But after saving her adopted brothers from a stronger Digimon, she decided that she would do her best to protect her family and friends, even though she was only human.

Personality: Meruem is a distant youth whose enigma tends to draw unwanted attention to himself. Oddly enough, its this adverse effect that garners a kinda charisma and intense atmosphere about him. Many will mention that he has the anti-hero vibe, appearing like a vigilante, silently executing, then vanishing like a phantom. Beyond his apparent brooding and distaste for others, its clear that he loves all Digimon and is far more willing to give them mercy then his own kin. His interaction with Digimon is often the only way one may sneak a peek at his charming smile. Perhaps he could return to his encouraging and resolved past but it seems unlikely.

Backstory: Meruem visited the Digital World often with his elder brother, who through a mosaic of problem-solving, entered on accident. It was his older brother's stumbling onto the monsters that made him realize he'd need to document his findings. So he did, for several months, before disappearing. Meruem, who was cleaning up his things after years of investigations had gone cold, stumbled upon those notes. The loss of his brother had made him emotionless and cold, but he taught himself to understand the mathematical equations. He, however was unable to enter the Digital World no matter what he tried.

That was until he heard Hero's voice. The Digimon reached out to him, dragging him into the Digital World in some vanishing concept. It was later revealed that he had contracted helped from another to bring him into the Digital World. It was there that he received his brother's Digivice, befriended Hero, and along the way gathered a team of Digimon with their own equally appealing and saddening stories. His own goal is to find his brother, Haru, and bring him back home.

He contracted the help of Wisemon and guided Meruem to the Digital World just to meet his promised partner.

Personality:

Violet has always had a love of anything involving computers or code, and had made it her dream to one day create actual, living organisms out of data. When she one day awoke to find herself in the Digital World and learned about the existence of Digimon, however, this dream was crushed. She didn't think it would be right to try to create new digital creatures when there were already so many. She feels like she could do a lot of good for Digimon, if only she could find a damn computer, and has taken to each one she's met like siblings. Her morbid and sometimes random humor is lost on most of them due to their biological differences, but the Digimon she's met have managed to do what no humans outside her parents have ever done, make her empathize with them.

Background:

Born to a father who works for a large electronics company and a college-professor mother, Violet has never wanted for anything. Being home-schooled by her high-expectation mother, she spent her days sleeping and finding entertainment in cartoons and anime while her nights were spent cramming an entire public school education in semester sized chunks at a time. Having a nearly perfect memory made the process quick and relatively painless, leading her to develop a detached personality, as if life were just something to do for the sake of doing.
Coming from a family with money, she was able to experience nearly everything that sparked her interest as soon as it came out, and went so far as to teach herself several languages just to be able to enjoy the more obscure (often fan-made) material and the original versions of the shows and manga. It was this fascination with anime (and particularly the hackers portrayed) that first sparked her desire to learn programming. Her eventual dream of making living, digital organisms became so all-encompassing that she began ignoring her studies entirely despite her mother's insistence.
At age 12, her mother made her a deal that she couldn't help but accept; if she could finish the rest of the schooling that her mother wanted from her in one year, her mother would use her position as a college professor to request an early taking of a GED test, allowing Violet to spend the entirety of her teenage years doing whatever she wanted. And so she consumed everything that she came across, getting not only the equivalent of a high school education, but quite a bit of a college education as well. The day after her thirteenth birthday, she completed the testing for a GED with a perfect score in four of the five categories. (Ironically, it was mathematics that wasn't up to snuff.) She's spent the months since then working under the alias "Metaphsycical" (well, she thought it was clever) as a "white hat hacker," working with companies to find weaknesses in their security for a fee in the hopes that she'll somehow find the inspiration and knowledge she needs to finally create an AI that could be considered truly "alive."

Personality: Tye has a rather prickly personality. For all intents and purposes, he's usually a nice enough guy despite being very low energy usually. He constantly complains when faced with anything he considers tedious even though he goes with the flow anyway. This and his usual penchant for taking people for what they initially show him tend to make appear very insensitive. This is no more present than his interactions with some of his Digimon partners. HAL acts like a machine rather than "a living being" compared the rest of Tye's partners so he treats him like one. He is in a similar situation with Rex who acts mostly like a soldier so he treats him like one.

He acts the exact opposite when he takes on his "Violet Emperor" persona. When faced with a competitive "win-or-lose" situation (usually battles, but could be anything competitive), he becomes focused and tactical, very unlike his usual aloof self, in order to win.


Backstory: Born the baby of the well-off Alexander family basically led to him being ignored by his parents and 6 older siblings and shunned by his peers growing up. Feeling isolated he turned to online gaming for a sense of belonging and over the years grew quite a reputation on the online PVP scene under his handle "Violet Emperor." His infamy as the "Emperor" helped him cope with his family situation and even earned him a few friends from the experience.

He doesn't know exactly how he got to the Digital World and hasn't interacted with it in cpacity before but for some reason feels nostalgic about it.
