicine Cat?

Not me. Unless we can have multiple cats in different clans. In which case, me. Reasoning later.

Will any two-legs be near us?

Also. Eh. Unless someone has a Rusty-esque character in mind, in which case, sure.

How many other cats will there be besides us players? if any?

Either a) We will need a shizzle-load of NPCs in opposing clans (or each have multiple cats in different clans) or
b) Create some story-line that doesn't involve clan v clan conflict.
I'm thinking maybe 2-3 clans, each with both NPCs and PCs, because without the clan v clan, would it really be Warriors?

So, unless we decide to have multiple clans playable, I definitely do not want a specialized spot. This semester I've got to devote a LOT of time to studying. Like, 17 credit hours, all weed-out engineering classes type of time. That being said, I wouldn't want to take a Leader/MD cat position away from someone who has more time to put into this RP. However, if there are, say, three playable clans and one of those positions is open, I would gladly fill it.

I feel two biomes is a nice. Even in the first series, The three forest territories have notable differences and landmarks and the fourth is a plains
Will we use book clans? Or will we create our own?
I prefer our homebrewed clans but I would not mind the book clans.

Unless there is a interesting and not cliche plot hook to include them, nope.

Environment?
Possibly a mix and match of a few or couple? Something quite hilly and rural against a low-end flatland might dish good lands and qualities for clans.

Clans?
Maybe with a different environment, carefully crafted ones may do the trick.

Leader?
GM, if you are okay with it.

Medicine-Cat?
CO-GM or someone who you will share plot development with.

Two-legs?
Personally, I'd negate them unless they are crucial to the plot.

Other Cats?
NPCs can be useful here. We need the clans to feel like Clans, right? Maybe mostly filling up the side-roles, as well as completely/contributing to other clans as Warriors, Kits, Rogues, Etc etc.

Maybe a mix of a few? In the first hexology, each Clan had its own sort of landmarks within its territory. Where Thunderclan was more forest-y, while Riverclan was more...river-y? So maybe we could do something like that?

Creating our own would be more fun, I think.

Probably the GM, if you're good with that.

Co-GM maybe? If we end up having one?

Nah, we got so much of them in the books that they ended up becoming kind of a stale plot point. It'd be more fun if they weren't involved.

How many other cats will there be besides up players? if any?
I guess that depends on whether or not we all stick to one Clan or if we can have multiple characters in other Clans. If we all end up sticking to just one, then we'll need to unleash an army of NPCs to fill up the others.

@Zi Sorry to flake on you guys, but I'm gonna have to bow out. My little one is due very soon and I don't feel that I can put in the time that roleplaying needs with a new baby at home. Have fun though, and maybe in a while I'll check back and see if you guys need a side character or two later on in the roleplay.
